Daisy, isn't that one of the up sides to having children? That and the child benefit...

Did you get a Bounty pack when you had your babies? I thought we were given one (because it has the Child Benefit forms in!!!)

trendaverter · 19/07/2007 15:37

JBM personally I prefer Lucy as people might pronounce the 'cie' as 'chee' (you know, like italian?)

but you know I am rubbish with names so I think you should go with what you like best.

Lucy is a lovely name tho, on our shortlist if we had a girl!

Jamantha · 19/07/2007 15:38

Bumper, that was me yesterday (apart from the garden bit). Feel much better today though. Remember you WILL have better days. I promise.

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 15:38

Jamantha - think of it as giving your lo some Vitamin D

LOL at Gold Top Norks!!

justbeme · 19/07/2007 15:41

I think we'll prob stick with Lucy then -
we hesitated on this name as it was number 8 most popular in Uk last year - but my MW has just told me that she's not known any to be born round here for a while - so thats comforting!

Wow Jamantha - I havent even driven yet - you're very brave - what part of the uk do you live in?

I had to grab a Bounty Pack on the way out of the hospital (missed the photo) but apparently your comm MW can get you one if you missed out.

Jamantha · 19/07/2007 15:41

That makes me feel more and less foxy - as long as she doesn't actually go of course. Thing is I've worked for years now in places where "sun sense" is promoted and now feel rather guilty if accidentally caught out.

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/07/2007 15:43

yes got the bounty pack(s) and yes the form was in it. lilkel posted a link way back at the beginning of the first PN thread for an online application. I'll dig it out!

Which reminds me i must get it sent off...it'll be a nice wee amount for holiday spending money

If anyone hasn't applied yet, they only back-date it for 3 months so get it in!

bumperlicious · 19/07/2007 15:46

foxy are you gina fording me?

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 15:51

Shhhhh, baby whispering you actually!

If I was GF'ing you it would be:

15.50 Stop right now!
15.55 Pull yourself together!
16.00 Have a cup of tea and biscuit

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 15:51

Daisy, did you get my email? Just got a delivery failure notice

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/07/2007 16:00

no foxy i didn't....but did you send it to daisybump @.....?

bumper...sorry you're having a bad day hun...we were like that yesterday

today she has mostly slept, so maybe out and about is the way to go!

bumperlicious · 19/07/2007 16:04

ok 16.05 go to waitrose to buy apple pie and ice cream

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 16:05

yes, it was a server problem, like you said. Will try again.

Eurgh, its catching up with me. DD is asleep, but I was expecting the others back so didn't go for a sleep. Obviously DP has taken them for a run around. Wish he'd told me. Oh well.

She's beautiful. I am smitten.

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 16:06

I find that because I can't eat chocolate, as I automatically would, there's a whole world of sweet treats to explore! Am big on jelly babies at the moment and Sainsburys TTD Oat Cookies. Yummmmmm.

justbeme · 19/07/2007 16:12

why cant you eat chocolate Foxy?

foxybrown · 19/07/2007 16:22

gives mine wind.

As did the chilli in the fajitas I ate the other night (oops!)

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/07/2007 16:38

is derlor still about?

i've just noticed that DDs fontanelle seems quite depressed. she can't be dehydrated can she? although she's been asleep a lot, she's fed lots too and she fed enough to sink a small battleship yesterday.

feeling very neglectful for just noticing, but she's got that much hair you can't see it, it was only when i stroked her head that i noticed.

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/07/2007 16:41

american hard gums for me foxy...yummmm

Jamantha · 19/07/2007 17:00

you prompted me to look at DD's head - and confess had to look up where the fonatelle is as not been told these things - and i think she might be dehydrated as it is a little sunken. might explain why she has wanted to feed almost non stop the past hour or so? Feel VERY now

andiem · 19/07/2007 17:34

as long as they are weeing and pooing don't worry too much about the fontanelle it usually has a slight dip in it

sputnik · 19/07/2007 17:40

Just checking in to let you all know I'm still here, no way do I have time to catch up on evereything, but belated congratulations to Foxy

Baby Sputnik has put on 1.5kg over his birthweight in 5 weeks!

Got my folks here for the week, DD's birthday etc. so catch up with you all in a few days.

bumperlicious · 19/07/2007 18:13

Hi sputnik, glad you are ok. You sound like you have lots to occupy you!

DH is home and has rescued DD from her stressed and impatient mummmy Poor lamb, it's not her fault. Will feel better after some apple pie and icecream!

Have got the book...

daisyandbabybootoo · 19/07/2007 18:34
