Wouldnt want to be around your brother if he has eaten all those eggs. Windy bottom methinks!!

Got on facebook and registered. Hello to my new friends!! Have no idea how I did that, got a page up with all the contact email people registered on facebook then lost it. My brain is not equipped for anything so technical at this time of day (or any for that matter). Getting too old for technology!

AngeG · 18/07/2007 21:27

Ellie...to be fair I don't use it that much.

JoMa · 18/07/2007 21:27

he hasn't eaten them, he's sold them

i pay for the chicken feed, he takes the eggs. fair? i think not!

Katy44 · 18/07/2007 21:40

octo, sorry to hear about your MIL's infection, hope it clears soon. Well done to your ds for his report
Ellie, LOL at the non-frosted glass, that's just the kind of thing I'd do!

WestCountryLass · 18/07/2007 21:56

Octo, my DSs report was the same average but well behaved and that is all I can ask for so I am a proud Mummy too

DS1 went to friends this evening and was nice to have time with DD as Leo was sleeping

Leo still being a dream baby, he has started making noises and it is soooo sweet watching and listening to him trying to communicate. He looks quite shocked when he makes a loud noise, he is quite a quiet baby. He is loving his hands at the moment, sucks on them all day. I caught him staring at his feet today and don't think it will be long before they make it to his mouth. His current favourite activity is doing sit ups in his car seat, he holds on to the seat belt that goes across his seat and pulls himself forward.

DH was paid for 4.5 days overtime which isa bonus and we are hoping to book to go here if the weather perks up:

Well done both of your ds for good reports.

Norma - can't think of anything easy for HP costume. Apart from the obvious witch/wizard thing.

JoMa your facebook "friend" Andrew is lucky you're still friends is all I can say!

Off to bed. Still shattered from my little bro crashing here last night.

Goodnight.

elkiedee · 18/07/2007 23:54

Hi all,

congratulations Ellie on the job, 30 July doesn't seem far away, hope it all goes really well.

I tried joining Facebook with my real email address and never received confirmation, so have tried using my yahoo one on webmail earlier today and that worked. So will be trying to find mumsnet people but may not be for a few days, as I'll be offline tomorrow to Saturday, and usually only get to use this computer late at night if at all.

Can't remember much else as I read the thread hours ago. Goodnight!

Birdiemum · 19/07/2007 00:08

Hello to all my old friends - it's been a long time I know. I have not even attempted to catch up so I hope everyone is doing well and all of your babies are happy and healthy.

Rose is lovely and has slept through the night from six weeks but is now making up for it by staying awake all day.

Could I request that I get taken off all the email lists for now please? We are having a bit of a stressful time at the moment, downsizing because of money problems and moving to another town and everytime I see the emails I feel guilty that I just don't have the time or the energy (tbh!) for MN right now. I will be back I hope in a few months but for now I just want some peace IYSWIM. I hope that's ok and doesn't offend anyone - it certainly isn't meant to! Keep on keeping on the lot of you and I will be back in a clearer frame of mind hopefully this autumn.

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 07:15
