JoMa - I'll get them for you

Have started a thread about teeth - need zazas or someone here- ds1 lost his first tooth about 3 weeks ago and the new one has grown through at right angles to his gum and the one next to it is wobbly and there is a tooth growing up behind it lower down in his gum - really freaked me out - am going to ring dentist on monday - but does anyone have any experience of this? My cousin is a dentist - may ring him tomorrow!

Yeah and stick pins in his pelvis and saw off his legs so he gets spd and feed him vile mouldy food so he heaves and yaks every few hours.

aboslutely to the nappies - no problem - just let me know what you want - you can have everything individual or you can have daysets, the rucksack or a hamper. Have a look on the onelifeworld website and let me know - can do you a deal.

I also forgot about the weeing thing - would have to make sure he gets a few urine infections too and swollen ankles.

Oh thank goodness - will still take him to dentist - last time there was that huge meltdown - do you remember when he gave one of them a mug and the other a tiny rubber? He hasn't forgotten so may have to go armed with a few goodies!

good morning folks. up early expressing.
octo - hope it goes ok today / this weekend when u do the test.
maveta - a good night out??
leaky - hope teh packing of the car with buuba, bubba's stuff and inlaws went ok! i am heading off to ireland or amonth and am dreading the packing up. caoimhe will be there in all her finery for the "tour" and i will have room for nought in the car for teh whole trip!

luce - hello to you. am on my meds but to be honest - no ease as yet! went to bf specialist agin - she thinks it might actually be my letdown and supply??? think bf has only another few weeks in our lives as it seems we get one thing resloved and something else comes along. ihave decided that when that happens - i will donate my milk for a week so as something positive comes out of the ending. anyhow - hope we can meet up when i get back from irealnd? maybe you coudl hop on a train through to g'go to see teh sights??

we have visitors here this weekend. it s funny how they just dont "get" how our lives have changed. they wanted us to go out last night - "can you not just park the baby in the corner of the pub!" - hmmm - NO!! they also dont get it that she whimpers / winges to have a need met - " why is she gurning again" - ahem - she actually hsnt let a peep out for 2.5 hrs! they just couldnt accept that i am choosing not to drink while bf - and kept insisting that i no tbe rude and join them for wine (which pre-bubba would have meant a couple of bottles for me!!). it made me rally atthe distance between us / them and also - whatever happened to my old life/ old me?? - oh yes - a baby!!!

Morning everyone! WO - sorry to hear it´s still pretty up and down for you, you know you have my every sympathy and admiration for keeping it up. You´ve done so well and if you do decide at any point to stop you know you´ve given it your all. I know what you mean about distance between friends.. I felt it when my best girlfriends started having babies and it wasn´t even on my radar.. I really felt the gap between us but now it´s closed again so hopefully someday they´ll join you in parenthood?? Or maybe at least as more and more of their friends become parents, they´ll start to understand better..

LOL @ Pinions and your ! Last night was nice, was great to be out of the house but obviously not quite like nights out used to be, I still find it hard to completely relax when I´m out, kind of clock watching and counting how much time I have left. Also after a few glasses I remembered that we co sleep and so even if I´ve expressed etc. I still shouldn´t be drunk if I´m going to have the baby in bed with me.. so that was playing on my mind.. in the end I was mildly tipsy at best. We picked N up from Mum´s sleeping in his pram, walked him home, dh put the whole carry cot inside the cotbed with N still sleeping where he stayed until 6.30am!! I LOVE YOU BABY!!

I´ll get better at the whole ´letting my hair down´thing the more confident I become, I´m sure. Like, I could have just slept in the spare room FGS if I was so drunk and N ended up in our bed (was obviously tipsy enough not to think of that!) but you know, baby steps, baby steps.. they´re still really little. It was great to see my friends but I also had a bit of a moment where I really felt how much our lives had changed. Not really in a bad way, just really conscious of it.

Octo - you big wuss! Good luck for when you do do it...

Okay N whinging, better dash... hope you all have a fab day! FIL coming over in an hour or so to give us his present to N - a Maclaren Quest Sport.. YAY! Can´t wait for him to be able to go in it, we practically have to dismantle the bugaboo to get it into the car so will be nice to just chuck the buggy in and go. Then at 2pm we´ve been invited to another Paella in the country and I guess I´ll try and get dh to agree to go to the pool this p.m. Think I´m going to have to invest in some fake tan.. hardly ever go in the sun (cos of N) and when we do go to the pool it´s like at 7pm and we stay in the shade.. Bah. Not a big sunbather anyway..

Lol maveta and weeonion.

Your priorities change after having a baby.

I used to have a uni friend and all we used to do was party. She would still have just wanted to party all hours after ds1 was born so it was no good and I knew that.

So don't worry go with what feels right for you x

Pinions- yeah, you´re right.. it´s just weird kind of realising it, you know? Like we sit here night after night in front of the tv, dying to go out and have a taste of our ´old life´ and then when we´re out it´s just not the same.. I´ve had a much better time lately the couple of times we´ve gone out (day or night really) with N and maybe had a couple of beers with friends..or if they´ve come here..

Dh is just cleaning the bathrooms.. gotta love him...

footnote to earlier post.. how is it that ALL WEEK N has woken every 3 hours and only settled in our bed yet last night slept from 11.30pm- 6.30am in his carrycot?? Hmmmm? HMMMMMM? I knew it, we´re crap/lax/pushover parents already

Morning ladies - have gone for the weaning thing - gave ernie banana sunshine breakfast - he looked at me a bit funny but when realised it was going into his tummy he ate loads I am pleased that have decided to go down this route and continue to breastfeed with it than change to formula.

Last night I fed him at 5.30, 7, 7.30 - dh gave hime formula at 8, then I bf him 12, 2.30, 5.30 and 6.30 - think he was just abit hungry! So am now going to stop all top up bottles unless I would like some wine and given him baby rice/porridge for a month before start on purees etc. Think am going for breakfast and teatime and see how it effects his sleep/contentment during the day and night tbh.

Need to do lots today - garden needs finishing before starts raining again and have friends coming for dinner so need food etc ... need to go to recycling too... so much to do - have a lovely weekend all ps still avoiding you know what!
