No thunderstorms here. Just a couple of very short showers.

Jas · 15/06/2007 07:26

Morning all,

How is the weather looking today Phoenix? I hope it is ok for the roofers to get back to work.

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 08:07

absolutely pissing down still Jas. The water was pissing down our light fitting again at 2.30am cos the box we had catching the water, in the attic, was full and overflowing so dh had to go up and empty it. Then we were awake another couple of hours talking about how shit our luck is and how it always happens to us

I'm supposed to be going to my friends wedding reception tonight and i'm so not in the mood

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 09:16

Yay dh has spoke to the roofers and they're on their way, with their waterproofs, to seal up the areas that are leaking

mustrunmore · 15/06/2007 09:18

at thunderstorm!

at running in front room! Like when dh got his bike, he went round the garden for 20 mins before going into the real world!!

macca, get the trainer, then just pass on all the tips to me, in a suitably scarey voice

csws, sorry, forgot to answer you before. No travel cot because he had the bigger samsonite bubble, which he grew out of ages ago in terms of size and it being just a cage for a boy. There's no point in us getting a umbrella-that-folds-into-a-rectangle one, as they're too heavy to carry with 2 boys and luggage and a buggy! Thanks for the loan offer though.
And I wouldnt miss the piss up for the world, dont fret

Jas, what was the last update on your fence? Anything? Did I miss that bit?

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 09:52

Macca it`was phoenix in the living room not me!

FlameI had to scroll too?

Phoenix glad the roofers are coming out, dh hasn't gone to work today, as on a roof at the mo again too.... .

Glad he's not actually as dd2 very poorly still won't leave my lap dirolyte and two biscuits is all she's had to eat today......2 x yogs and a biscuit yest too

mustrunmore · 15/06/2007 10:01

Friz, that really does sound like ds1 last week.

Flame · 15/06/2007 11:16

Argh - i'll play with the scrolling later today

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 11:57

Friz, it was a typo, I knew it was pg.

When ds2 had it before Christmas, I was told to give him live yoghurt and stewed apple, or honey byt eh Dr's, but that was after a week of not keeping anything down....

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/06/2007 13:26

Told you they'd come out if they knew there was a leak pg!!

How unusual to recommend yoghurt - normally they say to stay off dairy totally! BRAT diet is supposed to be the way to go.

Just a quickie - gotta try and pack without waking up dd (once she actually goes to sleep ). Won't be on til late this evening as will be travelling once we hit dd's bedtime, but will try and have a quick nosey in once we get to my parents and she has resettled.

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 19:54

Have a good weekend at your parents CSWS hope you don't have to encounter any flooding....

MRM/Macca thanks for the advice, I've stayed off the diary kinda anyway, well no milk or yogs, but she had a cream cheese sarnie for lunch, cause she loves those and finds them hard to refuse no matter what and a bicky again, then I left her with dh and took dd1 out with me to shops, got back and she'd done a lovely poo, which dh described as like double cream then for tea she's had a bit of cheese on toast with dd1, and a tad of rice pudding, which she scoffed like it was going out of fashion no poo so far, fingers x'd she's on the mend......so bit crap re the no diary really

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 19:56

Awwww hope she gets well soon friz.

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 20:02

Ds is sleeping at my mums tonight so me and dh are aiming for an early-ish night and a lay in after been up at 2.30-5ish fixing leaks, checking leaks, worrying about leaks etc.

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 20:03

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 20:05

Bloomin ek turned into Jas

Macca, ya jammy git, thrown it down for the last two days here.

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 20:09

but it is really really humid.

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 20:27

Macca you are very jammy, what us poor wet soddern semi northerners wouldn't give for humid right now (especially Phoenix) so when your sleeping on top of your duvet tonight, with the windows wide open, just think of poor phoenix with the drip, drip, drip of rain through her roof

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 20:33

. Hopefully its temporarily sorted for a good nights sleep tonight.

Frizbe · 15/06/2007 20:40

hurrah!
has momentarily stopped again here, but looks black when I look north!

2boysmacca · 15/06/2007 20:48

well don't look north then

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 20:52

I'm sick of watching weather forecasts they're depressing me.

Phoenix · 15/06/2007 20:53

I'm meant to be at my workmates wedding reception tonight but i just feel so tired and crap and haven't gone.
