Morning all. What's on everyones agenda today? I have a date with a swiss ball and cycle and then a hotter date with an iron this afternoon once ds is at nursery and ds2 in bed.

CSWS I don't know the ins and outs of it but if it has been sold to the farmer then it is probably right, my parents had something like that a few years back when they were trying to purchase a disused farm. Anyway buying 2 houses and converting into one is an extremely pricey not say stressful way. We looked into buying the flat above us when we were in London. We would never have made our money back and the chances of getting permission were very slim. We opted for a tiny extension for a galley kitchen in the alleyway. Cost us £60k, including all fees

Jelley · 08/05/2007 08:30

I will be repeatedly pressing redial on my mobile, while doing the school run in an attempt to ge through to the drs and get ds an appointment to be seen.

His nappy rash is back, and I've been using his creams since Thursday with no improvement at all. I'm hoping they will take a swab and try and find out what is causing it. I really don't want to keep having to give him antibiotics.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2007 08:38

Oh dear, I hope it's not a food allergy like dd's was.

I will be off to toddlers this morning, and then to the supermarket this afternoon. Need to get some food that dd will eat for dinner so that I don't have to get up and feed her in the night again. She slept fantastically whilst we were away, but not so now we're back (she did resettle after a feed, so wasn't a bad night).

Meeting PG and a couple of others in about an hour and still in my pjs!!!

I hope you get ds into the docs Jelley, I feel sos orry for them when they get bad nappy rash, it must feel so uncomfortable all the time

I hurt my eye somehow at the weekend - think it must have been when I either put or took out my contacts - it is all blood shot and bloody hurts. Doesn't look infected though so I presume I just have to wait for it to clear up on it's own.

My nanna has one of those hoovers in the floor thingys MRM, the sunction on them is out of this world - it's blocked at the moment though and she hasn't got anyone out to it yet so I'mk having to struggle with a shitty hoover that must be 20yrs old when I clean for her!

PhoenixGirl · 08/05/2007 09:01

Mrm - Our bathroom is downstairs too and people think we're mad for not moving it upstairs. Its a bit of a pain in the night but we're used to it. When i was pregnant we bought a porta-loo so i wasn't going down every 5 mins When we get the attic done we were planning on getting a toilet and sink up there but it would have cost a lot more than we thought so we're just getting it done as a bedroom and putting Lew up there and we'll cross the bridge of him needing the toilet in the night when we get to it and i'm guessing even when he's out of nappies he'll still need help to go to the toilet for a good few years anyway.

for Boys nappy rash

We're going to soft play today with chloe (i think she's coming anyway) this morning then i'm at work

PhoenixGirl · 08/05/2007 09:02

Cross posts chloe

For "Sale" - Boys blue T_Bar Doodles with a red boat on the front, Excellent condition. Size 4.5 (doesn't appear to have a width on) Free for small donation to Mile For Maude.

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 10:46

Never heard of hoovers in floor...

Done an hour cleaning fit in my lounge... still far from perfect but a hell of a lot better!

Watched that obedient wife thing last night and asked DH what he would stick on a list for me... he wanted sandwiches and tidying. After pointing out that both of those he could have if he got off his arse and did it himself, asked which room I should try first - this way he thinks I have done something for him, when I had been planning to do it anyway

Now off to do 30 mins work.

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 10:47

Oh for Boy's rash too

Jelley · 08/05/2007 11:11

I thought hoovers in floor were american apartment block things

DS saw a nice dr, who said thrush, was surprised he hadn't been given canestan before, so hopefully should be better quickly.

Soupy - no doodles here, due to fat feet (both dds were h fitting but couldn't get into doodles until they were older and a bit slimmer.)

I will have shoes coming out of my ears if I take the doodles as well.

Am doing a MFM donation anyway though

for thrush but yay for treatment.

Spoken to lovely MN Olivia - we are waiting until I can raise more funds for more prize, but am in the "get back to later" pile

Jelley · 08/05/2007 12:56

Can you help here csws?

KelBelle · 08/05/2007 14:09

Hi Ladies,

I have just discovered DS's 14th tooth!!! That is 3 in 3 weeks. He seems to be popping them out but gets poorly with every one and I was very glad he went to bed early last night as he was driving me nuts

If you were "propositioned" by a friend for sex only would you do it? I am in that situation but it could never get out as my group of friends would not be happy. Havent done anything yet but I am tempted!!! He has been texting me a lot and is coming round on Thurs for a drink but I think it might lead to more. I'm happy for no strings but nervous too as I've only been with DH for the past 9 years!!! Might help me to get him out of my system too.

Chloe55 · 08/05/2007 14:16

Hmmm, well I did have a sex only relationship with a mate when I split up with my ex - it was kept under wraps too as friends would not have been impressed. I felt like it did get things out of my system (particularly because ex was jealous of him anyway). I met dh whilst I was seeing said friend and I ended the relationship, I'm not sure how I might have been if it was the other way round though - 'friend' was a bit hurt but we still get on well.

It depends, do you reckon you might 'fall' for this guy? Would he be more/less into it than you? If you ended up falling out would it really have a big impact on your life? Would your friends be really disappointed? Will it affect your relationship with your ds?

Weigh up your pros and cons Kelbelle. It worked well for me, I did upset a couple of friends (or lets say they were disappointed with me) but they got over it. Hadthe relationship carried on it could have got messy - I was starting to fall for him, hence breaking it off ASAP even though dh and I weren't an item. It lasted 3mths.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2007 14:21

Ah look, there's Chloe giving a nice sensible response. My thought was just - 'hell yes, a shag's a shag!'

Chloe55 · 08/05/2007 14:27

That's coz you're a closet dirty girl CSWS! I would have expected that response from MRM

KelBelle · 08/05/2007 15:05

PMSL CSWS. I'm a bit nervous though, 9 years with one partner is a long time. I dont think we would fall for one another to be honest but then you never know. We did promise last night that if it happened then it would be between us and no one else as we wouldnt want them to find out. DH would be furious too but then he doesnt want me anymore and I do think that perhaps it would help me to realise there is life after him. Hmmm will have to see what happens Thurs, there have been a lot of text messages over the past few nights with him telling me what he wants to do with me etc. Got to admit it puts a smile on my face that hasnt been there for ages and makes me feel a bit wanted again. Thanks girls.

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 15:57

If there isn't likely to be a fall out - then hell yeah.

DH said last night that he only pursued me for sex Pointed out that if he had offered no strings sex it would have been more likely to have happened - the reason I kept turning him down was because I knew if I started seeing him then I would settle down with him, and I was 18 and not ready!!!

KelBelle · 08/05/2007 16:14

Well he is definately coming round Thurs with wine and promises to wear his best aftershave OMG!!! We will see - I will probably be a nervous wreck and nothing will come of it!!

KelBelle · 08/05/2007 16:15

BTW - had DS weighed today and he was 25lbs 3.5 ounces - what are your LO's now?

2boysmacca · 08/05/2007 16:41

Frizbe · 08/05/2007 16:54
