Chloe55 · 04/07/2007 15:12

What's 'Skype'ing?

PMSL at loftkipper

I won't be able to come to the piss up as I have promised my dh that none of you are indeed pyschos, seeing as though MrCSWS clearly is then I will have to give it a miss.......

Chloe55 · 04/07/2007 15:12

psycho

FlameCod · 04/07/2007 15:29

He won't be there

Chloe55 · 04/07/2007 15:36

Ah, that's ok then, I can still come

Jas · 04/07/2007 16:55

Skype is sort of like MSN I think. I have Skype, but don't have anyone to talk to on it

Jas · 04/07/2007 16:57

It did register that I was singing loudly to Heroin in the car the other day. Luckily I didn't have to explain it all as it was only ds inthe car, but I do look at it a little differently now the girls are old enough to understand.

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 17:30

Cd player bagsied for Flame then No idea re the mp3 bit; like i said, I've never looked at it really . Suppose i could take a look for you though.
Er, I also have a cd player with speakers going spare. Its fine except you have to press the on/off button really hard sometimes to get it to do its thing Its only a cheap Tesco jobby, can find a link later if you want.

All I need now is a cheap alarm clock for the bedroom, mains one (having a big reshuffle here...). Obv I meant to have a look in Argos today, and totally forgot.
Did get 3 books for 2 in Smiths though, as the 'thank you for letting 7 people camp in your house' pressie for auntie. Hope she likes them; no idea on her taste, so just got 3 from the bestsellers!

Ooo, I like the idea of keeping people up the loft. Like Wuthering Heights with a csws touch

No run tonight now; MrL not coming so no babysitter; shingles

Jas · 04/07/2007 20:49

I'll take the cd player if no one else wants it
I need to hunt and find some stuff some of you might want, so I can share too.
Polly pocket anyone???????

shingles/ no run.

I GOT THE BABY BIKE SEAT YESTERDAY, BUT IT ISN'T FITTED YET, AND I CAN'T USE IT TIL I GET HIM A HELMET(sorry)

I left him all day today while I helped at school (very overpriced seaside day event). He didn't miss me

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 20:52

Did you leave him with someone, or just on his own playing?

Jas, its yours if Flame changes her mind

Ds1 loves polly Pocket

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 20:56

Oh, hang on... that cd palyer! Duh! Its yours

Jas · 04/07/2007 20:59

Oh, he was on his own.

I had no disposable nappies so my friend had to cope with reusables

We have big PP and tiny little ones (apparently sell quite well on ebay but I really can't be bothered). We can always spare a couple.

Frizbe · 04/07/2007 21:01

for baby bike seat Jas, keep thinking I must get my bike back from my dad (he nicked it years ago and adapted it to fit his fishing box , my poor old mountain bike, sob) and stick a seat on it for dd2....think I'm going to end up with a new bike, as will dh, then we can all go out! yay!

poor old MrCSWS getting picked on by you lot CSWS you'd better hope its not squirrels in your loft, buggers they are, eat thru everything.

Phoenix, I take it things went glittery for a while then?

We've been to a lovely 4th July celebration at Daemaras today, for tea had frankfurters, chilli burgers, mac and cheese, followed by fab lemon n lime cream cake, all home made she's a great cook, hence my waist line needs to go gym, but can wait till tomorrow! Fingers x'd its fine, we're going to the zoo!

2boysmacca · 04/07/2007 21:02

I have a useless husband I no longer need. Comes with a health warning!

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 21:03

cd player I think, although its gone down by a fiver!

You're talking to me as if I know anything about PP He likes really fiddly things. And he has a pink square thing with a jungle in and 3 animals, that we got from a car boot. But if you can make money on ebay, I'd do that if I were you

2boysmacca · 04/07/2007 21:04

I saw you twinkling last night pg!!

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 21:07

Hmmmm, lemon & lime cake

I'll bring it to the picnic Jas.

Quick one....(hope I didnt already ask, and forgot!!)... if you were staying with a realtive you know on a see-once-every-2-years basis but was nice, and taking 4 kids and 2 adults with you for 2 nights.... what value of M&S voucher would you give her whwn you left? (she doesnt want any B&B money, and we have the books/chocs to give her when we arrive). I've asked 3 people, and the answers have varied by £80 differeence

Frizbe · 04/07/2007 21:09

£50 if you can afford it?

Macca, what's your dh done then?

Frizbe · 04/07/2007 21:10

PS: Flame still up for meeting next week, or are you too busy?

2boysmacca · 04/07/2007 21:12

Nothing, yet. I'm just not taking any more chances with him

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/07/2007 21:14

Well, if she's already said that she doesn't want B&B money, so it's more a token gesture, then about £30, but if you're attempting to 'pay' her through tokens, then more like £100.

Will read rest of thread now.

mustrunmore · 04/07/2007 21:19

Oh, you lot! The 3 amounts already suggested are £20, £50, and £100!

ChasingSquirrels · 04/07/2007 21:19

just skim read, been hectic at work, but everyone is - not enough staff, too much work.
squirrels on the roof csws?? LET ME AT EM!
not fed ds2 in the morning for the last two days, so hoping we have ditched that feed.
dh making wine racks and rearranging his wine cupboard (he wants a cellar but had to make do with the spare room cupboard ).

Phoenix · 04/07/2007 21:19

What's he done now macca?

I'm a converted mooncup user I got it a few month ago and only used it a bit and didn't really like it. I've perservered with it this month and love it, it's so easy to use

We're getting on well with painting now it's nearly all done in our room then we need the carpet and to move our drawers back in and it's done. Then we've to start painting the attic.

ChasingSquirrels · 04/07/2007 21:22

converted mooncup user here aswell, although 7 weeks since i last used it
