Soz csws i went to bed We're going tomorrow when we're ready. We're aiming for 9ish. According to our sat nav it takes 4hrs 18 mins to get there but obviously we'll be stopping a few times, i don't think Lew will sit quietly for 4 hours

Have a nice day in the sun everyone

Flame · 03/06/2007 11:49

for pneumonia Morgan ( def scared you all by taking a few names off ).

Hands finally stopped itchin when I found some antihistamine.

DS was miserable and crawling round ourbed for most of the night The iron pills must have kicked in for me though as I feel sooo much more human today. DH is going to get a bit of sleep whilst DS does and then I have to go to mums to do the books.

House is a state - yet again Half term is over though so maybe the FLYing will improve with DD back at school .

Frizbe - I don't get the time off much (during the day when they are awake!), but I also don't have the whinging about me going out iyswim.

I'm back. I did read the thread, but brain is slightly fried. I was out til 4.30 this morning Now need to get ready to go away tomorrow, so unless I have a chance this evening, I won't be back for a week. Someone keep notes to update me when I get back please

Here's Lewis yesterday.

This is him today

Morgan · 03/06/2007 18:33

Hi all again - back so soon

Jas - 4.30 sounds like a good night

Re 4th August i will unfortunately be in a different country, France this time, on hols so will miss the piss up. So near yet so far! CSWS We must meet up with the dd's though - possibly week of 13 August if you are around.

CSWS - it was my mil and she died during our visit - which was sort of expected as she had terminal cancer. One of the reasons why i stopped posting sort of - but don't really know why.

Frizbe · 03/06/2007 20:13

Morgan for MIL, hope dh is coping ok

Flame, urm yep, we're not getting on today, more tomorrow me thinks........
I need to seeth a while and he's lurking, so will post more tomorrow.

Jas, have a great week away and where were you till 4.30 am you dirty stop out you

Flame · 03/06/2007 20:19

Phoenix · 03/06/2007 20:23

Right so apart from the odd bits we're all packed and ready to go

for MIL Morgan

Where is everyone?

Phoenix · 03/06/2007 20:24

Oh it took me ages to post that cos my mum rang me in between. Hi friz, hi Flame

Jas · 03/06/2007 20:24

Some club in Camden. We were the oldest people there and it was exactly as I remember it from about 10 years ago(except I didn't know any of the music)

Lots of sympathy Frizbe. I have similar issues...I have to give weeks notice to go out, and still do all the daily jobs, while dp gets to go out without us all whenever he feels like it.

Phoenix · 03/06/2007 20:26

Hav a good hol Jas, i forgot to say that earlier

Jas · 03/06/2007 20:26

Also took ages to post...hello Flame and Phoenix

Morgan, but nice to have you back.

I'm only away til Friday

Buckets and spades are in a bag by the door ready to go.

Jas · 03/06/2007 20:27

You too Phoenix

Jas · 03/06/2007 20:27

You too Phoenix

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/06/2007 20:46

Electric Ballroom Jas? Fab place if so .

Have great hols Jas and PG. Will be quiet on here without you two!

for mil Morgan, and sorry I got the wrong person . Bah for 4th Aug, but I should be able to do something w/c 13th Aug (she says staring at somewhat empty diary!).

Lovely afternoon with one of my best friends today. She and her dh and dd came up to us (from S London), and the girls played nicely together and encourged each other to go down the big slide lots (her dd is 6 months older than dd). Unfortunately dd was in a little summer dress, so now has lots of friction burns all over her, but she doesn't seem bothered!!

Frizbe · 03/06/2007 23:36

CSWS sounds like you had a great time

Phoenix and Jas, have fab hols girls will be quite without you!

Oooh could have strangled dh today....didn't see him for most of the day, but he's been arsey all weekend, picking fights, u know how it goes sometimes....anyway did Toy Library party this afternoon, all good, came back expecting to cook tea for us all, had got stuff out ready, get home, he says ss and I aren't hungry we've just eaten (when instructed not to as would be tea time when they got back) so we're going to do a dungeon (WOW for those of you who aren't Flame!) which take 1.5-3hrs
I reacted in the best way I could think of, rang my mate down the road, who'd already offed me an iced coffee if he was still being a pain, went down there, took the defrosted meat with me and the dd's and we had tea with her family but so at dh for being an arse and for not seeing the girls much at all this weekend....I know he needs quailty time with ss, but the girls need to see him too, at this rate I reckon if I divorce him, at least I get two weekends to myself a month and surely that isn't a good way to be thinking arrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhh
Sorry for rant, sure I'll be back to normal tomorrow

Flame · 04/06/2007 07:45

with you!

F*ckin dungeons.

Right, I'm back properly... just as Jas has gone! all visitors gone, and ds1 back to nursery tomorrow 'New' telly all installed, and its great. Except it doesnt fix onto our old stand, so ds2 will prob pull it off onto himself, as he's fond of climbing up it at the moment. Got to get rid of the old telly now, but I just cant face freecycle; you get a million emails, and then half of them let you down anyway Off to go pressie shopping this morning, if I can get the boys rousled; need to get leaving gifts for my friends that are going back home Any ideas?? Something to remind thenm of 8 years in London! Have already ordered photos.

YeahBut · 04/06/2007 10:45

Heard all about these imminent teeth over the weekend from Alex BUT still no sign of them coming through... Had a quiet one this weekend, lots of playing in the garden which all the kids love. Anyone else's toddler like digging in the mud?

Frizbe · 04/06/2007 11:20

Yeahbut, dd2 loves mud, in fact all our kids do

MRM will have a think, but I may not be your woman for this one......glad new tv is good though

Flame, karma has got its own back today, he's off with sickness and trots hogging the loo as we speak so dd1 and 2 had this last week, odds on me getting it then

Flame · 04/06/2007 19:53

Eek - how are you so far Frizbe??

Hectic day here - this morning sorting the new nappy order, and I did some of the pilates dvd the reflexologist gave me, also walked to school and back (50 min round trip ). Thought that this afternoon's jobs were just to quickly pop to 2 shops and the bank - could I buy plain white toddler t-shirts anywhere????

Ended up going into town, open the boot... the pushchair is still in my hall from the school run.

Walked round shops with DS strapped to my back in the sling, which I've never done alone before so although he felt secure, every time he leant too far to one side I expected him to fall out!

Finally got home 20 mins before it was time to leave to get DH. I've got oodles of orders (which is obv a good thing!), but it means oodles of work. DH did all the dishes, I did dinner, and now I'm about to start in again before tie dying t-shirts and nappies.

Oh - DH was lovely though, he went to the shop for milk, and when I came out to the laptop I found a bag of doritos (my current nibbles of choice) on my laptop

ChasingSquirrels · 04/06/2007 20:08

flame - what are you doing with the plain white toddler t-shirts?? just sounds like a bad idea - plain white - messy kid...

T has started climbing up the climbing frame (like this but without the extra side bit), dancing on the platform then going down the slide..ekk..actually he is climbing on everything atm.

back to work today after 2 weeks off (week away then week with no childcare), but then a lovely afternoon in the park.

Flame · 04/06/2007 20:18

You need em white to dye them beoooooooooooootiful colours

DS would love that climbing frame

OP posts:
ChasingSquirrels · 04/06/2007 20:21

ahh you are dying the t-shirts as well as the nappies, well that makes more sense.
T adores it, I just worry! he has now taken to climbing up the slide .
