Thats why we had a roof box!

Ooogs - nathan goes to a playschool so is just open in term times. Playschool gave us their folder and their own hats and bottles back which had been kept there permanently. Said to a friend I dont want him to leave and tried to do a little laugh but it came out much to loud and high pitched I really could have cried

emails - there are lots of problema with hotmail users sending to yahoo, I have both accounts, same beginning, then hotmail.com or yahoo.co.uk, so if you are needing to get something thru try sending it to my hotmail one, and I can call Dippy with your address mammyjo so maybe try sending it to my hotmail?

Hello. Ellie I have just sent an email to your hotmail address.

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 13:55

Right, I need your HELP
I've added 3 photos to my profile, possible outfits for the "smart/casual" three course meal following the champagne reception on Saturday (guessing the emphasis is on "smart")
Do I wear my long grey skirt or my knee length black skirt (which is a suit skirt so fairly smart)?
The long grey one doesn't have vertical lines running down it, that must be a result ofg the flash which also handily covers my face!
The long grey one feels like it's cutting me in half slightly, the other one doesn't. I think the black one is more flattering on my large tummy and hips, but the grey one is more "evening-wear smart" iyswim.
ANd that's before I even ask which top.
And then I have to wear tights

JoMa · 19/07/2007 13:57

don't wear tights Katy, hold-ups are sooooo much more comfortable

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 13:58

yes, don't worry the socks will go and I'll even shave my legs

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 13:58

so you think long skirt?
hold ups always end up round my ankles norma batty style

JoMa · 19/07/2007 13:58

erm, they're too dark to show up

you need to go for whichever you are more comfortable in (or go shopping )

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 13:59

And I only have flat shoes
Well I have heels but cant drive or even walk in them

JoMa · 19/07/2007 13:59

really? I've never had problems with them, I mean hold ups like stockings. I get mine from Primark, £2 a pair!

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 13:59

The pictures? They looked OK to me, hang on...

JoMa · 19/07/2007 14:00

not walking could be an issue, best stick wth the flats! couldn't you wear trouusers and a glam top?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:01

No time to go shopping and no Primarkk in 25 miles!
Am going shopping tonight where there's a boots, might have a look in there, would much rather wear hold ups than tights you're right. They remind me of school - 100 denier dark blue ones with runs in! Was like wearing a wetsuit!

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:01

Is that smart casual though?
Don't really have glam tops
Trousers would be lovely though...

JoMa · 19/07/2007 14:02

i do worry about you sometimes Katy

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:02

Might go and look through my trousers to see if I have ANYTHING that would do

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:02

I'm not looking forward to this weekend

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:03

The pictures are a bit dark but you can kind of see...or do i just know what I'm looking at?

JoMa · 19/07/2007 14:03

off course trousers is smart/cas, the guys at work take smart/cas to mean jeans and a smart shirt

OP posts:
JoMa · 19/07/2007 14:05

you know what you're looking at is the black one shorter?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:05

New work or old?

Well I have a black trouser suit (interview one) could wear that, would be much more comfortable
And I'll iron a maternity top
Suit jacket or no? Do you think it'll look like I'm trying to get a job??

Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:05

yes, knee length

JoMa · 19/07/2007 14:16

trouser suit sounds good, jcket if it's cold, not if it's warm. sparkly necklace and earrings, things to liven it up and stop it being work like

OP posts:
Katy44 · 19/07/2007 14:18
