March 2007 - can't keep up

Hi all -miss a few days due to nightmare things happening at home and I can't keep up now - so started a new thread. Perhaps thought we could remind each other when babes were born - I have lost track at who is the oldest etc.

Been busy here. Prac nanny is okay but hard work - feel like I can't totally relax in my own home etc. She is not sure how to deal with /take dd1 - making it hard. Dd1 had major meltdown after swimming the other day and then at hospital appt, then nanny took eyes from her for a second and she is finally found out on the footpath beside a major road and a sensible and lovely man brought her back. Unlike hospital volunteer who managed to stop dd1 taking a lift anywhere but when she could not get dd1 to hold her hand - she just left her It is clear the minute you speak to dd1 she has special needs FGS. poor nanny student was beside herself.

Saturday dh was gone all day on training exercise and dds only wanted daddy - long day. I managed to get out to a trivia night - MY TEAM WON - i found the questions very easy and answered most of them ( not bragging- just surprised my brain still functioned) I took dd3 - she would not go to sleep - come 11pm still wide awake and beyond over tired... got her home - to see dd2 in bed with dh cause she had an explosive puke that covered everything in her room. She was still up at 1am puking and I had dd3 still crying as she was exhausted.

so long rant - long few days - I am wrecked!!

dd3 - 12 weeks old.

H ieveryone,

Well all this highchair talk...we got the highchair before Deanna was born lol.I cant wait to use it as its quite posh-all reclining, different heights etc.
Deanna is exactly 4 months tomorrow...time flies

Went to mum and baby group on Thursday and things were much better, they were actually saying how cute Deanna was and asked me along to the teddy bears picnic this week. Now I have mum and baby group on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Deanna has her last set of jabs on Tuesday and this time I think I have to take her alone eeek.
Deannas been teething alot lately and the last 2 days she has gone gone to bed by 9 and sleeps through till about 7am.
Myself,I keep getting rashes on my arms and I went to see the doc last week.she thinks I may have psorasis so I have to try these creams out for a week and go back to see her on Wednesday.

Hope everyones okay and omg March 2008 babe already.

dd3 has settled into a very content baby even when we have disruptions to our usual routine as we have had lately.

big new sin our house - THE WIGGLES tickets for the concerts at Christmas time go on sale tomorrow morning at 9am - one guess as to where I will be at 9am

mossy glad to hear things are settling down and Bertie is settling into a routine. Now is the lovely stage when they settle down and seem like 'proper' babies - cooing, smiling, giggling, dribbling etc.

Hi everyone - having a MEGA colear out here - trying to purge our house of some of the crap which is cluttering everywhere..

will pop back and say hello properly later

have a fab Sunday

TransfiguratingLily · 01/07/2007 10:34

I need to do some work in the house but instead I'm being a miserable ee-or, sitting on here in my pjs.Is it a full moon? I'm always miserable when the moon is full...it's all the moon's fault...

Mossy · 01/07/2007 13:46

Well Kitty your perfume is lovely, what is it?

Diva, I know nothing about mattresses I'm afraid! Personally if it were me I'd just keep the old mattress but I'm not known for being Anthea Turner!

Evenhope your dd is like the opposite of Bertie - he is ridiculously sociable these days; he loves being carted around or made faces at by absolutely anyone, even the biddies at the Asda! However as soon as he sees me he seems to think "dinner time" and heads straight for the chest!

Shanks I'm so pleased the Mums and Babies group are being nicer to you.

Eids what is the Wiggles?

Foxy... good luck with the clearout; what did you think of Doctor Who last night? That John Simm's actually a bit tasty too isn't he? Or is that just me?

Lily I'm being a bit of a moody cow today, go and see my dh thread in relationships! Yep, must be the moon!!

divastrop · 01/07/2007 15:35

ah if its the moon that may be why my af seems to be arriving 6 days early.not that i'm complaining...i may turn sane.not happening yet though i still keep asking him who the hell he's chatting to,then bursting into tears of rage over the fact that...nothing is any different but i just feel very angry and upset.

i just took the dc to the dodgey soft play place.ds2 nearly got run over twice.im hoarse from screaming at him but all he did was laugh
he is very tired due to being woken up at 4 by the rain.i was mightily pissed off as Elsie slept from 8-6,and dd2 slept from 8-7,so i could have got a decent nights kip if he had'nt woken then

mossy-i shall have a nosy when ive made the tea

muppethasakitten · 01/07/2007 17:27

Gaaarrrggghhh... don't get me started on dh's... daren't go on your thread mossy as i'd hi-jack it.

Mine went to watch cricket at the oval on friday after work... got drunk... phoned and left message with dd to apologise 4 being late (he knows i've been struggling last 2 weeks with super sucky fish at nightime)... my dd said "Daddy's on his way home"...

... well by 2am I was frantic... no sign of him... not picking up calls or texts.... just about to call police to see if there's been any road accidents when he calls.

"...I'm in a nightclub with my brother... sorry couldn't hear phone... didn't dd pass on the message?..."

"... no she fecking well didn't and I've been fecking sh*tting myself thinking you're dead... feck you..."

dh creeps home in early hours without key. muppet doesn't let him in so he must sleep in the porch with the slugs

divastrop · 01/07/2007 17:33

ok so im fairly lucky that my dp rarely leaves the house then

hes in a mood with me now i thinkas ive been snapping at him all day.i have PMT,which is bad enough at the best of times, but i am travelling down to my mothers tomorrow for my nan's funeral and im rather nervous.

kittywits · 01/07/2007 18:30

Muppet, rofl about sleeping with the slugs. excellent. Is he suitably shamed ??

Diva, good luck for tomorrow. I hope it's not raining too hard. how long are you staying away for?

Tranny, I've felt rather 'sluggish' this weekend. Mind you I do most weekends as I slow down fro the mania of the week.

Mossy, I have really been enjoying dr who, but I'm not so sure about last night. Parts of it were really good, very touching, but the messiah bit made me cringe.
The perfume's called "scherrer 2" I've worn it for nigh on 20 years, God where DOES the time go?

divastrop · 01/07/2007 20:39

kitty-i am coming back on wednesday afternoon.dont want to saty down there any longer than necessary,i may bump into undesirables

plus its more of a sh**hole than this place, which is saying something!

muppethasakitten · 01/07/2007 22:05

dh very and very that i wouldn't let him in ... he has been sucking up to me all w/e (just like Samuel!!)

kiwibella · 01/07/2007 22:19

a quiet weekend girlies... glad that you have had success with Bertie, Mossy and that the baby group was more friendly this time Shanks.

I have just had a weekend away in Dublin!! Just me (no kids) and seven other chicks from work. We had booked this trip months ago but I had my dates mixed up thinking it was this coming weekend. Best thing was hubs loved having the girls to himself, coped remarkably well, and everyone is feeling happy. It was great to get back to my lil girls today tho .

Diva, travel safely with your lil ones and I hope that things are ok with your family. More importantly that you have a lovely time celebrating your Nan's life. See you back soon

foxcub · 01/07/2007 22:25

Diva have a good journey tomorrow

Hi everyone else

Say after me: "The Doctor, the Doctor, the Doctor"

foxcub · 01/07/2007 22:26

Muppet - make sure you get as much mileague out of his shame as you can eh?

divastrop · 01/07/2007 22:29

thanks all.i used to go down there so often it never bothered me,in fact a few hours on a train with just a small baby would have been bliss, but its been 2 years since i went down south...

bugger,i hope i didnt offend anyone by saying its a s*hole

bella-a child free weekendsounds fun!

foxcub · 01/07/2007 22:41

It would take more than that to fecking offend me Diva!

kittywits · 01/07/2007 22:42

divastrop · 01/07/2007 22:44

Eids... there was an interview with Jeff, the purple Wiggle, in last week's TNT magazine. I was stunned to learn that he is in his early 50s!!!!

eidsvold · 01/07/2007 23:40
