Morning elkie!
Liath, have a fab time at your sisters. My sister lives just outside London and she came home for the weekend. It was so lovely to see her and ds was ecstatic. He adores her and had her running round the garden with him all weekend. She has gone home exhausted!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 10/07/2007 10:18

WO, so sorry to hear about your friends baby. How utterly awful.

Ange, glad the jabs went well. Hope they did for others.

Elkie, I will be 37 on Thursday !!!!

elkiedee · 10/07/2007 10:29

SOKL, you're still younger than me, I just turned 38 (we have the same star sign!) I'm used to being around people who are older than me so being made to feel ancient as a first timer at 37 was a new and not so good experience to me.

Ange, glad the jabs went ok.

Bye all

CaptainDippy · 10/07/2007 10:40

I'll be 25 on Thursday!! Tee! Hee! If it is any consolation - there is NO WAY in the world you look 37 SOKL - You are a gorgeous Yummy Mummy! I'd put you at about 30ish easily! I mean it. xx

WO - What a terrible thing to happen to your friend. Compeltely devastating - don't know how I would even begin to cope. Thoughts and Prayers are with them.

Yes - lots of love to Vio and her little tribe! Thoughts & Prayers with them too.

Looking after friends little one this morning. He is 16 months & a right handful. DD1 at Pre-School, other 2 sleeping and he is playing with cars downstairs - best go check on him ..... Eeeeek! Wish me luck ..... (Don't do boys!! )

Bramshott · 10/07/2007 10:43

Oh WO, how awful about your friends baby - it's just your worst nightmare come true isn't it.

It's obviously the week for birthdays - I'll be something on Saturday - 33 I think [heads off to rapidly count on fingers].

Well we moved O into her big cot and the spare room last night, and I slept like a log (except for the 3 times N was up, although those were all before midnight). Glad I didn't read about WO's friend beforehand though, or I might have chickened out.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 10/07/2007 12:37

Where did everyone go???

Liath, meant to say have a fab time in London.

CD, you say the sweetest things thank you.

So, lots of cancerians then! We are supposed to be home-makers aren't we?? I have to say I don't think I am a typical Cancerian.

Where are you all?

The sun is finally out here. Need to haul myself to the clinic and get K weighed as it has been 2 weeks and have no idea what she is. I guess she may have lost a bit as she is still not interested in her bottles today - only took 2 ounces at 10.30
She seems ok in herself though so am not too concerned.

Hope you are all ok. xx

octo · 10/07/2007 13:26

Terrible news about your friends WO

WCL - we are giving them a football each rather than party bags - only costs a little bit more and no crap! They are having a ham roll, packet of crisps, fairy cake and some mini sausages - was going to buy spiderman plates but have opted for cheap white ones since they are going in the bin! Will get a tablecloth instead! Am going to make a Pikuachu cake

Ernie moaning, ted being mischevious and not getting much done myself!

Hope everyone else okay xxx

CaptainDippy · 10/07/2007 13:56

One handed typing here, P having Boobie!! Good grief Bramshott, there's NO WAY you look 33 either!! Certainly is the week for Birthdays!!

AngeG · 10/07/2007 17:04

Hi Norma and Oooggs

Oooggs - I work for our family business, so I have to go in when i'm needed. Generally only 1 day but sometimes 2/3 days. I take Izzy with me. I've been back 1 day a week since Izzy was 4/5weeks old.

normabutty · 10/07/2007 17:05

Hi Ange

oooggs · 10/07/2007 17:06

very handy, especially taking Izzy in.

I could just imaging the dt's under my desk in their car seats

oooggs · 10/07/2007 17:06

hi nutty - what time are you expecting ellie?

normabutty · 10/07/2007 17:08

erm...i have no idea really, she hadn't quite left at 3 and it takes 3.5hrs...but she was texting me at 4ish so i don't really know what time she left!!!

AngeG · 10/07/2007 17:14

Yeah it's ok taking Izzy in when she's having a sleepy/happy day...but when she's having an awake/misreable day it's a bit of a nightmare.

Hope Ellie gets to you ok Norma.

oooggs · 10/07/2007 17:17

saves on childcare & you don't miss anything. But then again when I go back to work I'll be glad of the rest
