Tis rainin here and I've got the sh*ts.

How's that compare to your lovely day?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/05/2007 08:38

Rain forecast here too.
Crappy cold getting worse instead of better.
Have weird lump on top lip.
Up in night again with dd (twice, but only fed once).
I'm with those feeling not so positive today.

Just going to look at Alexander stuff now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/05/2007 08:40

Wow - see what you mean about the cost - 15-20 lessons at £25 each is a lot of money!

OP posts:
Jelley · 09/05/2007 09:22

It does help though. The one I went to before ws £30 a session. I'm going to try and do the most basic bits at home and if I keep it up then see if I can get the money together for 6 weeks or so.

Not sure if I'm feeling positive or not Pain is easier to ignore when I'm not trying to sleep. H/v is coming in an hour, so I need to tidy up.

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 09:47

How come the HV is coming Jelley? Do they come back out at certain times in your dc life then?

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 09:48

I have got Home Birth Diaries on series link - Something tells me I am getting ready to have more babies

Jelley · 09/05/2007 10:10

Yay for more babies.

H/v comes if you are a cr*p parent or on the verge of a breakdown No routine visits.

She is actually really nice, and I think my breakdown risk is past its worst, so not too bad really.

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2007 11:28

Oh Jas

(Did you get Jas in the end?)

Jelley · 09/05/2007 12:02

I'm assuming I will get jas...no one has told me I can't have it.

Good newsfrom h/v is that she can refer me for physio locally
Had a long chat, managed not to cry, gave me lots to think about.

2boysmacca · 09/05/2007 12:15

Feeling positive then? Glad you're happier

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2007 12:50

Just because I now can.

GINA FORD!

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 15:48

Just been for a run and actually cried half way round coz I was knackered so have made no improvement and have actually regressed So, on my way home I stopped in at the local gym (I always thought it was a muscle man gym but the guy on the desk was really friendly) and I have picked up a leaflet on exercise classes - in the hope that they will improve my fitness and might be less tedious thanjust attempting to run all the time. Problem is most of them start around 6/7ish which is when dh gets in and we have tea. Oh well, can't make excuses all my life I will just have to eat later!!

Oh, my boss checked my eye - it isn't an ulcer but I have damaged the cornea so I now have some cream for it.

Glad you have got a referral jelley, I need one of those - physio sessions are just too bloody expensive!

2boysmacca · 09/05/2007 16:04

Chloe it does get easier. In all honesty, when was the last time you exercised (I don't mean last week ) if it's a few years, it will be tough. I am knackered when I exercise, I can't see the point in doing it, if it doesn't make you feel like that. You could also be exercising at the wrong time of day for you. I definitely do better first thing, if I run int he afternoon I find it really really tough. Hang in there, you'll do it

We have a digger ont he front drive. Actually, we no longer have a drive, but a huge pile of mud and a very big hole It's keeping ds entertained.

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 16:22

Well hadn't exercised for about 2yrs properly but have been running now for about 3months and it really doesn't seem to be getting much easier. My goal was to run the Race For Life, no walks but this just looks like an impossible mission at the moment and it is only about 4weeks away. I thought I would easily have been at target by now

Frizbe · 09/05/2007 18:00

Chloe not that it'll help but sure I was running for about 6mths before it started getting easier when I 1st started.....
dd2 is fine today btw, thanks for asking

Not on for long as have mate around for afternoon/evening, she's entertaining the dd's as I type, hurrah

Flame for the trots....whats with the Gina, what have I missed?

Jas, hurrah for HV being useful then and (((((Hugs))))))) for the other stuff going on, hope its getting easier?

CSWS Have you sorted your hols then? hope dd sleeps for you tonight.

Kel, can't wait for your run down on tomorrow night could you keep popping to the loo and posting to us bored housewives instead

Macca, hurrah for drive

Flame - are u deserting us?

mustrunmore · 09/05/2007 20:53

Ah, pg, someone else is here
Its all a bit full of doom and gloom reading through this thread today Dont worry all, my positive mood has worn off already

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2007 20:53

My tummy feels nasty Immodium have worn off and turns out I am not better!!! I never get this - and this is now twice in a month

Its annoying me more because I feel like trying out the running thing again

mustrunmore · 09/05/2007 20:56

Flame, on account of the tummy and the desire to run!

I'm still in wanting-to-be-a-vampire mode. Can you dress dh up and see if he's as good at that as a pirate?

Flamesparrow · 09/05/2007 21:01

Not fair suggesting such things when my tummy is like this!!!!!
