mac

Phoenix...If you are going to do the RFL in 3 weeks, you need to get past feeling stupid.

I look pretty daft on my bike, going so slowly up the hills that people walk past me, but will still do it.

No one will notice you, I promise.

Argh - don't tell me its too wide again!!

Is it for everyone?

This is bugging me now, I must have the shakes this evening. I will go and have a glass of wine, and come back after I've watched a bit of telly.

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:01

It depends what you mean by wide? I'm on a mac and find it's wide in terms of personal preference, but it all fits onto the screen so it's not technical iyswim?

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:02

but then you might send 4 postings after a glass or two of wine

Good for you out ont he bike Jas, how often are you able to get out? Bum sore yet or have you ridden through it?

Jas · 14/06/2007 21:04

It must just be me. It won't fit on the screen. The box on the right where it says "more information" only gets to "more informa", and I have to scroll across.

Jas · 14/06/2007 21:06

My plan is to go every evening, but can't do tonight as dp is out. I'm starting with 1/2 hour, and once I'm confident again I will get a seat for ds and go out on it during the day.

Bum is very sore.

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:09

What's your display resolution (apple, system preference, hardware, displays) go for your max and it should adjust

Jas · 14/06/2007 21:09

I will be buying this as soon as I can.

Flame · 14/06/2007 21:09

As long as its fitting on the screen that's all I am worried about for the time - will fiddle more tomorrow

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:10

Now why is that and how is it that a few rides on and it doesn't hurt??

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 21:11

It was wide when i looked earlier

I'm going out walking but i can't bring myself to run for some reason. Although when i'm with the dog i do run occasionally. I think if i can run for 5 mins without looking half dead i would do it iykwim, but last time i tried i took about 5 steps and couldn't breath

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:12

the resolution question was aimed at Jas, why your page doesn't fit her screen.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/06/2007 21:12

I'm on a mac and it's not too wide for me.

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:13

Pg you're running too fast. Walk briskly for 5 mins then try a very slow run for a minute, then walk briskly for another 5 mins etc....

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:14

Is it really humid anywhere else? I'm cooking here, it's unbearable!

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 21:16

i just get inf on the information box at the top and have to scroll accross for the rest.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/06/2007 21:17

Humid here too, unsurprisingly.

Jas · 14/06/2007 21:18

Humid here, despite the thunderstorm earlier.

I've fiddled with the resolution (thanks macca for the nice clear instructions) and can have it fitting but with smaller print, or everso slighty too wide, but big enough to read, so it is obviously just my settings that are causing it. I won't complain any more, and unless everyone else has the same problem, just ignore me Flame.

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 21:22

The thunderstorms seem to be passing us by. Saw a few flashes of lightening alst night but no thunder and today heard a very long rumble of thunder but then nothing. Lots of rain though, good for our new lawn

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 21:25

Lots of rain here inside and out lol. Hope it stops tomorrow so the roofers come back. At least we've stopped the leak that was coming down our light fitting and onto our bed.
