foxybrown · 06/07/2007 16:13

LOL TA! you never know....

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 16:17

everyone must be hiding. How are you Foxy?

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 16:18

Oh daisy I forgot! I had a message from hotmail yesterday saying the message sending had failed (after telling me it was just delayed)! I'll send it again now.

TA! Jiggy jiggy! Already! You are a big brave bear!

HV has just been, she is a mad old woman! She kept calling me Alice and Alice Holly! She was very nice though and kept going on about how bright Alice is! Made me go all warm and glowey inside!

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 16:20

Holly, when I was PG I had the sex drive of an asexual earthworm, but it's back now! I don't care if it hurts, I am desperate!

I am sure Alice is very bright despite her mad mum

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 16:23

Alice is very bright, but about as mad as a box of frogs! She can often be found running round in circles in the living room singing "Postman Pat and his bright red cat" until she gets so dizzy she falls over!

I'm never having sex again. Ever.

BadZelda · 06/07/2007 16:26

Holly I got one of those phil and ted things - just went up to oxford street on wed and bought it at mothercare - arrived this morning, and although it is heavy as fuck, I feel a lot more mobile now.

Just been to visit some of my 'mum' friends for lunch. Feel nice and chilled for a change after a horrible week...Whilst Matilda is v chilled and patient, Ella makes up for it by being REALLY manic and demanding, so she's been wearing me out... Such a nice midwife came yesterday though to discharge matilda: she took one look at my chaos house, immediately worked out I'm a person that loves to be in a tidy environment and straight-away told me to STOP putting stuff away and put my feet up. Learn to accept the mess! She was very kind and reassuring - wish they'd all been like that or that I'd met her before...oh well! Have only met HV once so far...

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 16:26

I bet you did that too when you were little

Apparently when I was a kid I would scream so loud and hold my breath then throw myself backwards and hit my head on the wall. I was about 2 or 3 I think.

I was also banned from M&S for wrecking the window display and I had a habit of throwing ornaments out of my bedroom window.

You will have sex again...a couple of glasses of wine, your DP will use the power of seduction...lol

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 16:30

My dp isn't very good at seduction, his idea of come to bed speak is "Do you wanna do it treacle?"! Hmmm!

I love my P&T BZ! It is cool! The whole world and its mum have one though. Last time I went to John Lewis there were 4 mums in the baby room and we all had P&Ts! It's a very special club !

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 16:33

I have a bugaboo, don't hate me, I am not a chav or a sleb wannabe, I just liked pushing it because it was nice

My hubby is an Aussie, the line of choice I think is 'brace yourself Sheila'

He calls you 'treacle'? do you hit him?

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 16:36

I don't mind what he calls me as long as it's not babe! Lol at "brace yourself sheila"! Aussies make me larf!

You are a chav and I hate you! Only joking! Bugaboos are nice, I had a frog once and I felt like a yummy mummy pushing it around!

BadZelda · 06/07/2007 16:37

lol sounds like mine. I think we'd never have sex if i didn't jump on him. haven't done it post-baby as I'm still bleeding...hope it doesn't go on for six weeks this time...

bumperlicious · 06/07/2007 16:40

DD and I just did our first public feed! In Pizza Hut (classy!), she was good as gold, perfect latch, no one batted an eyelid, but I was really nervous at first. Done it no, there's no stopping me, I'm going to be a millitant breastfeeder!

Just been back to the osteopath and hopefully that's us sorted with the wind. She has been more settled since then than she has been in 2 days. Anyone else who is having problems I would so recommend it. We've been all around town and she has barely stirred.

I went to M&S to get a nursing bra and had a "when's it due?" comment! Though I think the shop assistant was more mortified than I was when I said she was two weeks old and with her dad. So I promptly bought some M&S "magic knickers" to help the bump! Hmm, maybe that's their strategy...

LOL DH calls me Babe ALL the time!
I don't care, I call him fuckwit.

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 16:47

Knobhead is one of my fave pet names for dp, loser and wanker often feature as well!

Well done bumper! I fed ds in sainsburys the other day! Cunning marketing scheme by m&s! I need some magic pants!

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/07/2007 16:58

i have a pair of spanx which will be put to good use tomorrow.

just tried on the trousers i plan to wear tomorrow and they are too long with my heels, so i'll be spending the evening sewing a hem on them....fuckity fuck, i hate sewing.

heels as well, i haven't worn any since before christmas....cue sore feet!

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 17:00

Quick daisy, go to Hobbycraft and get some iron on hemming, it's fab!

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/07/2007 17:04

oooh i think i might have some of that....it'll do as a stopgap measure, then i can concentrate on knitting a pretty cardigan for dd!

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 17:09

Wow, you ladies know your stuff... Iron on hemming? Knitting? I can barely manage to sew a button back on.

But I can cook!

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 17:17

I have GCSE in sewing! One of my more useful GCSEs !

riabutterflew · 06/07/2007 17:17

sex? sewing? knitting? shopping?

So far this evening I have read the dreaded school report ("would be nice to see what he could achieve if he used his full potential" ... typical. Genius but can't be arsed. Now who do I know like that?) and yelled at DS1 for asking 3 times what's for tea because despite DH putting a chicken in the oven when he came in on his break earlier, I'm not actually sure when i will get the opportunity to make something to go with it and put it on a plate. pootle just won't settle. DS2 is still asleep on the sofa. And it's fecking friday night...

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 17:17

Oops I failed all my GCSE's

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 17:19

I have 10 !!

Ria, do you need to shout AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSEEEEEEE?????!!!

trendaverter · 06/07/2007 17:19

Ria you sound very frazzled, can you get away tomorrow for some 'me' time? or even just a bath and shut the door?

riabutterflew · 06/07/2007 17:19

i can speed-read and play the tenor horn (badly). not life skills are they!

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 06/07/2007 17:20

Shit, wasn't meaning to show off there, I just meant that I have 10 GCSEs (not to mention the 4 A-Levels) and they have served no purpose in my life whatsoever!
