I wouldnt have a clue! Not very good with technical things like that!
Downloaded it once and somehow I managed to lose it. Am now in the process of downloading the damn thing again. By the time its done I will be going to bed!

Pesha · 04/07/2007 22:05

I have an 'Escape the house with children in the middle of the night if i cant use the stairs plan'!

Basically involves lowering the big kids down out the window and putting the baby inside the duvet cover to lower him down before jumpin out!

Trying not to land on the baby!!!

mammyjo · 04/07/2007 22:08

at zombie plan JoMa, not the fact that you are lonely.

Need to learn to type faster!

anewme · 04/07/2007 22:09

I live in Liverpool. Am fighting to keep the house but has all got messy as he is making no allowances for me financially. He was always money driven but the depths he has sunk to get his half are ridiculous and callous. he turned out to a insensitive bully. I just asked him for more time to deal with what was going on before i had to lose my home too. Apparently SHE wants him to not have to keep paying half of our mortgage as it 'distresses her'gggrrrrrrr .

mammyjo · 04/07/2007 22:10

I am meant to have relatively speedy broadband, so why the bloody hell does this thing take so long to download?!

JoMa · 04/07/2007 22:12

i'll let you off mammyjo

Phew just caught up. Ready for bed though so I'll keep it short.

I don't have a zombie plan. Will put it on my to do list.

Hi Anewme, sorry to hear you've been having such a hard time. Glad you've joined us to chat.

Pinions - we're going to visit Kids Academy when we get back from Northumberland. Looked at Tadpoles yesterday - seemed nice but need something to compare it to. Thanks for the advice.

V of you boozy ladies. I cannot tolerate alcohol anymore. Had 1 glass champagne and a gin and tonic on our anniversary and I was chattering like a monkey and bright red (not a good look).

Okay brain is mush now. Goodnight

elkiedee · 04/07/2007 23:40

looks like everyone has gone to bed or disappeared to msn.

I was out most of the day and then have been dealing with grizzly baby, packing to go away for a few days and dp losing his temper . We've sorted things out now though .

anewme, sorry to hear you've had an incredibly rough time.

JoMa, also sorry to hear that you're sad.

norma, hope to see you Sunday.

Take care all, may or may not get to look in here first thing tomorrow or while I'm up north.

JoMa · 05/07/2007 00:12

coooey, bramshott

have you disappeared under a pile of wet sheets never to be seen again?

hope it's going ok, come back soon!

Morning everyone
Hello anewme, it sounds like you've had an awful time but you're strong and know what you want - and as you've seen things can change very quickly!
Ellie, sorry to hear you're having a tough time, I'm on MSN if you want to rant or just listen to me witter on about rubbish - I do it so well
SOKL at tesco delivery at 5am!! Although I had got the washing out before 7am this morning - very proud of myself as I normally manage 10 then kick myself for missing 2 hours of sun!

bumble75 · 05/07/2007 07:19

Hi Katy!

Hi anewme, hope you're doing ok in what must be a really tough time, welcome to the thread.

Ellie, hope you're doing ok as well.

WO & Luce - sorry to hear about the thrush/feeding pain - hope it gets cleared up for you soon.

Lucy and I have our eight week check today & her first jabs as well, not looking forward to that part.

Since she's still sleeping (a miracle!) am going to run for shower and breakfast, hopefully be back later today.

Have a good one all

Katy44 · 05/07/2007 07:30

Good luck bumble, I never have an uninterrupted shower

Katy44 · 05/07/2007 07:31

Hope the jabs go OK

Pinions · 05/07/2007 07:56

Morning ladies!

Quick question for the day.

Who has had their first period, regardless of bf or bottle feeding?

Just interested to know. I feel like its coming any day now, cramps, headaches, moody etc but according to the doctor you definitely will not get a period whilst bf???

And how do you get rid of bloating seems like a lifetime ago I got a period so have no idea!

Opinions please.

liath · 05/07/2007 08:16

No period here yet.

Your Dr isn't quite right. If you are exclusively BF then you are unlikely to ovulate therefore unlikely to have any periods but it is not 100% guarunteed. As soon as you interrupt BF - eg with mixed feeding, weaning or even if the baby starts sleeping through the night without a feed - you could start to ovulate again.

Exclusive BF is about as effective contraception as the "mini-pill", so not bad but not brilliant.

Katy44 · 05/07/2007 08:18

Not here - didn't realise that liath, that's pretty good

Anyone bf and still having problems with LO not sleeping more than 2 hours through the night? Here is the solution:
Put clean bedding on your own bed.
Put LO to sleep in own cot.
Decide you'll risk going without a bra in bed for the first time in ages, as you'll be up soon.

You are guaranteed to wake up after a blissful 6 hours sleep covered in milk and have to rewash the sheets!

Pinions · 05/07/2007 08:38

Hi liath.

I am sure I "ovulated" the other day. I never really know whether you can tell, I know that some people can definitely feel it, and thats what it felt like iyswim. Always makes me think of the german word "Magenschmerz".

Still exclusively bf but t is now going much longer between feeds and then tends to feed for a lot longer so maybe thats it. Anyway I feel like a periods about to rear its ugly head because I have got all the signs. According to MW it only acts as a contraception in very undeveloped countries ie due to malnutrition.
