Think that was meant to be grin - emoticon emmy.

Emmymummy · 13/05/2007 20:35

Bollocks, am going to have to eat my words - Sophie in mega suck-mode this evening and won't settle. My boobs have had enough so dh has just gone upstairs with a bottle for her. CD I think she has a psychic connection to your DDs tonight. shit poo.

Emmymummy · 13/05/2007 20:36

Ah yes, but could do with a gin. (see previous message).

Pinions · 13/05/2007 20:40

Gin makes me cry and cry so prob not the best idea.i'm a strictly brandy or rum and coke girl yum.

As per your hip, i had that a bit, i think tbh its just the shift of weight and your body sort of repositioning itself??? I'm sure it would sort itself out within a few days.......just have a couple of g&t's in the meantime if thats your thing.

CaptainDippy · 13/05/2007 20:43

Glad it is not just me Pinions, my Mother comes a close 2nd to Satan, imho!!

Think I'll join you for that Gin, EM - Is Sophie taking a bottle ok?? Is it formula or EBM? - Phoebe seems happy with both, which is great cos my poor nips can't stand her "dummying", iykwim!!?

Pinions - my hip is absolutely killing me. Feel like an old woman today - have just got over the 'pregnant woman shuffle' and have now developed the gait of an 80 year old. Will deffo get to the GPs tomorrow as I can barely climb up the stairs and it scares me that I might fall when I'm carrying Sophie up & down.

CD - it's formula. Can't bear the thought of expressing too right now, hate the feeling of totally engorged boobs and I don't want to express and encourage them to produce even more! We made the decision that dh would do the 10.30pm feed, so he does this with formula. S seems OK to take both boob and bottle, which is a relief really as at least it means I'm not wholly responsible for feeding her. To be honest I'm not sure how long I'm going to bf for anyway.....we'll see!

I seem to have this thing for cooking at the moment and am in a mad spout of cooking all time, must be a new mum kind of thing, even tho i'm not a new new mum? There are some great recipes on mn, i would never have thought to have looked on here before i was an official mner.

Totally irrelevant and nothing to do with babies post but hey ho!!!

CaptainDippy · 13/05/2007 20:56

Aw, EM - Just looked on your profile - LOVE the pics - the one of Emily and sophie is sooooo ^sweet!! - and you are lookin' mighty fine considering you's just had a baby, laydee!

Awww you're very kind, but I am nowhere near my normal size, believe me. There is not a chance that the zip on my jeans will do up right now!

Dh is upset that his pic was not on my profile so I've just added one of him too.

Hi Ellie (or should I say Ellen?)

ellenkpa · 13/05/2007 21:08
