Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Frizbe · 15/06/2007 20:57

Oh no Phoenix I'm guessing you need a nice glass of plonk and an early night eh, however as your nattering on here to us, you'll get neither

Macca you got any plans for the night?

I quite fancy a bottle of red, but that would mean I have to go shopping, bah.....still providing there are no more illnesses in the house, I'm out tomorrow night in Brum! hurrah, birthday drinkies for my friend

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 21:00

I've got lager

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 21:05

I must go and get some booze in a mo!!

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 21:23

Ds2 is still up. We put him back up over 20 mins ago and he is screaming. He's been keeping us entertained with his dancing. We have moved ds's cd player into his room and put the music on which is calming him down a bit but he's not settling. It means he'll sleep in in the morning which dh is happy with but I wanted to get a run in before we head away.

We've just polished off a couple of glasses of Wolfblass

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 21:26

I can her 'Bobinogs' throught the baby monitor! Nope, it's now the Shiney Show! How can you have a civilised evening with that going on in the background.....

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 21:28

you can't, wolfblass, sigh, how I'd love a glass or two of that......must go peruse the booze cupboard soon.

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 21:29

soon it'll be bedtime!

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 21:30

you hope!

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 21:31

right off to do something else, have fun for the rest of the evening without me!!

Jas · 15/06/2007 22:00

Have fun Frizbe

I have no rain, and 1/2 a bottle of wine. Anyone around?

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2007 22:17

I'm watching the first ep of 6 feet under with some very cheap wine - not good stuff but getting me drunk which I wanted

Met my ex best friend from school today (she was a bitch to me all through senior school, but I didn't have the confidence to make friends with anyone else - mainly because she took it from me!!)... DD was running round her normal hyper self, and I said that she was like it 24/7, so she said "That's why you look so shit and knackered then" . I haven't been able to wear makeup due to hayfever, my face was numb from the dentist, and its been the hectic stressy week - yes, I don't look ideal, but I am not the size of a house like she is! (All of you worried about your weight, believe me you have nothing on her).

I never managed to go back and catch up on what was happening during my stressed shop period - can anyone recap for me please?

Oh - and bouncy news here that doesn't affect any of you but I wanna share anyway - the reflexologist passed her exam

ChasingSquirrels · 15/06/2007 22:20

at friend - dump her!
can't remember any of the posts, will just have a quick scroll, thunderstorms, roofers, booze...
dh away for the weekend and ds1 staying at my parents for the night, just need ds2 to have a lie in (and pigs might fly).

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2007 22:23

Oh, she was dumped many years ago (the summer holidays after GCSEs) - but still has the ability to make me feel like sh*t in a 2 min conversation

A bit at being pleased that I have children when I know she wants them... to be fair though, they've been waiting for a "sensible" time - not merrily getting knocked up without thinking about it

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2007 22:24

Thinking lie in thoughts for you!

DH is bonding with his children on Fathers Day whilst I take mum to Borders - tis her first one since grandad died and I don't want her to be alone

Jas · 15/06/2007 22:25

First ever episode, or a new series I haven't noticed?

Well I sincerely hope you punched your "friend " in the face, or at the very least remember never to see her again.

Well done reflexologist....will you still get free treatment? (My bf did hers before I had ds, and practices on me occasionally)

You've missed
Chloe going on holiday

Frizbes dd with the runs

Phoenix being up all night due to leaky roof/stormy weather

csws is at her mums

I've been trying to bike ride

Someone (more than one) wants to be a personal trainer. I think macca and Frizbe, but not sure.

Jas · 15/06/2007 22:27

There is no"sensible time" to have children.

ChasingSquirrels · 15/06/2007 22:27

lol at getting merrily knocked up - are you quite young then?

ds gone to the 24 hr race at Le Mans with his dad, they go most years, also his birthday on monday, so better get the kids making cards at the weekend

Jas · 15/06/2007 22:28

I'm bored with Facebook. I am too old I checked all my old schools, and the only person not born in the 80s (I left school in 1987) that I can find is my brother, and I already know what he is doing.

Jas · 15/06/2007 22:29

Do you mean dh CS?

Flame is about 10 years younger than me, and looks about 14!

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2007 22:31

lmao @ "trying to bike ride"

for the roof and rain (I caught that soemthing was going on, but couldn't concentrate enough to work out what).

@ personal trainer - they sound far too scary.

I think for CSWS being at her mum's... but that all depends if she likes her really!!! Is MrCSWS there?

for runs

Dunno about free reflexology - think the occasional one is on the cards.

Forgot to tell you about DD today - dropped from standing to her knees... on DS's chest

DH sent her to bed, I went up and explained that she is much much bigger than him and she could break his bones (like her arm), or make him dead and gone forever... with that she sobbed her heart out, she doesn't want him broken or gone forever, and will never, ever, ever sit on him again. We have had issues with her before being too rough with him, and she just doesn't "get" that he feels things like she does and will get hurt. I don't know if it's a normal 4 yr old thing, or an AS thing though - my mum says my sister was the same with the cat.

ChasingSquirrels · 15/06/2007 22:31

duh, yeah dH, dont think i would want to look 14, wouldn't mind 22 though!

Flamesparrow · 15/06/2007 22:32

6FU is the first ever one - series I always planned to watch but didn't

I'm 26 now, I was 21 when I fell for DD.

ChasingSquirrels · 15/06/2007 22:33

ouch at falling on him! whats AS? ds1 can be a bit rough with ds2 - I have done the make him dead and gone forever thing, it did seem to have an impact.
