Hi all, haven't been on for a few days. So first the good news - I got up on Weds morning and the pain in my coccyx had just about disappeared (i don't know if it popped back into place overnight or what). However I've felt really down this morning, I don't know why really - i think part of it is missing my family (it's been so nice spending time with them) and DH has been a pita (forgetting to do important stuff and having to be constantly reminded - it's like looking after 2 kids ).
Anyway DH took the day off work to look after me and we went into town and I sorted out ctf account and other accounts type things for Erin. Then went for lunch and on the way home we stopped off at the local mother and baby group. I really enjoyed it, everyone was v friendly so I'll definitely go again - it really cheered me up. Bought a 'taggie' style blanket (the woman who runs the group makes them) not that Erin was v interested! (All the toys they had and she slept for the first hour - despite another kid throwing a brick at her )
Welcome Lazyemma - pretty much the same here on the playing front! only thing is a relative of DH bought Erin a spongebob rattle and she's a bit obseessed with it so I have to play spongebob every day .
Pampers users I have some vouchers if anyone would like them, i'm happy to post them just let me know - email me on hazel @ the raisons . me . uk (without the spaces!)
wrt nappies - I'm using terries and loving it, the only problem i have is occasionally they leak if Erin pees a lot but that's mainly cos the plastic pants are still a bit big for her.
wrt wipes - i'm using huggies pure wipes. I had to start using wipes cos of my bad back and to be fair huggies pure ones don't irritate her skin. I just throw pooey liners/wipes in the bin...is that wrong???
Elkie - at you needing a&e, hope you're feeling much better now.
CD - at no-one helping you with the pram.
lol @ Ellie & Joe show!
Oh and I got the reply to hospital complaint - some bits were crappy (i.e. they said i'd been examined at 1.25am but i hadn't been and stuff like that) but they were v apologetic and it sounded like they'd given the mw a roasting! Am tempted to send a quick reply making a few points but might not get time (e.g. they don't offer debriefing sessions cos community mw can do that but I'd like to point out comm mw doesn't have notes regarding labour). Still it's helping me to put a line under it, IYKWIM.
