Well I´m feeling pretty envious of all of your rain now. Quite fancy a couple of rainy days sitting in the house watching dvds from the sofa..

.. oh wait, yes that was my pre-child life..

Would still like some rain, anyone want to swap?

Afternoon

WO - well done for sticking with BF in spite of stupid nurses and all that pain. You are a supermammy.I hope it gets better soon.

CD - hope your nips have recovered. LOL at Dyson image.

Katy have a good weekend.

Pinions - liked the pic, he looks how I feel. Also glad you've sorted out problems with neighbours.

Maveta- i think most of us would happily swap weather with you!

Actually we've been quite lucky with weather today. We went to Cragside this afternoon. The grounds aren't really baby friendly (bit rocky/rugged) but the house is lovely and really interesting.
DH off to play golf soon but i can't complain as i escaped for a haircut this morning. It was desperately needed, haven't had it cut since end of March Gone quite short as G's new thing is to grab hair and hang on for dear life. Also in theory it should be quicker and easier to dry/style we'll see if it works in practise.I imagine I'll be looking like Worzel Gummidge again in a couple of days.

Evening all

MIL moved into a general ward but fil doesn't think she seems any better.

My sister has now gone to my parents and is working/staying in london next week - has been lovely having her. went into Bath today and had lunch - I paid for her to have a pedicure as a bday pressie.

DS1 at school disco

DS2 had last official day at preschool today - but has 3 days booked in holiday club so will say farewells then - his key worker was so sweet and his report is lovely.

WO - hope you feel better soon and enjoy time away. Did you want me to hold onto the wraps - I did email you back but think may have missed you.

I am making jamies maryland chicken with chips for tea - yummy!!!!! My tummy is really starting to rumble

Just waiting for dh to return with the wine ... hmmm - have had wine every night this week! I need to drink less wine and tea and eat less chocolate

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxxxx

Evening ladies

Been really busy here. Had some lovely day trips and have seen about half of Scotland in the last week. I had forgotten just how gorgeous it is. Enjoyed evry minute of it, well apart from getting stuck in the traffic from the golf with a howling baby

WO, hope that you are feeling better that sounded so painful. You have battled through so much with bf and are an absolute star.

Octo, v.sorry to hear about your Mil and hope that she makes a good recovery - very stressful for you.

Bramshott, have finally posted the dresses for you

Mind has now gone blank.....

I was just in Tesco and they had the Harry Potter book stand up with no books in it yet. Told them that they were mean for teasing me

Have a good weekend all!

Lucious - my dh is the manager of a store and he has all the HP books locked away in his store-room ready to go out first thing tomorrow morning. I asked him if he'd taken a peak at them and he says they're not allowed to open the boxes until tomorrow. Apparently the Ministry of Magic will give him frog's legs if he opens the boxes early.

Em has gone to bed with a witch's hat on and is planning to spend all day tomorrow dressed as a witch. Bless. Such a shame she's too young to see the film.

Mean Tesco teasing you with empty stands Lucius!

L was dream baby today in office - screamed in office to disturb nasty people I work with then slept through lunch so I got to have good chat/gossip/bitch with my pals, one of whom insisted I join facebook which I did this afternoon so if anyone has random request from strange lady, is possibly from me... .

Visit with MIL was ok, she is lovely really and weeded half our garden for us (I don't really do gardens...). But made random comment in the middle of gardening 'You'll find it hard to leave L and go back to work' - completely out of the blue, no related to anything we'd been talking about and not said as question, rather as statement of fact... bizarre!

Have a good weekend all, I'm off to bed.
xx

Eca -don't read the last page first it will spoil it and it's a BIG book to get through already knowing the end. Seriously how long will it take you to read? Not that long surely!

Sorry feel very strongly that I don't want to know the end until I've read it

Hello. Norma, hope you feel ok. Shame you missed the party but at least you still get your book. Will be into town first thing tomorrow to get mine. I wont be reading the end first, cant do it! Please please if any of you get to the end before me (which you probably will) can you give me warning if you are going to post about it please! I really want to find out what happens as I read so am hoping I dont hear it on TV or read it in the paper first!! V. excited!!(I know I am a saddo!).

WO, hope things are a little better today. You are doing such an amazing job. To call you selfish just beggers belief. Not only are their comments unacceptable, they are also extremely unprofessional. Thank goodness you were confident enough to stand up to them. Take care xx
