MRM {{{Hugs}}} to ds2, good job it missed him, scarey moment.....
I have yet to do the pruneing bit, might do it this weekend before family arrive for dh's birthday party sat (he'll be on drugs, stuck on the sofa after the snip, I think his bro is just coming to laugh at him) as we will still have the skip!

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 20:33

That sounds suspiciously like the skip and the snip are related somehow Dh has to take in his sample to thw hospital either tomorrow or Fridy, for the first of thew all clear tests(next 2 weeks later), so fingers crossed! Er, tell him not to be such a wuss; dh didnt have any sofa time! Had it done 5pm, local anasthetic lasted all evening, he had a bit of a wince during the night, then left for work 5.40am next day!

Frizbe · 12/09/2007 20:45

Just did, he's saying he wants a medal for having his balls cut off

Jas · 12/09/2007 20:45

I had to read that post a couple of times, too Frizbe.

DP has forgotten my birthday

I'm going to open the wine and eat a muffin.

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 21:16

I'm sure it'll be adouble bluff to put you off the scent jas Er, if its any consolation, I missed our gettimg-together anniversary this year, which I always tell dh is more important than the wedding one And I only remeberd the wedding noe because my Dad phoned up to check the date!

Jas · 12/09/2007 21:34

No double bluff. I asked him to buy a card for the girls to give me this evening and he asked who for.

At least we don't have anniversaries to forget as well.

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 21:40

Men Dont worry, we love you Just that I dont spend anytime on facebook to find out these things. (Dont you even have a first shag anniversary like us?!)

2boysmacca · 12/09/2007 21:43
Grin
Jas · 12/09/2007 21:50

Not something I would remember, but probably about 12 years!

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 22:00

Meant to say to you; ds1 has started talking about his birthday already (November), aand has expressed a particular desire to invite your girls! I'm in denial at the mo, as its not feasible to have a do at home now, as his friends are just too big and messy! So thinknig either chrch hall(requires effort re decorations and entertainment) or Clown Town (more expensive, less hygenic, but easier for me!)

Phoenix · 12/09/2007 22:04

Evening

Glad you had a good holiday Chloe

for dp not remembering Jas. I noticed it was your birthday on Facebook too

Thanks for the freebie link Jas. I sent for 1 English, 1 Maths (one to my house one to my mums) either to hang onto for Lewis or give to a friend i haven't decided yet.

I've finished work for the rest of this week and all next week We're off to Cornwall on Saturday for the week. I can't wait, we just need to get packed. I've got loads to sort before we go i just don't know when i'll find time to pack.

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 22:10

Nah, just bung some stuff in a bag the night before Whereabouts in Cornwall?

Why hasnt Facebook got me hooked? It all seems a bit fruitless;what am I missing?

Phoenix · 12/09/2007 22:15

mrm - here We went there last year in October. It's about 10-15mins away from Newquay. I loved Cornwall last year (1st time i'd been) so really looking forward to it

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 22:28

Looks alot nicer than Pontins was! Did notice they felt the need to list laundrette with a capital 'L' Its obviously a highlight! Play area looks nice, as does the pool. Are you driving there? Its a long way for you, isnt it? Thats pretty clost to Heligan too; you must go; its one of my favourite places ever, once you read up on the history of it a bit

Phoenix · 12/09/2007 22:40

Yes driving we'll share it between us though and i've borrowed a car dvd thingy to try occupy Lewis on the drive. It's about 6-7 hour journey.

mustrunmore · 12/09/2007 22:43

God, I reember some long ones like that when I was little! Used to take us about 5-6 hours to get to Grandma's in Kent, and we always had to drive overnight because Dad said so, then he and Mum would argue about him being to otired at the wheel

Phoenix · 12/09/2007 22:48

The cheap apartment that we stayed in last year (£90 for the week) wasn't that good it smelt damp and foisty and Lewis' formula milk powder was all clumped together and damp too. And in the cheap apartments pets can stay (we didn't take our own dog) and the floors were covered in hair so everytime Lew dropped his dummy we had to wash it. We're staying in different ones this time. Last year was Chase Apartments, this time it's Manor Bungalows so hopefully they'll be a bit better but they are still way cheaper than cottages in Cornwall and it's only a base cos hopefully the weather will stay nice and we'll be out all day every day

Jas · 13/09/2007 06:43

Morning

DP managed cards for me this morning I may even get flowers later
Mum and dad sent this which made me smile too.

Phoenix...I hope the weather stays good for you (as I look out at the fog this morning). DP always wants to go to Cornwall and I've always said no because of the drive. (It took us about the same time to get to Paris last month)

mrm - I never look at facebook, either.
If you do want Clowntown for ds1s birthday you should check with them now. My neighbour has just booked our local one for her sons 5th on the 1st December and there was only one slot left!

Flamesparrow · 13/09/2007 08:02

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAS!!!

Thanks Friz

I have got 2 of the books and emailed my sister to send to as many addresses she can find too

Eek - didn't notice the time, have done sod all getting ready for school and have now forgotten everything I wanted to reply to

New nappies comin in stock and all excited again I get excited easily.... I think I may have scared the woman with my enthusiasm

Phoenix · 13/09/2007 08:31

Happy Birthday Jas

We're going to soft play this morning then i need to go shopping for my mums birthday pressie this afternoon. I'm getting her a new handbag i think cos Lewis is going through a handbag phase and has dragged hers round the garden and put holes in it Then i'm going to the hospital to see my friends dd who is back in hospital again . So i'm gonna be busy all day. I need to squeeze a bit of packing in somewhere too.

mustrunmore · 13/09/2007 11:54

Yeah, happy birthday; glad you got cards

Dh is off work today, so i'm hoping to fit in a bit of a skive somewhere along the line

Phoenix · 13/09/2007 18:47

Dh has just rung up from work. One of his colleague's wife's dad has died () so he isn't going into work tomorrow and out of the all the others dh is the only person available to work. He could turn it down but we also really need the money so he's going in 5am to 10am. I guess i'll be doing all the packing myself then.

He's also just decided to tell me that he's told his mum we'll go see them tomorrow before we go on holiday. Like we haven't got enough to do already We're so unorganised

Right In The Night Garden is nearly finished so it's bedtime for Lew then i might make a little start on the packing I'll be back later if anyone's around

2boysmacca · 13/09/2007 18:58

not me, out with the girls tonight!

Jas · 13/09/2007 19:12

I'll be here

Jas · 13/09/2007 19:14

Have a good night out, macca
