I can't bring myself to use frozen milk. It just doesn't seem right.
I buy 12 pints on a Saturday whenI have the car, then at least another 4 every day during the week. Getting it delivered is expensive but I used to get 1 pint a day so I always knew if dp drank itin the night (he gets indigestion) I'd have enough for the girls breakfst, but my mlkman retired and the guy that took over delivered every other day only, at about 10am!
One of dps good points is the frequent phone calls throughout the day, and the fact that he always buys milk on his way homee if I ask.

CS - I did lol at the dogs breakfast.

Kel - I forgot to say earlier, but it does sound like he is trying to pass blame onto you/your friend to ease his own conscience.

csws - no bike ride yet dps friends funeral was today so he's been out at the wake all evening

Jas · 12/06/2007 07:43

Morning,
I hope you aren't up yet Phoenix....how did he sleep last night?

Glad to see jAS YOUR MILK CONSUMPTION ooops is like ours, we get through loads of the stuff. Milk freezes fine do it lots dh is very good at shopping have to say and often goes on way home for milk or bread. In fact he does more shopping than me but I have to do lists for him
Head better today but still fuzzy, finally going to hospital today having been refered urgently 2 1/2 mths ago.

mustrunmore · 12/06/2007 08:53

My exh froze milk in a glass bottle once

We get through loads here too.We get most from the corner shop, but thats sooo pricey (as is having a milkman), and they dont do skimmed or soya. Dh gets some on his way home sometimes, or the lodger brings some when he comes. I usually text him a shopping list

csws; not telling. You and Jas could def do it faster than me.
Did an outdoor run last night; did 1km on the treadmill, then text came through to go out to the park. Did mainly walking though; just couldnt get myself in gear. Prob 70% jog 30% walk and talk

Figleaves undies? I'm still on my 6 yr old M+S g strings Suppose they're even older than that now.

Kel, just let it all wash over you. Men are rubbish. I'm having a text argument as we speak!

Flame; still waititng for a recent pic of you! Doesnt even have to be scantily clad, as long as I can see how skinny you are

Er, dh has booked hol starting the Friday of the piss up weekend And that was our time for going up to Mums So I guess I'm doing alot of travelling those days, and spending less time at home

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2007 09:20

lmao @ freezing milk in glass bottle!

Was it an interesting experience.

Photos - I have no recent photos of me. Been discussing with DH that he wants one to stick on facebook (of him) so we will do a photo session one day soon.

Phoenix · 12/06/2007 09:50

I certainly wasn't up at that time Jas Dh got up with him about 6.30am and left me in bed til 8.30am I'm thinking its the heat that's waking him up cos he's been up and down every couple of hours. His bedroom is between 22 and 24 degrees all night long.

Chloe55 · 12/06/2007 09:58

Morning, haven't been on for a couple of days so have just been catching up.

Well done those of you who did the RFL at the weekend - mine is sometime in July now.

Tea - yes my mother is another who seems to think that ds needs to have a cup every now and then Now ds is in a bad habit of bugging you when you are drinking a cup now.

Ds has decided that he will say 'no' to everything at the moment but it's more like a 'nope' which goes up at the end, he sounds so cheeky! He is letting me know when he has had a poo now by coming up to me holding his nappy

Did I mention I was going to Ibiza tomorrow?

Jas · 12/06/2007 18:08

No (or if you did I missed it)
Have a lovely time

Boy is very screachy, and cons me into thinking I'm going to get a cuddle and then bites my shoulder. He thinks it is very funny.

I don't.

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 18:56

Ibiza, you jammy git Chloe have a fab time girl!

Flame, hasn't CSWS got a more recent pic of you for facebook??

MRM thanks for that, he's made an appt at docs to discuss it all on Thur am this is not like dh at all!

Kel, sorry to hear your dh is being a pain, his behavious is still quite irrational eh, sounds to me like he's trying to control you, by telling you he's 'definatley not coming back now' like you wanted him to.....

Chasing and Macca, booo re the milk and the shopping, men are totally pants eh, which reminds me, I gotta go dig in dh's van for my hair brush (been using dd1's for 2 days) as he reckons its not in there, when I know it is, cause I saw him put it in there at the weekend when we were away. He's looked everywhere, honest. Pah.

Not been doing much here, worked all day yesterday and today spent ironing and cleaning, had to buy a new iron today, as old one blew up! 10 years old though, so not too bad a buy, as was a cheap one at the time.

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 18:57

Oh n think we're teething, another two on the top bizarely, as that'll be 6 on the top and still only the two on the bottom?!

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/06/2007 20:25

Still teething here too Friz. Seems to be neverending, which means she's still driving me nuts wanting to bf all of the time. Found another tooth through the surface to match one on the other side today, so we're up to 5 on the top with just 2 on the bottom. Still can't work out whether they are molars or canines though .

Didn't realise it was tomorrow you were off Chloe, but I did obviously know that you were going. Have a fab fab time.

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 20:33

Snap then CSWS, so is it just us two with dd's with the least teeth then??

Dh just driving me nuts, gone all snappy....grrrrr....working with your dh is argh at times, not my fault the system Ref's want a meeting, I'm trying to organise it, but not enough free time, so people aren't agreeing on weekends etc, not my fault!!!

Sorry rant over...

Flame · 12/06/2007 20:46

Not one that I like Friz

Argh for teething and hooray for Ibiza

2boysmacca · 12/06/2007 21:02

Yeah have a great holiday Chloe

Not sure how many teeth ds2 has, but there's been none for a long long time. His molars have been threatening to come through for ages but they are just swollen and sore. He bit the end of his dummy off this evening!

Lovely day today. Not sure what the weather holds for tomorrow but I'm either going to Wimpole or softplay.

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 21:05

ok so dd2 has turned into a contortionist, yelling her head off, so I go in, she's got both arms inside her sleepingbag and has turned it the wrong way around I can see pj's and a blanket on the horizion, followed by the child that climbs out of the cot........

Jas · 12/06/2007 22:02

Frizbe, ds has 7 teeth and no sign of any more.

I went out on my bike this evening I'm not used to a racer (Haven't ridden a bike at all for 10 years) and was a bit wobbly to start with, but I found a quiet hill to go up, and quite enjoyed it. Definitely more fun than running.

The saddle is not comfy at all csws! I will have to buy a big fat old ladies one (I had to with my old mountain bike, too. I must have a very bony bum!)

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/06/2007 22:20

for cycling. Obviously my skinny arse found it very comfortable .

Have just had to administer drugs to dd, so maybe there's another tooth coming too? Time will tell.

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 22:21

crikey Jas well done you, racer sadles are so thin, could you buy another one??

Frizbe · 12/06/2007 22:22

hmmm didn't do drugs here, seems my little contortionist was happy once I took her out of the bag, found a pair of dd1's old pj's (in the right size, so guess dd1 did the 'lemme outa the bag' thing too) so she's asleep with a light blanket over her now

Flame · 13/06/2007 07:49

The nappies I wanted to stock months ago are finally available... and I have no spare funds How the hell do I get £400 by Monday???

OP posts:
Flame · 13/06/2007 07:52

Oh and two people that have previously bought from me I know have just put in large orders elsewhere... that's not a good sign is it?

My postage prices are a big issue I think... I am going to look at other sites and revise them. I like the idea of free postage, but it involves adding a bit to the price of everything, and where a lot of sites give free postage over x amount, people tend to just buy big orders elsewhere because it is cheaper overall.

Argh.

Sorry - a bit preoccupied this mornign and rambling... not actually read last ngiht's stuff

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 13/06/2007 08:18

I'd like to offer some wise words of advice Flame, but as I've never bought proper nappies, I cant All I can say is that with anything else, I aways look at the over all price, so free postage doesnt swing it for me necessarily!
You need to come up with a get rich quick! Do a weekends pole dancing

Friz; so what was the final straw then, thats spurred your dh to make the appointment? BTW, did I mention it wa sabout 4 months till the hospital appointment came through, then another several for the actual op date? So dont get too geared up yet, its not worth thinking about for at least half a year!

Urghhh... bikes Painful things.
I must say, I was looking in the bike shop last week and they've got those kangaroo jumper things I really fancy that, but couldnt do it with the kids about!

Flame · 13/06/2007 08:20

If they'd let me keep my bra on to do it - believe me it would be an option!!

No-one wants a stripper with norks round her bellybutton though
