Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
oooggs · 13/08/2007 20:55

I have to apologise - I still 'see' you all with your original names, so I am sorry if I use ellie, nutty, octo, eca etc... instead of you new chosen ones

I am apologising cos you have obviously changed them cos you want new names

SORRY

WestCountryLass · 13/08/2007 20:56

I've not sterilised anything either

oooggs · 13/08/2007 20:56

wcl - dts have baby cereal at 5pm and it has made no difference to their night time sleeping at all, they have been on it 3 weeks

WestCountryLass · 13/08/2007 20:57

I'm sure no one minds oooggs

WestCountryLass · 13/08/2007 20:59

oooggs, see, I am right LOL!

oooggs · 13/08/2007 21:01

I sterlise bottles but nothing else

emmymummy · 13/08/2007 21:05

OK, have tried to catch up, but can't remember anything apart from Octo/FF's indecisiveness LOL, and that Joma's sister is a complete hypocritical pita! So, just wanted to say 'Hi' really. Off on holiday this week, so not likely to be on much, if at all for the next couple of weeks. Oooggs, and all those in the West Country, please join me in a sun-dance.

JoMa · 13/08/2007 21:05

fraid not WCL, Joe was going 2-3 hrs between feeds, gave him baby rice, now I get 4-5 hrs!

oooggs · 13/08/2007 21:06

where are you going emmymummy?

happimummy · 13/08/2007 21:06

joma - i think a bamboo square would dry fine. T's shaped bamboo takes a whole day on the line in the sun.

oooggs- of course we don't mind!

no sterilizing here either. But T only has his doidy cup, which I just bung in the dishwasher.

oooggs · 13/08/2007 21:08

cheers eca

happimummy · 13/08/2007 21:09

joma- that sentence is meant to say "in the sun though" .

emmymummy · 13/08/2007 21:10

Oooggs - we're going to Bedruthan Steps, between Newquay and Padstow. Went there last year too, it's v. lovely and family friendly...looking forward to it lots .

WestCountryLass · 13/08/2007 21:10

Was only joking joma, course I am not right, and am glad your baby is going a bit longer

JoMa · 13/08/2007 21:13

so am I WCL, he waited til i went back to work to start going 2 hrs, made it bloody difficult to express enough!

JoMa · 13/08/2007 21:13

tho i do seem to remember it making bugger all difference with matthew!

oooggs · 13/08/2007 21:19

emmymummy it's lovely there - hope the weather gets better for you cos tomorrow is going to be terrible

emmymummy · 13/08/2007 21:30

Oooggs - I know the weather's going to be hideous for the next few days. Am hoping it's all going to blow over and be nice again by the weekend! Nevermind, dd1 and dh have wetsuits so will be in the sea no matter what. The hotel is very nice, we will be well looked after, even in the pissing rain! Just looking forward to getting away really.

maveta · 13/08/2007 21:32

Went for my run! 30mins and my thighs are killing me but I did it! woohoo.

emmymummy - have a fab holiday!

Nappies? Who said nappies? Basically they can be as cheap or expensive as you like. It´s like baby clothes, if money is tight and you want to be economical and practical you buy a minimum of white babygros and a couple of cardigans and that´s it. But if you have some spare cash you might see a really cute outfit and you think..aawwww.. go on..

Personally I have spent about 300 pounds but I´m set now and shouldn´t need many more til he´s out of nappies now AND of course I can use them all for any future babies in which case they´ll work out even cheaper. AND of course you can eventually sell them on when you´re finished with them. I only spent so much because I used sized two part nappies from birth. Now I´ve changed to one size pocket nappies. They so aren´t hard work at all, but I´m sure you all know by now - I´m a diehard fan!

Well, I´m done in.. I´m off to bed, night all x

Sexonlegs · 13/08/2007 21:45

Maveta, congrats on your run!

Emmymummy, have a wonderful holiday and I am sure the weather will pick up just in time!

Happimummy, hope T has a better day tomorrow. Teething is such a bugger.

Bugmum, lovely to see you again.

Big wave to everyone else, as I have forgotten everything. Brain is mush having spent all day with K!

Have been trying to phone the inlaws for the past 45 inutes to see how B is doing and it is engaged. I hate the engaged tone - it is so annoying! I wouldn't be surprised if mil has left the phone off the hook by mistake. She can be a bit of a numpty!

Hope everyone is well and having good evenings. All ok here. xx

zazas · 13/08/2007 21:49

Hello - have read through to catch up - lots going on! Well done for the run Maveta / wishing you sun emmymummy / hope the bf is going Ok flashfin? / wishing you saints patience joma!!! and a hello to you all!

I can only add that S does not roll one way or the other / wakes up ALL the time through the night for a feed - driving me slowly nuts and that I mostly love washable nappies although seem to get quite a few leaks

Full on here - all 5 kids on my own this week, lots of fun but tiring. Visited a friend today with her one baby DS - all had a good time but the look on her face as I rounded them up to leave and it took 40 mins was priceless

katy I am with you with trying to keep house tidy for people to view - we had 4 viewing last week, each time I just hope they don't want to look in the cupboards!

I am completely braindead, I swear I had about 3 hours sleep last night. End up sleeping with S as too whacked to put her back in her bed for the umpteenth time - how I managed to create this situation I just don't know But she does do those belly laughs which does make it sort of all right

maveta · 13/08/2007 21:52

have to share this with you

lazyemma · 13/08/2007 21:53

hello ladies - just wanted to pop in and say hello. All well here - first night of trying to get B into a bedtime routine, which was much less fraught than I imagined it would be, given that I've been rocking her to sleep every day of the last four months!

Got a job interview tomorrow. Evening job, typing. Had to buy new trousers, as am still too fat for all my old ones.

emmymummy · 13/08/2007 21:54

Zazas - wow! I don't know how you manage, you must have the patience of a saint!

SOL - hello!

Maveta - well done on your run. There's no way my boobs will let me run, have even tried it with 2 sports bras on. I've obviously got bigger/floppier boobs than you! (well I would have, I am even older than Mammyjo after all).

OK, have added a few more pics of the girls to my profile.

Off to bed now, nighty night!

lazyemma · 13/08/2007 21:54

the trousers were for the interview, btw. I didn't just randomly add the bit about trousers for no reason.
