Well its one year exactly (hopefully ) since I started the first Due April 2007 ante natal thread. How life has changed in that year, for the better on the whole!

It makes me quite nostalgic to be doing this, as it means it is a full year since finding out I was pregnant with Ffion.

I would like to thank all the ladies on the April 2007 thread for all your support, laughter and general madness which has kept me going on many a rubbish day!! You are an amazing bunch of people and I am really pleased to have shared this journey with you all.

Here's to another fun filled year!!!!!!!

Weeonion, hope that your boobies are getting better. we have finally managed to clear our thrush - hurray

Katy, although all babies are different I think that the introduction of solids is a fairly normal time for them to start sleeping through the night

normabutty · 24/07/2007 10:21

geordiemacminx · 24/07/2007 10:44

i did a test at 4 am the day we moved into our new house.... couldnt wait any longer, dp told me to "go back to blo0dy sleepb you crazy woman"

mammyjoMcGonagall · 24/07/2007 11:44

Morning!! Its a gorgeous day here toady (not before time!) so have been out to town to do boring things like go to the bank before the rain comes back tomorrow (boo)! Much easier to cart two children in the dry weather than in the wet!

Lucius, at you finishing HP too! I was up until half eleven reading last night. Am now about two thirds of the way through and am finding it pretty scary!! I am a bit of a wet blanket when it comes to scary stuff, dont know if I could see that film when it comes out!!

Maveta, enjoy your play date!!

Octo, hope your mil is doing ok today. Terrible news to have to cope with. Hope you and your dh are coping ok.

WO, good to hear from you. Hope the boobie is improving.

Katy, F was sleeping through the night from early but now she doesnt. Last night only woke for one feed, the night before three feeds. I am giving her baby rice for tea tonight. She is 17 weeks tomorrow so I think I am allowed!!!

Have a good day all xx

Haven't have much time to catch up, but hello!!

Kneehighinnappies · 24/07/2007 11:54

I am so naughty I have been neglecting you lot and sodding round on facebook, I can't help it it is far to addictive.
So today I am going to spend some quality time with you lot, as I am sure you have all been missing me

It is official both Lola and Zed are on formula now I just couldn't jeep up the Bf anymore and they were beginning to get really unsettled so formula seemed the right way to go.
I am a little sad about stopping but at the same time I can't believe I kept it up for as long as I have.

Now I just have to seperate them at night and see if they can sleeep through.

JoMa · 24/07/2007 12:02

oi kneehigh answer my email you minx

Kneehighinnappies · 24/07/2007 12:07

bumble75 · 24/07/2007 12:19

Afternoon all,

Octo, so sorry to hear about your MIL, hope you and dh are doing ok.

Maveta, hope your meet up goes well.

So at dh - specifically asked him NOT to go to work this mornng with car seat still in his car... so of course he did and our trip into town to enjoy sunshine well and truly scuppered... grrrrr.

My brain has gone mush so sorry to everyone I've missed...

xx

elkiedee · 24/07/2007 12:19

KHIN I'm very impressed in your circumstances that you kept up bf for several months and managed to find time for mumsnet and getting hooked on Facebook!

geordiemacminx · 24/07/2007 12:22

[rolls around on the floor pissing herself, tears streaming out of my eyes]

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 24/07/2007 12:28

are they michael jackson now then

How the hell do you say the 2nd bit?

geordiemacminx · 24/07/2007 12:31

No idea - but it is a cross between his mums name - Thea and her um - Amy, they have added 2 ii's and an accent above the a to make it more "exotic"

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 24/07/2007 12:35

nice!!! mabe it's pronounced 't''amy'? bit silly though!

Off to add some more letters and things to my dc's names to make them more ex-zo-ic

is it me or does she sound a little like waynette slob with spud-u-like

Pinions · 24/07/2007 12:42

Still not had a chance to catch up on goss but just to say

Ellie, Joe and Matthew show to have a GREAT time at the land of Dippyville on Sea.

Really .

You get about a bit Ellie!

Hope everyone else is fine too xxx

Pinions · 24/07/2007 12:43

Katy, GMM looks like last minute hol is off so no trip to Durham for now!!!

mammyjoMcGonagall · 24/07/2007 13:28

Interesting name Poor little girl has to live with that, at least until she could legally change it. Poor little thing. Seems like a bit of a thing with celebrities to pick a more weird name than anyone else. Personally I am happy with Ffion for my little girl!

If T was named after our dads he'd be called NeilMike or MikeNeil - both still manage to sound old fashioned

Pesha · 24/07/2007 13:57
