Sorry, Jodie

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
JodieG1 · 16/07/2007 17:12

Agree with you both. I find it amazing I really do.

laughalot · 16/07/2007 17:19

Oh my good night that woman cannot be real the heartless cow.

Hi to everyone else hope all are ok iv just skimmed through the posts as iv been busy cleaning up what with work now my days are busy busy busy.

laughalot · 16/07/2007 17:19

Aidans birthday pics are on my profile.

JodieG1 · 16/07/2007 17:35

Love the pics lal

LTH - just wanted to say that I envy you having 4 boys, I love my 2 and the energy they have Of course I love dd too but girls are different to boys, she's still lively and bossy but she's also really nurtering with the baby and Morgan awww hehe. I'd love to have more boys

TheChamberofCarrots · 16/07/2007 17:37

Don't know what to make of that really, tbh just don't believe it but it could be true and that's very sad.

Jodie- does he really scream as soon as you put him down? Seems strange as if it's in anticipation of you leaving when you never leave him ifswim, that makes it tricky. F sort of plays for a bit and then either goes to sleep or doesn't, if he does then great, if not I go back, I don't leave him to cry. Not sure what to suggest really. F also has a cot that he starts off in/sleeps in the day etc. Maybe your bed seems very big without you in it?

JodieG1 · 16/07/2007 17:46

MrsC - I put him on the bed, walk away and when I get to the door he's crying. It is odd as he's never left lol. I think he's just a very sensitive soul, he gets so upset and his face falls when one of the kids shouts too loudly, really sets him off as he thinks it's him getting shouted at It's not as if he always gets to sleep in the same why either, sometimes he's held, sometimes rockes, sometimes fed etc.

theUmbridgeDryad · 16/07/2007 17:53

Jodie - i put Z to sleep in our bed last night as he just would not settle, but i moved him to his cot at 11 when we went to bed. course, he somehow teleported into our bed during the night (neither dh or i have any memory of bringing him into bed!) but he does sleep a lot better with us. could you get one of those cots with the fold down side that you put up against your mattress? then he's not in your bed but still close, iyswim.

well i've had a busy day - two of my bf's came round yesterday for wine etc, and then got mugged on the way home, and one of them got stabbed!! was so upset this morning - i was going to give them a lift home but i'd had a bit too much wine the police are taking it very seriously but i bet they don't get anyone. fortunately he is ok, just superficial wounds, but we are all very shocked.

geoRGEEweasley · 16/07/2007 18:56

God UD that's awful. Hope your friends are ok.

Aww, Jodie, I think it's really cute that your little boy is a sensitive soul. But not really very helpful when you want some time to yourself and a good night's kip.

Piccies are great Lal - love the cake nomnom! How you finding being back at work? I'm worried I won't find the time to MN when I go back!!

Lizz - how was the interview? Hope you found something to wear!
I am on facebook but only cos my mate kept asking me to join. I'm worried it will be a new internet addiction so trying to avoid being drawn in! Anyway, I am not either of those two but Hayley is here (not sure about Rebecca). You now have to guess who Hayley is - hahaa!

Eah - conservatory would be a lovely place to eat in so a good dining room, but in the summer I guess it would also be good to throw open the doors and let your garden be an extension of the playroom. Decisions decisions.

PMSL about buttons Wilkie. I AM the food police! Have already instructed pil that I don't want lo having fizzy drinks before she can ask for them. I know fil has a stash of choccy buttons for the other grandkids - just wish he'd offer me one

PCF good luck tonight!! Look forward to hearing about it. Hope M is a bit better tomorrow.

Pippa rolled over another two times today!

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 16/07/2007 19:13

A few new photos on profile ladies.

Jodie, I have to say it IS pretty cool having 4. People are generally in awe when I say I've got 4. I love it, even when I'm almost dead on my feet at the end of the day. I think you shoudl all have 4.

My firend has 5 and we're like the childbearing gurus at playgroup

GobletOfRouge · 16/07/2007 19:19

Shimmer - I forgot to say earlier that I sing to Ellen to encourage her t eat veg too! I've discovered that she likes any veg if there is cheese sauce involved though.

Rgee - Pippa will be dizzy with all this rolling over.

Ellen has already tasted choc and I let her lick my mino milk lolly today. Her face was a picture when a bit came off in her mouth. She spat it out very quickly! Going to try her on toast for brek tomorrow for the first time. Weetabix has gone down a treat.

Ud - there's always drama in your life isn't there??

EAH - your house sounds so lovely....and it will be so clean too....

Lizz - do primarni staff get discount? You could get baby clothes for almost nothing that way.

I went on a lovely pram walk with mum and baby group this afternoon. The sun stayed shining for us which meant my washing dried nicely too. Hooray.

I have a sausage and apple casserole in the oven and a carrot cake cooling so feeling quite organised. Waiting for Dh to get home from work to eat with him cos he's having a crappy time at work at the mo.

Spent most of this morning trying to sort out whether or not our laptop has wireless capability built into ot. I am not yet any the wiser. However, the Halifax are paying us out for our flood damaged appliances so I will soon be the proud owner of a tumble dryer again.

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 16/07/2007 19:38

blimey UD, not sure how I missed your post a minute ago...

What a nightmare!
I hope your pal makes aquick recovery...I bet it was terrifing.

GobletOfRouge · 16/07/2007 20:07

Wilkie - there is a big 'soco' floor sticker in my local morrisons which makes me think of you

WilkiesWizardWheezes · 16/07/2007 20:42

LTH - don't they just fight and wrestle all the time?? You would have PYSL at me yesterday. I was so shocked by how boisterous the boys were!!!! I am used to little girls in frilly dresses playing tea parties

Vino - Mmmmmmmm could just drink a SoCo

UD - bloody hell - how awful. Where were they stabbed????

It's ridiculous but that other thread has really really disturbed me for two reasons - 1) if it's true, how can any mother honestly do that and 2) if it's not true, why would someone take the time to make up such a weird and convoluted life story and then post something as upsetting as that on a public forum full of mothers????

Need a pee.....

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 16/07/2007 21:04

They do fight, argue and wrestle all the time and I'm 99.999% sure my house is the noisiest in the road but there are other times when all I can hear is them roaring with laughter so its not all bad.

They really do have a love/hate relationship-ds1+2 especially.

Still, when we move, they'll each have there own room so I can lock them in and the stop any rows instantly.....and if they carry on I'll lock them in the cellar!

Yep, guess what??
our offer was excepted!!!!!

Wooooo-Hooooooooo

TheChamberofCarrots · 16/07/2007 21:09

was just about to ask why on earth a soco sticker would make you think of Wilkie and I read the last post!!! I thought SOCO was scene of crime officer, LOL, I imagined a NYPD style chalked person shape on the floor!

TheChamberofCarrots · 16/07/2007 21:10

Brilliant news LTH

WilkiesWizardWheezes · 16/07/2007 21:14

PMSL ROFL MrsC

LTH - Great news mate

theUmbridgeDryad · 16/07/2007 22:12

that's great news LTH (and the photos are so cute they made me giggle with delight!!)

my friend is fine...unfortunately, he got stabbed in the buttocks. not very dignified (especially when the police were taking pictures of his arse!) but at least there are no major organs. except the arse organ.

as i said to him today - it could be a lot worse. we could be organising your funeral!

LadyTophamSortingHatt · 16/07/2007 22:17

we were roaring with laughter with the teething ring ones. I took about 15 photo and they all pretty much look like that...

It was almost as if he was unaware that he's actully had it in his mouth, it was hysterical!

GobletOfRouge · 17/07/2007 07:53

PMSL at your understanding of SOCO Mrs C!! I had never heard of SoCo for Southern Comfort until Wilkie educated me.

Well DH might not have got home until 8.30 last night but he walked in and suggested we go to the Lake District this weekend. it's our second wedding anniversary on sunday and he wants us to take Ellen to the spot where he proposed to me It sent me into a romantic dither for the rest of the evening. Its my job to find us somewhere to stay now.

Ellen happily playing with a piece of A4. That seems less harmful than the newspaper IYKWIM.

GobletOfRouge · 17/07/2007 08:15

Question - if Ellen is now 6 months old does water that she drinks need to be cooled boiled type or can she have council pop now???

Lizzzombie · 17/07/2007 08:24

Ahh - vino goblet, that is SO romantic. I am s jealous I could cry!
UD - omg, that is awful. You need to move house now. Stabbings, nicked laundry etc. its not good. Houses are very cheap in eastbourne, come here.
Rgee - I'm going to stalk you on facebook, I am totally addicted, hence my quietness on the MN front.
Rebecca & Hayley - who are you on MN? I am confused!
Jodie - was reading through that thread you posted about 'stupid'. Dont you think its odd that the people who shout posters down never have profiles up on MN? I've decided to ignore anyone unless they have a profile up.

Lizzzombie · 17/07/2007 08:25

...unless its someone I know has changed their name and not bothered with their profile, like vino!

JodieG1 · 17/07/2007 08:29

Morning all, yawn, knackered again today. Ethan fed about 7 times last night plus awoke at 12 and stayed awake for 40 mins. He was just talking and moving about so we stayed in bed. He got up at 7.

I'd just give tap water now.

JodieG1 · 17/07/2007 08:29

Cross posts Liz, I know what you mean I think that way too.
