oh that is wonderful news for GGG. Sniff!

CeeBee gorge pic of the adorable Josh, and yes what wonderful hair he has! Love boys in yellow.

Just had Toby weighed - guess how much! 27 pounds 2! The lardy lump of love.

Commiserations Lysettes - i tested too early with Toby and was pregnant after all.....

Beadmum · 21/06/2007 15:16

lysette - for you, good luck next month

ceebee - how cute

pretty & kz - all that cleaning is making me think i should be getting on with some myself, just have a cuppa first

hc - hope docs advice of aspirin will help with your migraines, you seem to have them more than not thesedays (((hugs)))

first - as charlotte has just started crawling, issue of babyproofing has just arisen. I felt like i was constantly saying no and shouting her name, have just started removing her from tv, pc, etc and saying dont touch, how long before she thinks its a game charlotte was always stuck if she was on her back and 2 days ago she suddenly figured out how to turn over to then sit up and crawl away. Nappy changing is now a battle.

wallace - good luck with the packing, you'll be very busy

french - congrats to thomas on crawling

charlotte woke up screaming today and nose was streaming, think its teeth, shes been ok on and off today but sleepy.
went out for a walk this morning so nap was later (too nosey to sleep in buggy) and she sat in cot and babbled away for ages, when it was quiet, went to check she was sleeping and she was sound asleep sitting up slumped forward holding onto her toys in her cot, so cute i just laid her down and she stayed asleep

usandnosleep · 21/06/2007 16:26

I started out keeping Zack away from stuff like that but it was bloody hard work so now I just leave him to it

Fingers crossed for you next month Lysettes.

Great news for GGG, can't imagine how she is feeling right now.

You're obviously a good influence Pretty, I don't do anything but eat chocolate once Zack is in bed.

Bless Charlotte

Wow Tobes!! That's a whole 10lbs more than your interweb pal Zack

Missing a few 000000's obviously CB!

HC, I'm glad the Dr has been able to put your mind at rest x

Hope you're doing ok Wallace, make sure you have lots off tea (and biscuit) breaks.

Hi First, how are your pot plants?

Zack awake will try and pop back later and finish post

prettymum · 21/06/2007 16:29

heres some pictures of junior being mishievious!!

junior

cooking chicken curry the way dps mum cooks it!! ive put 3 hot peppers in it, i think dd might need to have something different as i have a feeling my belly will be burning tonight!!

prettymum · 21/06/2007 16:30

jacobandlysette · 21/06/2007 17:21

pretty - that is just so wonderful! jacob has exactly that same cheeky over the shoulder look.

ceebe josh is a great buy for £4 and ditto whoever said he looks loverly in yellow!

we have been at the new house today sorting stuff out - jacob decided that the plasterers tools and the step ladders looked like real fun - cue me running after him all the time!

he's napping in his car seat now so must go and wake him! or no sleep tonight...

TheGoddessBlossom · 21/06/2007 19:47

oh LOOK at Junior being a total minx, that last one is so funny of him disappearing into the tv stand. Cute as.......

TheGoddessBlossom · 21/06/2007 19:49

going for this one of Toby in the bath for his birthday/baptism invites...

Ceebee74 · 21/06/2007 19:50

Do you know I was going to apologise about the babygro as it is actually mustard and I hate it!

HC - glad the doctor was positive. Hope your mind is now rested and you can move on

Pretty - how very cute is Junior and I love the action shots. My mum says babies are like water - if there is a way through somewhere, they will find it

Beadmum - very cute image of Charlotte propped up fast asleep

I am deffo one of the 'leave them to it' mums. Have babyproofed the house as much as possible and I just let Josh roam freely - it is far too much hassle to keep saying no. Have also told DH to only say no to Josh if it is really necessary as he says no to him if he is doing anything slightly out of the ordinary (like banging drinks mats on the table - I mean what harm can that do?)

Poor Josh - has got terrible nappy rash due to his diaorrhea (which I still think may be due to teething). Everytime he poos (which has been at least 6 times today) I dread changing his nappy as he screams and screams whilst I am cleaning him as it is so sore

Just having a glass of rose wine - never had it before (my preferred tipple being anything very dry and white) and I have to say, it is very nice.

Have good evenings all x

Ceebee74 · 21/06/2007 19:51

X post Bloss - what a scrumpster (made up word there!) he is

HumphreysCorner · 21/06/2007 21:10

Yes Bloss-yummy pic. I've still got your two boys lined up for my girls.

prettymum-what a little monkey Junior is. I call Sophie a monkey when she is up to no good and she laughs. She probably thinks that is her name-lol!

Missed last weeks Holby and fell asleep in this weeks episode-doh!

Head throbbing again so off to bed.

Night all

xxx

Beadmum · 21/06/2007 22:34

hc - hope you feel better soon

ceebee - poor josh, hope the nappy rash clears up quick. im a white wine fan but have to say like the odd glass of rose especially on a hot day, might be a while til my next glass then

bloss - gorge pic, toby is so adoreable

lysette - how long until you move in now?

pretty - fab pictures of junior, v.mischievious indeed

us - im the same as you, like to chill once dd is in bed, been trying to avoid the chocolate this week though

ok going to try for early night xx

Twinklemegan · 21/06/2007 22:45

Cor we've got some cheeky babes in the July club haven't we?!

Poor Josh with his nappy rash CB, hope it gets better soon.

Lysette - sorry about the negative test. Do try to relax if you can though and maybe not test so soon - those things cost a fortune!

I'm a pretty relaxed mum here. We're all open plan downstairs so apart from the kitchen Aidan just roams. I don't say no or remove him unless he's doing something dangerous tbh. Plenty of banging drinks mats here, fiddling with the video, playing with a pile of books we're not too bothered about (no ripped pages yet in 3 months bless him). I figure life's too short to say no all the time. I save it for when it's really needed and hope it'll have a bigger impact (yeah right!).

Ceebee74 · 22/06/2007 07:06

Just a quickie before I get ready for work - check out the Tip of the Day - yet another July mum - tis Annie - obviously been busy thinking of good tips whilst 'busy' at work

Beadmum · 22/06/2007 08:14

congrats annie on tip of the day

ceebee - no idea how you have time to mn before work, always amazed how you working mums manage to be so organsied in the morning

charlotte still not up but has woke up crying so many times in the night but got herself back to sleep, even though ive not been up with her i feel like ive been awake most of the night as hear every little sound on the monitor. Dh of course sleeps right through

Have a good day everyone xx

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 22/06/2007 13:36

Horaaaaaaaaaaay Tip of the Day!!
Only two more to get to equal Bloss's record! (Haven't entered any more though...)

Hi Beadmum! I know how you feel regarding the sleeping. At least Charlotte gets herself back to sleep though.

Ceebee, poor Josh, I hope his bum clears up soon. Absolutely gorgeous photo of him, in his mustard babygro!! What beautiful hair!
And, yes, I also have two of those Comfort penguins, HC, both of which MUST go to bed with Joey, along with Tigger and Bugs Bunny Wabbit.

Bloss, as ever, Toby is just edible . Less of the bonkers, more of the going crazy with boredom (but not wanting that to change in case I have to actually do work)

Lysette . Waiting in hope still that you don't get your period. Good luck with the new house too. Tis all go.

Pretty, FANtastic photos of Junior!!! He's gorgeous!!

HC, so glad things went well at the docs. I really hope somebody finds Em's Elephant. Hope the head is better soon. Just wondering if you've ever had allergy testing done? My sis used to suffer from really bad headaches, and on allergy testing found she was allergic to a few things like coffee and prawns. They cleared up after she cut them out (with diffuculty!) Alcohol as well but she couldn't give that up for long (runs in the family...) Just a thought.

Hi First . Just put everything up high. Works for a couple of months anyway. Though yesterday, Joey came running into the bedroom to me, carrying a bag of onions! So he can now reach up to the kitchen worktop... just have to lock the kitchen door now.

Hi to KZ, French, Twinkle and everyone else I may have missed. No doubt I'll be back later with some twattle...

Annie

Hi KZ, who is it inspecting your flat? Them two Scottish wans, what are they called, Aggie and someone? Are they after the ants?
Poor Roshi's bum bum.
LOL at your dusting technique. Much like mine, though without the vacuum... (occasional wet wipe round the telly when it gets a bit hazy)
Finished for today.

AnnieAlcoholLeft · 22/06/2007 15:13

Meant to say, btw, Kayley's eczema seems to be getting a lot better since we started the steroid cream again. Fingers crossed it continues.

MaeWest · 22/06/2007 20:46

Hi all, been offline for a bit, RL intruding and then on hols for a week (Cornwall - lovely if a bit wet and wild). Excited to see a sleep-through for usandnosleep, fingers crossed for more .

DS is a charmer, crawling at top speed, pulling up to standing, trying to let go and falling over, saying 'dada' to his dada, molesting the hoover, turning off the TV, guzzling food... no wonder he doesn't sleep! Altho when we were on hols (rented a cottage) I would bf him when he woke at 6ish and then put him back in his cot, he usually chatted and went off to sleep for another hr so DH & I had mini lie-in. So he can go to sleep by himself. I even settled him at 2am this morning without the boob by sitting by him and telling him to go back to sleep. Shame he then woke up an hr later and I shuffled in zombie-like and gave him the boob. Ho hum... My latest plan is to try and hold him to just 2 night feeds around 11pm and 3/4am (with the hope that I can stretch this to 5 and then 6am).

Meet-up - have looked at trains and think I could get there in 2.5 hrs. Not been on such a long train journey with DS but part of me is itching to try it, maybe just to put the wind up my worry wart DH . Tuesday will be a working day for me, but pretty sure I can be flexible.

Missed you ladies xx

HI MAEWEST!!!

MaeWest · 22/06/2007 21:22

Hi bloss

KZ - I wouldn't mind one night feed but 3 or 4 between bedtime and getting up is just taking the piss. I keep telling DS that if he doesn't shape up I'm gonna get all Gina Ford on his ass

That's not libellous is it? I've read the book and everything....
