We've just been and got a carpet quote for £273 inc fitting and underlay, £18 for a quilt set and £16.99 for some curtains from argos so minus our £50 excess £257.99 will be transferred into our bank account in the next 5-7 days

Hi Dew, 37 weeks looking forward to the birth announcement

SnowballV · 03/07/2007 11:31

Yup

Oh, who wants the latest update on my joyous world right now???

Some b*stard's swiped my bin!!!!

Phoenix · 03/07/2007 11:33

Your dustbin? Why????????????

Frizbe · 03/07/2007 11:47

nicked your dustbin, you get some right plonkers don't ya
Where do you want to meet next week, btw if your still up for it? I know what you mean re the dining room table working

Hiya Dew the wait is nearly over then can't wait for your birth announcement, hope it all goes well and is quick and pain free!

Chloe, awwwww re the kitty kat she'll come out soon enough, buggers to brush though, those fluffy ones.

Phoenix for new stuff

MRM, CSWS, Kel, Jas etc hello!!

Sileing it down here, dd2 playing with dd1's kitchen equipment whilst I'm on here, have just finished tidying downstairs, sorted two lots of ironing to do and now have to clean upstairs, sigh.....

Chloe55 · 03/07/2007 12:57

Right, 1/2 the kitchen is done which has included cleaning the bin, cleaning the cooker and the tumble dryer so feel like I have at least made progress today!

Mia (the cat) has come out from behind the dryer (because I put it on ) and is now hiding behind the ironing board - she'll get used to this nut house soon I'm sure!

Oh, did I tell you I have also aquired my old cat who decided to take himself off four years ago? - The lady across the road informed me that he was sleeping rough but that she fed and groomed him - she says she can't take him into her house though as she has 5 cats of her own and they don't get on with him - so, I am back up to 3 cats now!

Stole your bin Flame?! Gypos!

Chloe55 · 03/07/2007 12:58

Oh, sorry forgot to say - she was gonna be put down as she was bought to breed from but she ate her kittens so the owner didn't want her anymore - I had her speyed and took her on, some people just don't deserve pets

mustrunmore · 03/07/2007 13:41

Hello dewmeadow

Bins are £60 to repleace if you wreck or lose yours (assunimg its a wheelie), so that mihght be the reason. They also make good gokarts
My exMIL lived on a road where they found a dead body in one about 12yrs agoish

Did a nice 5.2km this morning, but I'm getting bored of that route already (3 times, twice one way, once in reverse), so am going to think out a slightly longer one thats more interesting.

Er, if you use csws's loft, make very very sure you dont need any of the stuff..." I'm just popping to csws's house darling, to pick up something..."

2boysmacca · 03/07/2007 19:54

I can't move! I can walk up the stairs but wobble when I come down. How the heck am I gonna feel tomorrow?

Mrm, more advice is to vary what you do every few sessions. The body gets used to exercises and to see benefits you need to change routines. Keep the body on it's toes. I m gonna feel so good after 6 weeks of this

I was up at 4 this morning, so I need to retire to the tv with a cup of tea and a chunk of G&B!

Phoenix · 03/07/2007 20:15

it worked

Phoenix · 03/07/2007 20:49

it's gone now. Can anyone else see Phoenix in glittery writing?

Jas · 03/07/2007 20:58

Nope.

I also tried all the possible addresses individually and mostly got the front pages of two sites, or the one with all the numbers was one telling me the page has been deleted due to inactivity or breach of rules.

At macca being happy with not being able to walk dwn the stairs

Phoenix · 03/07/2007 21:03

Aaahh MNHQ/tech have stopped it. There is another thread in active convo's telling how to put pics in posts but they've been found out.

Phoenix · 03/07/2007 21:04

So u can all ignore it

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/07/2007 21:25

Evening. Mum staying so only got a min to post at the moment.

Just wanted to say that you'll have to grovel to MrCSWS if you want loft space, as he's the loftkeeper!

lol at old cat re-appearing when you've just got another!

Yay for decorating.

Hello dewmeadow! Don't feel bad about moaning about pregnancy. I fall into the 'crap at conceiving' camp, but doesn't mean that I would resent anyone else for being better at it!
Fingers crossed for sleeping through - you could do with it in time for the new one arriving!

Flame - big hugs. Try not to stress too much about landlord inspection - the house doesn't have to be spotless for it - they'll just want to see that you aren't drawing on the walls and burning your rubbish in the waste paper bin!

Right, gotta go - not sure if I'll be back on later or not.

Hi Dewmeadow, great to hear from you. Sounds so odd you talking about giving birth again, not long now hon hang in there!!!!

Flame- hope you are feeling better tonight. I bought a dustbin this week, wasnt yours was it??

I sold my wacky wraps on TheNappyLady (also posted on your site flame)

DS didnt want me to put him to bed tonight - he wanted my best mate to do it!!! he cried every time I tried to take him. Does that mean I'm a bad mother???????

My nieces friend is in hospital with menigitis, we were in contact with her at the weekend and it looked as if me and DS were going to have to have antibiotics but we managed to get away with it. I will be keeping a close eye on Ds though over the next few days just incase - she has a bad version of it so we are keeping fingers crossed she is ok.

Right off to bed now- night all xx

Flamesparrow · 03/07/2007 23:07

Have you updated em as sold?

OP posts:
KelBelle · 03/07/2007 23:20

Yep - just done it. Couldnt believe they went that quick - I only advertised them last night!!

Jas · 04/07/2007 07:05

Kel - how much did your ww go for? I need to get rid of mine, too.

I only posted 1/2 of what I wanted to say yesterday, but I've forgotten the rest now.

School all day helping in dd2s class, the brownies so may nopt be back til tonight.

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 08:15

I like the idea of Mrcsws being 'The Loftkeeper'; sounds like a good title for a thriller

Anyone need a cd walkman thingy? Apparently has mp3 too but I've never investigated. It came with with our treadmill, but I dont need it now I have my ipod .

I sorted out all my clothes last night; took from 8.30 till about 11.15pm Put an audio book on while I was doing it! I now have tops anfd bottoms that fit, and 2 boxes of tops and bottoms that are still too small but I want to keep in hope, and a box of tops that almost fit! And a binbag of charity stuff, and some went straight in the recycling I'm feeling cleansed

Flamesparrow · 04/07/2007 08:20

Assuming that means it plays cds with mp3 files stored on it?

Boy whinges that my albums of choice have too many rude words for playing loudly whilst cooking

"The LoftKeeper"

I'm thinking some kind of Psycho who abducts women and keeps them in the loft? Sort of like in The Collector, but up high rather than in cellar.

OOhh or the children's version

"The LoftKipper"

OP posts:
MrCSWS · 04/07/2007 09:07

Flame

So first it is ....

Then you accuse me of being some Psycho ....

the Loftkeeper might have to say no.

Seriously, if you want to store some stuff in our loft, i don't have a problem with it. i think i could find a little space (bit full of Pippa clothes, air conditioning units etc).

Better to arrange this things directly with the boss though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/07/2007 09:12

Was just going to Skype you to tell you to read thread!
