Well its one year exactly (hopefully ) since I started the first Due April 2007 ante natal thread. How life has changed in that year, for the better on the whole!

It makes me quite nostalgic to be doing this, as it means it is a full year since finding out I was pregnant with Ffion.

I would like to thank all the ladies on the April 2007 thread for all your support, laughter and general madness which has kept me going on many a rubbish day!! You are an amazing bunch of people and I am really pleased to have shared this journey with you all.

Here's to another fun filled year!!!!!!!

Blimey that's the fastest thread catch up ever. Where is everyone?

Having rubbish day with George, he's really whingey and clingy again. All he wants to do is sleep and feed, but he doesn't want me to be more than 10cms away from him. If I leave him and he wakes up alone he screams bloody murder. He hasn't got a temperature but is chewing like crazy on his hands and dribbling loads, he doesn't seem to be in pain either. Last night he slept 9pm-11.20 then 11.50-1.30, 1.45-3am then woke at 4,5,6,7,8am for feeds. I am knackered!

I'm sure he's teething, but wonder if he's hungry with the night waking. Maybe it's time to get the baby rice out. What do you guys think?

Book swap thread sounds good to me too

Katy44 · 26/07/2007 16:02

I'm on a controversial thread about washing up
Leaky, can I send you the email - it asks you to send one book to the person on the list

Katy44 · 26/07/2007 16:03

Your night sounds awful - hope tonight is better
I don;t think I had one that bad even when T was a new born

leakyR · 26/07/2007 16:06

By the way KHIN at 11 year old with beer. My 12 year old cousin is allowed an occasional (very watered down with orange) bucks fizz if we are celebrating but can't imagine her mam allowing her to guzzle beer.

I did the teenage drinking thing but I was about 14 when I first tried it and my parents didn't allow me to drink until I was over 16.

Grizzler is awake.

Bye for now!

leakyR · 26/07/2007 16:07

Ok then katy.Doesn't sound too sinister.
really must go now.

Katy44 · 26/07/2007 16:09

ahaaaa
[sinister laugh]

geordiemacminx · 26/07/2007 16:33

geordiemacminx · 26/07/2007 16:43

We had a lovely time, it was dp's birthday yesterday. Went to Anfield, had a wee walk around the town centre then out for a meal last night. Charlie has been a little angel bless him.

You still up for coffee on tuesday?

Katy44 · 26/07/2007 16:49

Yes, except I'm at Bumps n Babies in the morning, can we make it afternoon or are you busy then? If not I can leave early to meet you.

Pinions · 26/07/2007 17:53

Bumps and babies, I guess yours is the baby and not the bump then.

GMM I used to live in Anfield, right next to the Cop/Kop however you spell it.

Pinions · 26/07/2007 17:54

normabutty · 26/07/2007 18:46

Maybe its me but do things like this seem a little strange. Also theres a ladylush on there, wasn't she at some point on out due in april thead. Bizarre.

Pinions · 26/07/2007 19:32

Why is it that when you are trying to find sth you always seem to get sidetracked, well I do anyway. .

Er is anyone taking the mini-pill and have had problems, weight gain etc??? Not sth that I have taken before, but it is the only one doc would give due to BF?

geordiemacminx · 26/07/2007 19:51

Nutty - I was going to buy Erin a wee door plaque or something but they didnt have her name... didnt have Charlie either

Pinions - does that mean you are a red too?Not on the mini-pill, have been starting to think about contraception... before we have any accidents, had thought about it but I'm not very good at remembering.... thinking about coil or something instead.

normabutty · 26/07/2007 20:02

Aww GMM that's so sweet! Shame they didn't have their names tho...maybe we should do a meet-up at a match sometime!!???

geordiemacminx · 26/07/2007 20:09

To be honest they didnt have very much in the shop..... Dp's best mate has bought C the new liverpool kit 6-9 months though so it'll be a while before he can wear it. I can email you a couple of pics from the museum if you like? European cup etc?

Yeah sounds good!! The question is could you persuade your dh to come to Anfield???

normabutty · 26/07/2007 20:13

Yeah, I could persuade him ...pics would be fab! Can you do the tour on match days do you know?

WestCountryLass · 26/07/2007 20:14

First day of the school holidays, took the kids out on their scooters in the rain!

Leo been very grizzly today, DD has got tummy bug though so maybe he is coming down with that, but he does have a very sore neck from dribbling constantly so bought him some dribbly baby Tommee Tippee bibs so will see if they help clear it up (along with creaming and everything).

Off camping on Monday, please, PLEASE, let the rain subside!!!

Pinions · 26/07/2007 20:17

OK girls. I used to live in the st right next to the pub on the corner, cannot remember the name exactly.

You could hear the match when it was on. No GMM sadly not a red, red wine maybe but not a red. Never have really been into football am afraid. Going out, shopping, MN but not football!!!

To say the stadium was massive the area was pretty quiet TBH.

oooggs · 26/07/2007 20:25

hi all - hope you have had a good day

wcl - where are you going camping

not into football here either

Octo is lovely
