Someone please tell me why I bothered putting clean clothes on. William has just spewed all over me 3 times in the past half hour! I stink!

derlor · 08/07/2007 19:51

you could try feeding her upside down while you both lie down too IYSWIM??

trendaverter · 08/07/2007 19:52

Holly LOL just saw your post, DH is from Brisbane

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 19:54

Lol TA! My dp's dad lives there, we went there in sept. It was a bit dull! Fraser Island was fab though!

derlor · 08/07/2007 19:55

Holly, my shoulders currently smell permanantly of puke, i don't even notice any more!

derlor · 08/07/2007 19:55

oh I LOVED FRASER ISLAND!!!!!!! (sorry Daisy)

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 19:56

I've got dried sick in my hair. It's gone all crusty. Can't wait til dp gets home so I can have a bath in peace!

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 19:57

Isn't it fab derlor?! We took Alice and we were like hippies! The tour guide was fit and really funny, which was nice! Was one of the best days ever!

derlor · 08/07/2007 20:00

DH and i camped out there under the stars just along from the big ship wreck, bliss x

trendaverter · 08/07/2007 20:05

I never went to Fraser Island

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/07/2007 20:06

go on then....what is fraser island?

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:06

Did you go to Lone Pine koala sanctuary? That was fun!

derlor · 08/07/2007 20:10

Fraser island
nope never went there Holly

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/07/2007 20:12

oooohhhhh...we actually won something at wimbledon...

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:13

Sorry Daisy! I wasn't too impressed with Oz tbh. The supermarkets were a bit scabby and there are loads of weirdos! Also if you are a man over 50 it's like the law to have a 25 year old oriental wife! Seriously!

No offence to Aussies, but there were many strange people there, lots of nice ones too!

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:13

I know! A British sporting success (faint)! Glad Federer won the singles! He is cool!

derlor · 08/07/2007 20:14

oh so he's British now is he???????!!!!!!
bet he'd be Scottish if he'd crashed and burned

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:15

Well he can fuck off actually, Andy Murray is always going on about how he is Scottish, not British. I wouldn't cheer him on if I were there! GO TIM!!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/07/2007 20:16

now now derlor.....don't let that famous scottish sporting chip on the shoulder rear its ugly head!

derlor · 08/07/2007 20:16

Holly i have to agree with you, Oz is not all it's cracked up to be

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:18

It rained the whole time we were there, except the last day! I did like how you could get a large pizza for about £3 though! I'd never cook if I lived there, pizza every night !

derlor · 08/07/2007 20:20

mmmmm we lived right across the road from an amazing pizza place when we lived there. yum yum yum, i liked the BYOB thing there too.

Jamantha · 08/07/2007 20:20

Ria - I feel quite old, seeing that you were 13 in 1991, when I was 21. Only 8 years difference, but makes me feel quite ancient - that and the fact that I had a haircut yesterday and noticed again quite how grey I am.

hollyandalicewillbedogtanian · 08/07/2007 20:21

I know, go down the off licence and buy cheap beer and drink it in the restaurant! Genius!

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/07/2007 20:22

my dh has just had the temerity to suggest that my DSs behaviour is because i spend too much time on MN and has ven hinted that perhaps i should do more stuff around the house before i log on.

apart from the evenings, i usually only log on these days when i'm feeding babyboo....it's not my fault that she feeds every three and a half hours for an hour at a time

maybe if he didn't fuck off for four days a week things would run a lot smoother around here! if i wasn't fucking knackered and feeling crap and fluey i'd knock his block off.

twunt.
