Lol at baby shrek! He looks so cute in his bumbo chair. Put F in hers for the first time the other day. She looks mad, too small to be sitting up IYKWIM!

they do look well odd, i bought it at a sale while i was pg and forgot i had it!

finally remembered today and thought we'd give it a try, will stop me worrying about him falling off the sofa, or matthew standing on him if he's lying on the floor

Leo had a terrible day yesterday. I ate a load of garlic, which I have avoided since he was tiny, and he had terrible wind and colicky pains afterwards. Poor little mite sounded like a pig being slaughtered last night

Much better today! We went to DS1s school summer fair this morning and the sun shone for us. Afterwards we went to an open day one of my husbands customers was having and I had the nicest cakes I have ever had, ever (a chocolate tart with fresh cherries in it, a plum tart, some sort of chocolatey biscuit cake slice and more....).

Still want to know whether you've hit the jackpot Octo!!!! And was wondering if you fancied going to Westonbirt in the summer if the weather is nice?

Evening lovelies. Another chatty day!

Octo, hope you are ok. Looking forward to hearing of news next week.

Maveta, glad yu had a good night out and that N was such a good boy sleeping so long.

WO, Ikwym about going out/seeing friends who have no children. They really have no clue what it is like. Dh's friends are the worst.

JoMa, hope you are ok, and as someone said, the best and biggest smiles are always for Mummy. x

Anewme, really sorry that you are having such a rough time of it. Hope you can get the support you need, and of course you have the lovely April Mummies too.

Eca, pmsl at the MAGIC PANTS! I love that Gok Wan!

Had a great day today. Went to visit my 92 year old gran. Sadly she has lots of ailments and she was in quite a lot of pain which made me sad, but she enjoyed seeing us and we enjoyed seeing her.

Off to bed soon, although have just eaten delicious crispy peking duck and veggie spring rolls! A night of indigestion methinks.

Hope everyone is ok.
xx

Hi all from Ilkley, we've had a lovely few days here but tomorrow it's back to London and such reality as I have at the moment. Not that I can really moan, we're back up to civilisation again in less than 2 weeks. Danny met my stepdad, Andy, and Andy's wife, Jean (yep, my family is insanely complicated) this morning, and my brother Gareth and Gareth's girlfriend Elaine this evening. Gareth threatened to take Danny home with him.

My ipod appears to have died on Thursday morning, after threatening several times in less than 9 months - and it's a replacement for one which died after 6 months. We still have Mike's but it doesn't have as much space on it.

Ellie, beautiful photo of your baby, and an impressive look of concentration. Does he have a favourite player yet?
