You want to spend time with your family

(psst - which you clearly don't, you wanna spend it in the gym )

Writing is now static.

On top of all that I have the reflexology exam today (my feet are being used), Psycho called me last night to say that her DD1 has hurt her thumb, been in A&E all evening, and might have to go back tomorrow - but she would still take DS and DH might have to come and help out whilst they are at the hospital?!!?! How is he supposed to sod off out of work mid morning????

So - frantic phonecall to Stepmum last night to get her to have DS (which she did straight away ), and Psycho should be ok to collect DD but have mum on standby for that too. I had just sorted all that when I was trying to fix the scrolling thingy on the front page, and Kel told me about the stock issues.

Gotta grab nappies, wash my feet, get across town to drop DS off, go get feet done, pick him up, get DD, go back to school for induction & meeting (which I have to try and keep DS quiet during ), and then I can come home and try and sort this mess.

Oh no, I can't - I have to get DH first. he can cook dinner!!!

Well, in the evening, we'd both just be watching telly anyway, so I might awell do something useful! Ds2 has no travel cot onw, so he'll have to sleep in our bed

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/06/2007 10:13

Sounds like a fun day flame .

Why no travel cot mrm? Sure you could borrow one (poss from us depending on date).
Never been to Brighton - didn't realise it was all pebbley. You've put me off going for a day trip in the summer now!
6 eggs? Hmmm .

Right, must go, post office then toddlers beckon.

Frizbe · 14/06/2007 10:26

MRM not sure what spurred dh on, I think it was just the fact that he has to keep thinking about condoms (I knew that'd get to him eventually!!) so anyway he's been to dr's this am, and is now refered to our local hospital, about 5 mins away! where apparently they do small op's like this and it should be 1-2 mths.....so we'll see.
Am rather proud of dh this am as he really does hate the medical profession. However having given birth to two kids, its his turn for a modicum of pain non???

How's your dh now anyway? all ok?
Oooh re hotels, try Travel Inn at Pool Holes Bay, other side of Bournemouth to flame I think, but its right by the town centre quick walk over some grass, looks odd when you get there, but you go thru the back entrance of the shopping centre and come out in hustle and bustle!! then its half mile to quayside. Hotel overlooks estury but not beach and the family rooms at Travel Inn's are good. We always aim to stay at them when on the road, last time we had ss down one side of the bed, dd1 down the other and dd2 in travel cot (they provide) with the bed being big enough for all 5 of us in the morning watching tv as well! (Travel Inn not Lodge, Lodge are pants and give away your room if your not there on time) There are Travel Inns at Christchurch as well, though they're on the ringroad into Bournemouth, again a car trip to beach. Pool I think is the nearest.

Flame, sorry haven't been on, to look at site or anything, but sounds like everyone has sorted things for you? if you lived nearer to us, I'd recommend my mates dh to do you a few pics.....reckon the hub2dee option is a good one though.

Phoenix I think I've tried to add you to my facebook?
Hope your mn friend's baby is doing ok? how's your friend with things?
Sorry to hear about the roof situation, we got shed loads of very heavy rain last night about 6.30 pm, dh took a further half hour to get home due to flooding......its forecast to rain all day today and tomorrow soz hon....can they come out to secure it somehow?

Chasing Sq's lol at the boys

Hello everyone else!!

We'll dd2 is poorly today, not in herself, just her bum this am, although she threw up at 8pm yest as well???? but we're talking liquid squits.. luckily dh is home as dr's then rain!! so can't work outside today, thus he's going to look after dd2, whilst I take dd1 out with her friends as usual, hurrah!! (also good as another mums birthday tomorrow, so we're celebrating today!) I'm hoping it has nothing to do with the large amount of float she consumed at swimming yesterday got stuck in her throat, 2 slaps on her back and that lovely chunk of red and yellow float was swallowed instead of spat out I hope it digests.......

Frizbe · 14/06/2007 10:26

yikes huge post award....

mustrunmore · 14/06/2007 10:33

That sounds just what ds1 had, Frizbe. He was sick for one night, has had squits ever since.Thought I'd caught it too, as had to stop running last night, but it didnt come to anything

Dh is fine. Last night he announced he was ready for sex, to which I rplied that he still had stitches that I didnt want to touch, and he might explode anyway

Frizbe · 14/06/2007 10:35

lol at exploding dh hmmm yep I'm hoping that she's not got what dh had last week....although I thought she'd already had it, cause dd1 did, then she did, then dh did and I didn't!!!! but now she has again? doh

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 10:36

My friends birth announcement for those interested

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 10:39

Our attics a mess, more leaking round the dorma window now, buckets everywhere. Dh doesn't think they'll come out in the pissing down rain so he won't ring them. Hopefully if we can catch every leak it'll stop it coming into our bedroom til they come back. Still very pissed off

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 11:31

Ds has just sat still on my knee for the entire length of the telletubbies (sky+ it to keep for when he's been a pain ) and is back to running around now Postman Pat is on and isn't the slightest bit interested in the TV.

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 12:31

You lot were busy this morning. No rain here although it is really really humid. Off to thegym in a couple of hours, going to see about getting a personal trainer. I need to target my baby tuma nd I need help tackling it.

Boys have jibbitz. Ds has a duck, ladybird and dog and ds2 has a duck and dog. They look cute!

Hope poorly babes are feeling better soon. Leaking roof gets fixed pretty smartish and you find a nice holiday place to stay. Cowley manor is very nice, and they do lovely spa treatments

MRM dh has no conversation either, unless we are with friends and then he is Mr Sociable, life and soul of the party. Get him back home and he rarely speaks. Actually that sounds harsh, he does speak to me but he never has anything to say. Every few months we ahve the same arguement, that he never bothers communicating. I swear if I didn't chat to him we could go for days without speaking

Better go and clean up, dishwasher needs emptying, hoover needs running and I need to get redy for the gym.

Flame · 14/06/2007 18:03

I promise faithfully to catch up on everythign properly when the kids are in bed...

for now - the stock is now in stock (so you may order as n when you wish Kel ), and look what LittleLapin has come up with for the front page! here !! I will do the proper page like it as soon as she tells me how

OP posts:
Frizbe · 14/06/2007 18:57

Flame it's looking good lol at the UPS thing, it makes me smile
The only thing I would say is I don't think you need the Bumfluff fading into different colours and back again, makes it look to busy (IMO) just stick with the one colour.

Macca, sorry to hear your dh is being like that mind you mine goes through phases where he's being like that too, although mainly(WOW)online chatting is done, I just seem to not exist.....so I sit on here talking to you lot

dd2 is proper poorly poo central, and dd1 is playing up too, sigh.....hers is jealousy and tiredness, don't want tea, don't want to go bed, don't want to clean teeth etc, etc, needless to say she's in bed, hungry, with dirty teeth and no story

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 18:59

Much better, but I would still reduce the font a bit more to reduce the scrolling.

First PT appointment booked for Tuesday morning. He is giving me an hour 'freebie' then I can decide if I want to do a course of sessions with him. I'm sure it's not a freebie, he'll just be looking at my statistics and at how unfit I am, something you get free with joining a gym anyway.
Boys in bed, masterchef about to start. I'll just check on the chilli and sort out the rice and then I'm going chill for the night.

Frizbe · 14/06/2007 19:23

hmmm Macca, well I hope it helps and it doesn't cost you a bomb!

I'm not sure whether to go gym or not tonight.....should really go tomorrow and have a break today.....ummmm....

2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 19:35

Hmmm, it will cost a bomb but I really need a new focus. Pre kids I went to the gym, worked out really hard but did what i fancied because I was very slim. Now I have excess blubber and the exercises I used to do, just aren't shifting it. We'll see how it goes, but I need to persuade dh that it'll be worth it! My arguement so far is that I've been toying with becoming a personal trainer for 5 years now but the shape I am in, I could never be taken seriously. Dh keeps urging me to give it a go rather than just talk about it so he might well give me his blessing.

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 20:30

Looks good Flame

After doin a bit of running are you meant to feel like you've been kicked in the ribs or have i unknowingly been tensing myself. Over the last 3 nights i've been running on the spot or round the living room and building up the time each night (i've decided i'm too fat and embarrased to run outdoors) RFL is 3 weeks on Sunday aaaarrrrgggghhhh.

Frizbe · 14/06/2007 20:36

Phoenix I can picture you now!
Get out once the rain stops eh.....

Macca, I'd been toying with the same idea!! not sure exactly what quals you need for personal training though?? any ideas?

Phoenix · 14/06/2007 20:40

I can't i feel stupid

Flame · 14/06/2007 20:43

You feel more stupid running outside than you do circling your lounge

I'm not sure if changing the front page has had some magical effect, but orders are flooding in

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 14/06/2007 20:49

There are lots of routes you can take Friz, but the more beneficial ones are those that include nutrition. I can't remember who it was with, but when I was seriously looking, the cost of the particular course I was interested in was £3000. I was doen over 9 months. I think it was something like, Premier training??

at the picture of you running on the spot Friz. I think you need to get out and run, not in your living room. Even if you can't bring yourself to run, you wanna build up to walking the 5k.

Jas · 14/06/2007 20:50

Loving the image of running round the lounge.

Yay for more orders, whatever the reason. The front page is growing again. It is too wide. Is it my ac causing it?
