you choose - for you or for your bubba

I can't believe the May thread is so excited that their babies are arriving. That time in our lives seems like soooooo long ago .

kitty- DH and I are planning on having a close gap as we want to get the sleep deprivation out off the way altogether and also all our children by the time we are 35.We are 31 now.It took us 3 years to conceive with Deanna so we dont know how long it will take this time.

foxcub-I was thinking of bringing breadsticks and some dips.

foxcub · 26/05/2007 22:58

Fab - thanks Shanks. I'm looking forward to meeting you all on Friday

Shall we aim for 1pm (did I already say that?)

divastrop · 27/05/2007 10:54

kitty-i'm too!

my mum has gone to church with ds and dd1 in tow.she has already gone on at me about not cleaning behind the toaster(wtf???)apparently, there were mouldy breadcrumbs there

dps about to do something to the pc so i will be back later...

Shrinkinglily · 27/05/2007 11:41

mouldy bread behind the toaster? disgusterous!

My mother said she was watching Kim and Aggie and at least my house isn't that bad.

I've just been gutting a bookshelf and I've found a little orange all mouldy, dried out and stuck hard to the wall

Actually my house isn't dirty just always very messy...too much junk.
I'm on a getting rid of stuff project though.

Wasn't dr who fab? I love, love, love it!

eidsvold · 27/05/2007 12:56

[jealous] of your meet up.

aaahh well need to get sorted and organise a brissy meet up - had one organised and it was put off due to early/late pregnancy and family commitments. Hope to organise one a little later this year.

dd3 has been unsettled this weekend - wanting to feed all the time. She seems to be getting a lot of foremilk and not so much hindmilk - judging by her nappies.

Rain glorious rain - to nights in a row -w e need a lot more but some is better than none.

Have just bought tickets to Miss Saigon dh and I will have a baby/child free night out in August - love this show - saw it when I was in the US staying with friends. Can't wait to see it again.

CallieNewMum · 27/05/2007 13:13

DS is doing the sensible thing and sleeping through the rain. Wish I could . It's so depressing on days like this even when we haven't had many. I'm debating whether to delay visit to my mum's till tomorrow, in the hope the weather might improve a bit. Can't believe it's nearly June . Oh, he's waking up I think, hopefully will be less grouchy than earlier... I did manage to get the kitchen cleaned during his extra long siesta so at least it's not even more depressing going in there.

I woke up in the night with a bit of a sore throat, and am really hoping I'm not coming down with something.

Shrinky/Diva/Foxy, I keep looking at the cobwebby strands in the house and thinking I really must do something about them...

CallieNewMum · 27/05/2007 20:41

My god, where is everyone??? Is my computer malfunctioning, or have you all got more interesting lives than me today? Not hard - I haven't left the house.

divastrop · 27/05/2007 20:49

im here.we went to the wacky warehouse type place and had a meal as well.my mother was going on about all sorts of shite and now i feel like crap just when i was starting to feel better.

divastrop · 27/05/2007 21:12

here is my rant

i had to get it off my chest cos im going loopy.its like when i used to go and stay with her and i used to text my best mate saying'I NEED A FAG' and such like.

wake me up when its tuesday.

DollyPopsOut · 27/05/2007 21:25

We've been out all day and I have come home with a sore throat and feel pants. Gone to bed and about to turn off the light. Sorry your ma is being so difficult Diva. Hello everyone else. Only read the last few messages - will catch up properly tomorrow XXX

eidsvold · 27/05/2007 22:24

dolly - hope your feeling better - our dreadful flu lurgy that has done the rounds here started with a sore throat and feeling pants.

dd3 is sitting beside me chuckling and giving dd2 the biggest smiles.

kittyhas6 · 27/05/2007 22:35

Oh God, we've had varying forms of nasty cold/ flu type lurgy here for a couple of weeks now. I feel like pants again today. Ronnie woke at 5 this morning . So I took the opportunity to really clean the kitchen. It's peeing down here.

eidsvold · 27/05/2007 22:46

we had more fabulous rain last night - even feel in hte catchment areas for once. But now a sunny warmish day again.

Shrinkinglily · 28/05/2007 08:26

We are getting away lightly with colds/flu.

I am tired today, it was one of those nights...Hasan extra hungry and ds2 and dd both woke at different times during the night. I would love a couple more hours snooze....

foxcub · 28/05/2007 11:53

we've managed to avoid colds, although DD came up with red welts all over her face/arms/hips last night - they have dissappeared again now - very odd.

We spontaneously drove down to Bath yesterday to see my Mum, so the kids had a fabbo time. I really want to take htem out this week so hope this weather improves - don't care if its cold, just want rain to stop.

We're gong to the Kingston Green fayre later I hope.

We have cobwebs everywhere - plus a few mouldy oranges and breadcrumbs I suspect if I could be bothered to look..

Shrinky your house sounds like ours - full of clutter accumulated over the years which we think we might need one day, but know we won't but can't be arsed to get rid of...

Monti has ceased pooing atm which I kind of like and is back up to 2 feeds a night - 4 hours apart, so not too bad - last night it was 10.30pm, 2.30am, 6.30am, 10am, so I managed to sleep. Have started locking the bedroom door so Dc's can't invade the bedroom at 6am.

Kitty - have you ever been to Camber Sands? I was wondering what its like (for hols, not to live )

eidsvold · 28/05/2007 11:56

had friends who used to go there all the time. I spent a night there - snuck in to visit said friends - saw Bucks fizz as stage show, had too much alco poppy sort of drink, shared a single bed with dh ( bf as he was then) very uncomfy as it had some horrid plastic sheet on it.

Then got up and snuck out and travel down to dorset, devon and beyond.

however friends love it as a family week away.

eidsvold · 28/05/2007 12:06

foxy - that was about camber sands.

foxcub · 28/05/2007 12:07

Thanx! Eids

kittyhas6 · 28/05/2007 12:07

Foxy, haven't been there for yonks. I remember it as a child though and i really loved it, the beach was ace, really sfe. Don't know how much it's changed though. i keep meaning to take the kids there one day.

foxcub · 28/05/2007 14:12

Kitty - we're meant to be heading down this week, so I need to check weather forecast. A MNer has invited us to her caravan, sans DH

kittyhas6 · 28/05/2007 19:24

weather's not looking good foxy

Shrinkinglily · 28/05/2007 19:31

It's chucking here. Thunder, hailstones and sunshine all at once

divastrop · 28/05/2007 21:11

we have had sunshine all day

went bowling(i got beat by everybody except ds2)then we came back and collected dd2 then went for a meal.

im still alive,i think.

my mother is going home tomorrow morning.things werent too bad today.

hope everybody is enjoying their bank holiday weekend.

foxcub · 28/05/2007 21:56

eidsvold · 29/05/2007 04:20
