Happy Birthday Jas .

You've all posted lots for a change, but I can't remember anything except Jas' b'day.

Had another dreadful night last night. DD slept 8:10-11:30 and then 1-5:30, and that was it. She's also only had 40 mins sleep all day today - after only 8 hours last night. We've put her in her own travel cot rather than the one that was here, and are hoping that she'll be knackered enough to sleep better tonight. Certainly went down more easily, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

Weather was lovely today, so spent the day at the beach. Forecast to be just as good tomorrow, but it's our last day .

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/09/2007 20:07

Friz - has Munz had her thread deleted? Just went to look at it, but your linked thread isn't there, and a search makes it sound like there was another which I now can't find.

Frizbe · 13/09/2007 20:46

CSWS I'll check in a minute, sorry you had a crap night {{{Hugs}}}

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jas, love the card from your folkes

Flame, did ya make it to school on time?

Macca have a great night out, I just booked dd1's party for 4th Nov (Tue I think I did it, and they were running out of slots up here, so I'd get it done asap if going for a play place)

Cripes what else have I read? oooh yeah

Happy Holidays Phoenix shame dh has to work tomorrow and at the inlaws visit being arranged by dh, they don't think sometimes do they?

Do you think we should start a new thread before Phoenix goes, so she can bookmark us?

So dh is now shaved and ready!! I've also nit lotioned him today, as got bored of combing his hair for half hour every night, bottle says I just need to do him again in 7 days So now I need to set about making a birthday cake for him, think I'm going with nigellas white chocolate one, its lovely, just so long as you get the mix right! sometimes it doesn't cook well enough in the middle for some reason? even when the instructions are followed to the letter!!

Frizbe · 13/09/2007 20:48

CSWS your right, the thread has gone? have popped a note on the beanie thread and will email her to check all ok.

Frizbe · 13/09/2007 21:04

Oh went to Chatsworth this afternoon, lovely time dd2 loved petting the guineapigs and goats, she even got to see one being milked!! dd1 was peturbed by the chickens round her ankles at lunch, but got used to it eventually, and I managed to get my dad's birthday prezzie too, so

Phoenix · 13/09/2007 21:37

Well i'm going on holiday anyway as all my clothes are packed

Dh is gonna be so tired tomorrow, he isn't home from work yet and has to be up at 4ish tomorrow to get to work for 5.

for bad night csws for nice weather.

Enjoy your night out Macca.

Did you get a skive mrm?

I'm guessing your dh is shaved and ready for the snip Frizbe? for nits though i've never had them and its something i'm dreading but then again i coped when the dog had fleas

Is anyone here?

Jas · 13/09/2007 22:05

I'm here again

Will you be around before you o away? If not, have a lovely holiday, Phoenix.

Frizbe - I've only had nits once as an adult (don't actually know if I had them as I was reyling on a7 yr old to check, but she definitely did). I went straight for the chemicals. No way was I combing them out and knowing I had things living in my hair.
It is mrm thinking about parties, btw.

dp said he has bought me something (whatever he could get in Tesos so I'm not too hopeful. I told him to get me a book.)He's not back from the pub yet, so I'll let you know tomorrow if he has managed anything I don't hate.

for no sleep, csws. I hope you enjoy your last day tomorrow.

Phoenix · 13/09/2007 22:13

I'll be on in the morning no doubt, until dh gets home from work anyway. Thank you though i'm sure we'll have a great time

Dh just got in and is going straight to bed.

damewashalot · 13/09/2007 22:20

Hello. just off to bed as shattered and slightly pissed such a light weight these days no idea what I've just read or what I was going to say, shall try not to go make babies (not that likely as dh ill and germy.)

should not drink then post on here.

happy birthday that's what i was going to say

night!

Jas · 13/09/2007 22:21

2boysmacca · 13/09/2007 23:31

I;m with you Dame! Ginight

2boysmacca · 13/09/2007 23:32

Oops

Phoenix · 14/09/2007 08:15

Any hangovers this morning, Dame, Macca???

Jas · 14/09/2007 08:29

I'm glad I haven't got a hangover....DD1 has croup (can an 8 yr old get croup, or do you call it something else in bigger kids, I wonder?)and dd2 has just been stung by a wasp.

I've had to rearrange my whole day, so I'll be here mostly, doing housework.

Phoenix · 14/09/2007 08:48

for both dd's Jas.

I'm dying my hair red again

damewashalot · 14/09/2007 11:24

No hangover had been trying out very nice lemon stuff db got from italy for my b'day, turns out is rather strong

No babies either

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/09/2007 12:22

Have a great holiday Phoenix (if I haven't already missed you).

Slightly better night here, but still up at 5:45am this morning.

Sadly there is cloud today, so not gone to beach yet. Have done majority of packing though, so will head off to beach, cloud or no cloud, once dd wakes up.

So what did dh come back with then Jas?

2boysmacca · 14/09/2007 13:02

Think it's laryngitis Jas.

No hangovr but extremely tired. How did I cope with less than 5 hours sleep this time last year?

Chloe55 · 14/09/2007 13:46

I was in bed for 8.30pm last night after drinking 1/2 bottle of wine (pretty quickly) and feeling quite drunk - I can normally polish off at least a bottle quite happily!! I too must be a light weight!

Been quite sad these past couple of days. My db has just told his lovely lovely gf that he doesn't want to be with her anymore - she has moved away from home to be with him (away from friends/family/job) - started a new life here and has only be living with him 6mths. We all went to Cyprus together and I had absolutely no idea he felt this way - they haven't argued in the 18mths they've been together but he says that is kinda the problem - no spark, he reckons they are more like good mates and he doesn't feel passion for her. She was very and very upset.

Problem is we were meant to be having a 'family protrait' tomorrow for my mum's 50th which we have obviously knocked on the head now but I feel awful coz mum paid for us to all go on holiday and we celebrated her birthday out there but we have nothing in the way of a present for her and it had been 2wks since her birthday Any ideas most welcome!

Hope the alckys had a good night.

Happy bday for yesterday Jas.

Have fun packing pg!

Enjoy your last day CSWS

Hi everyone else!

Frizbe · 14/09/2007 15:59

Ooo cripes Chloe I have no idea, poor bros gf or exgf

Jas, for the girls, what did you get from dh? was it mrm, oopse

Dame and Macca

Phoenix have a great hols!

So dh has had it done, is lying on the bed now, as is starting to feel a dull ache.....dd2 in bed napping, dd1 playing in her room gotta decide what to do with pork chops for tea and then go to get ss once the M1 clears, have arranged to pick him up at 7ish, as if I'm not up there by 3pm it just jams up and I don't want to sit in the car with hungry kids! may catch you all later I think, can't see dh being much company today!

Chloe55 · 14/09/2007 16:18

Ah, glad he isn't feeling too bad Frizbe and that the op went well.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/09/2007 20:19

Glad it went ok Friz. Hope he doesn't get too sore.

for family prob Chloe. No ideas off the top of my head for present, but could you not just have portrait without the exgf?

Just a quickie from me tonight. There's a glass of wine poured back at base with my name on it! (Plus more packing and cleaning no doubt ).

Flamesparrow · 14/09/2007 20:30

I was thinking just a portrait without her.

Brain fuzzy and head pounding so not taken much in. Awol period again. Not officially late yet though, am currently matching the longest time bar that weird one.

Oodles going on here, none of it interesting. HV thinks the school will pick up on it if DD has AS or any other issues The routine filled place where she can wear the same thing every day - yup, that'll be where her issues with change are most apparent!

Had DS weighed and measured, about 22lb, and the same sizes as the average 12 month old! I took him to get new shoes today as his trainers were feeling a bit snug... funny how size 5 trainers feel snug on size 6 feet . Any little guys still in size 5?

Phoenix · 14/09/2007 21:13

Right we're all packed and ready for an early set off in the morning

Flame size 5's would be a little snug.

Glad dh's op went well Friz hope he isn't too sore.

Did the clouds clear then csws? Enjoy your wine

for family probs chloe.

'See' you all when I get back

mustrunmore · 14/09/2007 21:38

I'm just on quick too, as Mum here!

We left size 5 feet behind long ago!

just sorted out my present boxes, and am all sorted for xmas and birthdays until March, apart from dh's pressies
