I'm there... what am I helpin with?

Jelley · 08/05/2007 17:20

No idea what ds weighs Kel
We will be expecting a full report on Friday morning

2boysmacca · 08/05/2007 17:45

mrm been monitoring the running thread. Felt a bit stupid just pipin' up with this tip so I thought I'd hop over here. Lavender oil on your blisters. Works wonders. Even better if you put it on immediately the shoes start to rub, the blister doesn't even come out. Works really well for burns too. It's amazing stuff!!!

Off to bathe the boys and start the bedtime routine.....

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 18:02

Not a clue Kel.

Anyone realise that Friz is much more chatty to her real postnatal friends?

mustrunmore · 08/05/2007 18:32

But this isnt really a blister macca, its a full blown lack of skin, scraped off, bleeding, in agony! Blisters per se, I can cope with. Just not being skinned alive by clarks shitty sandals

I got new trainers Hoping this'll help. A whole size bigger than prekids Got a really sore heel now, not sure if linked to the sandals wounds! Didnt cost as much as csws's bin though

Well, fancy csws dishing out advice I would have given. And fancy Chloe knowing I'd have said it Am I really so transparent??!! I have to say, sex only works very well. No hassles. Although this was the arrangement with me and dh for the first 18months-2yrs, and now look!

Jelley · 08/05/2007 18:59

I'm imagining you running with bins on your feet now mrm
I hate getting sore feet. Even worse when it is from expensive (ie more than £5) sandals.

I need to exercise (still) but sciatica is back with a vengance, and I can't even think straight, let alone organise myself to get moving.

mustrunmore · 08/05/2007 19:38
Grin
2boysmacca · 08/05/2007 19:47

You need pilates Jelley. Very good for bad backs.

If your heel is hurting, get that lavander oil on now!

I bought some new trainers la couple of weeks ago and they are a size 7....I am normally a size 5!!!!

Jelley · 08/05/2007 19:49

I know, you said before, but there are no classes I can get to

2boysmacca · 08/05/2007 19:50

oh yes you did, sorry

Jelley · 08/05/2007 20:04

I've been looking up alexander technique again (not exercise, but it does help me )but it is so expensive.

maybe I can sell the bin to pay for it....

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 20:07

Fine plan!

Ouch for feet mrm

Frizbe · 08/05/2007 21:33

Flame it only looks that way, cause Astro, Uni, LL and smiley are the only ones posting at the moment
I try and post on the Feb thread at least once a day, but your all so damn chatty I can hardly get a word in

MRM ouch for feet, wear flip flops for as much of the day that you can, I live in the damn things, bar when I'm in the gym

Jelley, can you get pilates dvd and do it when ds has a nap? mind you I got a post pregnancy dvd with dd1 (not used it at all with dd2 ) and I used to do it when she was sat in bouncer watching me, but once she got to crawl/walking stage, she'd not let me do it with her around used to throw a right fit

Anyway, what tricks have yours done today, dd2 has decided to become the andrex puppy

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2007 21:35

What is Alexander technique?

Don't know how much dd weighs. Last time I hopped on the scales with her she was just over 10kg, but that was a few weeks ago. Will try and hop on with her again some time this week.

Still trying to sort out holidays here. Why is it so bloody difficult?

OP posts:
KelBelle · 08/05/2007 21:52

Friz - DS does the andrex puppy regularly, its really annoying!!!!

Ouch for blistered feet!!

I'm still not sure what will happen Thurs night, only time will tell. A good couple of glasses of wine will definately be in order, I'm a cheap date!!! I've only ever been with a few blokes and they have all been relationships except one. Not sure I can do "no strings" I'll see how the mood takes me. I always said when I was married I wish I had had more fun when I was single!!!! Perhaps now I can start eh!!! hehehe

mustrunmore · 08/05/2007 23:18

Flame; forgot to say I posted the shoes today. Second class because I'm so tight

Watched Interview With a Vampire again tonight with lodger

Jelley · 09/05/2007 06:34

Alexander Technique
I had lessons about 4 years ago, and in addition to sorting the sciatica (reason I went) she also managed to get my shoulder into a normal position. I can't do it without help and didn't go for long enough to learn last time.

I neeeeeeeed to see that again now I have finally read the books!

How weird is this - mum's friend is a dog groomer, and she ordered a load of flat nappies and asked me to dye them because they are ideal for it apparently... she took them to a show with her on Monday, and I now have 2 more orders from groomers!!

Jelley · 09/05/2007 07:52

Its a lovely day today I'm feeling very positive

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 08:08

I wish I felt like that MRM.

I have an ulcer on my eye - hence the blooshotness, gonna get my boss to check it out properly today and then presumably (if we're anything like dogs and cats) then I will have to get some eye ointment....yuck!!! It bloody kills though!

2boysmacca · 09/05/2007 08:08

It's lovely here too but it's forecast rain. I'm hoping they've got it wrong.

List of things to do today. 4 friends have had a baby in the past 4 days so I need to buy oodles of cards and presents. I also need to bank in 3 different places, go to 2 different post offices and then on to the butchers. If the boys have behaved, I'll treat them to a little cake in the coffee shop

I'm going to try CSWS chicken casserole recipe today, so we'll see how it goes down with the boys.

Chloe55 · 09/05/2007 08:12

Frizbe - how's your dd today?
