Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
damewashalot · 19/06/2007 09:25

Chloe going in september so not for ages, birthday is end of august but childcare easier when the boys are at school as we are going to a wednesday pm show and big 2 at school. I mentioned to dh yesterday that I might get a copy of soundtrack so that I know it better when we go and he picked a copy up for me when he popped to sainsburys ds3 loves it has been dancing to it this morning

Frizbe · 19/06/2007 09:26

hmmm ring bank and get overdraft??? scrape up all pennies??? ring your mum for a loan? ring a mate with similar sized baby for nappies????

bah at your dh eh.....I know exactly where your coming from on the avoidance of dr front (bar dh's miraculous decision to go for snip he's avoided them at all costs)

at Glasto too, although actually not, cause its probably going to rain, and I think that its kinda lost its spirit a bit ya know....

Frizbe · 19/06/2007 09:27

dame, right I'd better go and pay attention to dd2 who is trapped in the front room by herself she was watching balamory and I've mopped the hall floor! so had to shut the door, but she's whinging now

damewashalot · 19/06/2007 09:30

Keep forgetting to say for poorly dc my brain just doesn't work
I went to the hospital last week, still no closer to knowing what's wrong with me and now waiting for an apointment for a brain scan (to check I've got one)
So not really ignoring people just got too much else in my head. RL is such a pain

Jas · 19/06/2007 09:35

Steal money from ds' piggy bank?
Go to toddler group and scrounge a few nappies?
Go to Tescos and ask for a free one (nappy)
Let me send you a couple of reusables (free) for the next emergency nappiless day.

Go to mates and scrounge for food.
Ring dh and get him to send cc in a taxi....

OK, mostly rubbish ideas, sorry. I hope you sort something out.

I'm always in a bad mood too (Two years of no sleep, I can't imagine why) Got very cross with dp when he woke me at 6am to ask me to make him coffee so he could stay in bed for a few more minutes

Jas · 19/06/2007 09:36

Remind me where it is mrm. I have a vague memory of not being able to find it behind a shop, but don't have a clue other than that. TBH I don't mind the drive, and I don't remember it taking long last time.

Chloe55 · 19/06/2007 10:29

I found the credit card but it seems someone has moved my keys whilst I have been away so the credit card has become useless because I can't get to the co-op, a bus is out of the question - firstly because I don't have any change for it and secondly because ds has been crying now for about 2hrs and I think I would lose it on the bus.

I have just had a breakdown on the kitchen floor and haven't been able to stop crying since, I have had to put ds back to bed and shut all the doors to get away from the noise. I have broken the phone because dh is so fucking unhelpful so I threw it in a rage. God I am so mad that some dickhead has obviously used my keys probably to let himself out of my house whilst I haven't been here and now I have no clue where they are. To top it off I have remembered that I am starting work at 8am tomorrow which means I have to leave at 7am and have to open up - with the keys I can't find

Phoenix · 19/06/2007 10:32

Chloe - Trace2's birth announcement is around somewhere and she's put some pics on it today.

Phoenix · 19/06/2007 10:35

Oooops didn't read your last post before i posted that

Count to 10 and breathe. Hope you find your keys and your day gets better.

damewashalot · 19/06/2007 10:35

Chloe I wish I could help or think of something usefull to say, just didn't want you to feel ignored. are all your keys missing? if you have car keys but not house can you use the backdoor? Do you have a garden you can take ds out in to distract him from crying? that often works with mine.

Jas · 19/06/2007 10:37

Chloe.

((((Chloe))))

Jas · 19/06/2007 10:37

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2007 11:10

Aww chloe

Chloe55 · 19/06/2007 11:11

He has fallen asleep....peace. I haven't stopped crying yet though. Dh has just rung telling me that my attitude won't help the situation etc etc. I'm also cross because I came home to an untidy house - and dh thought it was clean - He left dirty nappies and bottles in the nursery, he forgot to put a nappy on ds one night and didn't put the sheets in the wash, just left them on his chair, somebody broke a glass in the kitchen which he said he had cleaned up but I cut my foot on some yesterday so re-cleaned the floor and found about 10 pieces It's just so bloody irresponsible when we have a one year old running round bare foot. He hasn't cleaned up any dog poo since I haven't been here and I doubt the dog even got a walk

I'm just so at him - he thinks I overeact and whinge about the housewok and that he does pull his weight. I know I am part-time and he is full-time but I do also look after our son when I am not working yet still manage to do every fucking thing else grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - I'm sorry for ranting, and swearing I'm just pissed off.

He is in charge of cash, if I'd have known when I got back the cupboards would be bare and we wouln't have enough money for nappies then I most definitely wouldn't have gone. But, he practically booked the flights for me so I could have a break (more like he felt guilty because he is off to Glasto) but it would seem neither of us can afford either

All the keys are on one bunch so I can't even get out

PG - gonna find Trace's story, might cheer me up a bit.

2boysmacca · 19/06/2007 12:25

Chloe. Hope the day gets better. Men don't see dirt and they certainly can't multitask.

I have caught up but it's gone in one ear and out the other. There should be lots of and but can't remember which face goes where!

Just had my first session with the PT. I am now officially broke having signed up for a block of 6 sessions. Today ws a freebie so it was just a taster. I feel as if I haven't had a thorough work out though so I'm a bit disappointed. On a scale of poor, good, excellent, I came in at good on most things but my body fat ratio is just inside the healthy range, which I was rather [shocked] with. Next Tuesday will be my first session so I'm hoping to ache ache ache afterwards

Right better get ds2 up so I can take ds to nursery. I hate this timing issue on a Tuesday, ds2 only get between 1.5h to 2 hours of sleep when he usually has an hour more than that.

mustrunmore · 19/06/2007 13:55

I dont think you should expect to ache on a first session, as its all faffing about really! Nevertheless, I'm still very jealous of you getting a trainer.

Ds2 sleeps an hour max each day, as we have to wake him for the nursery run, and he wont have anther nap. But today he's bee nawake 4.45am till 1.15pm ; my neighbour took ds1 to nursery after her son, while I had her other one, then I put ds2 down when she came a nd got hers, so I reckon he'll have a great sleep now Just hope he goes to bed tonight,as its still hard with no dummy for ds1, and I'm on my own again.

Chloe, men truely have a differeent perception of cleanliness etc. Dh is pretty good on the whole, but still cant see what I'm moaning about sometimes. Sometimes I know I'm right, sometimes I can see why he doesnt think its an issue, but if I want something a certain way, then it has to be that way But if he left unwashed sheets around etc, I'd firstly be suprised because he's a bit overeager re hygeine, then secondly, I'd kill him
But, sorry, I have no useful ideas either, other than call the police to let you out of the house, and ask them to bring some nappies?

Jas, its round the back of Tescos on the Coppetts Wood junction of the n circ. Clown Town. I'll find a link later. There's also Topsy Turvy in Brent Cross, which is cleaner, more exciting playframe, and better food, but will be even more packed, and I'll be tempted in the shopping centre on the way back to the bus! Its up to you...

mustrunmore · 19/06/2007 13:57

Oh, and my food situation was pretty good today... cereal and bagels/spread for brekkie. Biccies at playgroup. Cous cous salad and codroe fishcakes(using the last egg!) for lunch. Think it might be butties and fruit /yog for tea!!

2boysmacca · 19/06/2007 14:15

Has lodger got you an mp3 yet?

I am listening to lazytown whilst ds2 dances. i never realised there were so many songs on the album. I may take the boys to the park on the way back from nursery as ds2 has only been to the creche this morning and not had the obligatory runaround. I think he might conk out too early though. Oh, he's moaning, he wants attention....

2boysmacca · 19/06/2007 14:16

we're still eating the leftovers from fil party on Sunday. Ham sandwiches for the rest of the week!

mustrunmore · 19/06/2007 14:20

He's currently in the states, hopefully shopping for me But I spoke to my Dad the other day, and he might give me his, as he wants a different one , so if lodger fails me, all is not lost!

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2007 14:25

I'm lost - what's your dad giving you?

mustrunmore · 19/06/2007 14:26

ipod! How did you get lost with that, it was only a couple of posts Or did you think he was giving us a new lodger?!

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2007 14:27

I somehow completely skipped the lodger giving mp3 post

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2007 14:30

This round up should be amusing

"And MRM's dad isn't happy with his lodger so is swapping if her's lets her down..."

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/06/2007 14:38

Am trying to reply, but keep getting distracted by my Christening dress thread, so will keep it brief so that I do actually get to post before dd wakes up again.

Empathy and sympathy to Chloe. Have you managed to resolve anything yet? Pop to the loo in Pizza Express for free nappies if you can get to one!

Amazed at how long your ds2 normally sleeps for macca - that's a helluva nap!

I know all the Oliver songs - did it as school play twice!
