Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PhoenixGirl · 04/05/2007 23:13

Awwww csws i'm here now but its prob too late if you've gone to bed

Dh and i have been out for a pub meal while Lew is sleeping at my parents

My car has been in for a service today (dh's went in Weds) and it cost £293 Everything needed replacing it was in a right state apparantly. It also needed a new tyre and new front breaks

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/05/2007 10:50

Off for weekend now - back Monday afternoon/eve. Have a good one everyone.

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 05/05/2007 11:01

PG

Sorry CSWS - it was a hectic night.

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2007 12:08

Guess we're in for a quiet weekend then - forgot to say goodbye to Friz too!

MRM - parcel came Thank you

More bouncing about shop stuff - in talks to be able to sell the kiwi quick flips I looooooooove those nappies, and she says I can tie dye em too.

mustrunmore · 05/05/2007 14:46

I'm sure thats great Falme, if I knew what you were on about did you like the parcellystuff? Is it stil ok size wise, or has he caught up with Brambles now?

Which shoes to who then? Come on, they're annoying me hanging around! Chloe, was it you for one pair? If no one decides, I'll just give them both to Flame as I still have her address!!!

Did my 5km in 28:19 today. I badly need new trainers now I'm running more. Also went on the ab machine last night; it always causes an argument. I've never been able to do ab wotk and prob never will; any sort of exercise just hurts my back Always has, even when fit!

mustrunmore · 05/05/2007 14:50

Oh, and I had a really sore shoulder in Ikea today, so dh went up the wall and started saying it was a prob a stroke from being such a lardy now

Why does no one make a 70 by 140 mattress???? We need to replace or top ds1's ,as its really uncomfy, and he keeps coimng in our bed! Onlu option so far is getting the closest size in memory foam topper and cutting it , but its £100+ Or getting one from Ikea thats 14cm too narrow and 20 cm too short

Flamesparrow · 05/05/2007 18:04

Did you hit him?!?!?!

Yes, they fit lovely - he is never going to catch up with any of your babies!!!

Shoes - if Chloe doesn't decide then I would like the trainers more than the others (but will have either or both!!)

Jelley · 05/05/2007 20:17

My neighbour had the same mattress problem, and bought an Ikea 70x160 one and tucked the end down the end of the bed somehow.

Do you have more gym equipment in your house mrm? or are you arging with gym staff about the &*^%...whatever you said you'd used (no idea what it is).

DS didn't sleep well last night or today, but has been out cold since 6.30. I suppose I should try and get an early night just in case he's up again, but I haven't eaten yet. It would cook quicker if I put it in the oven. Off to do it now...

Jelley · 06/05/2007 08:47

We're definitely in for a quiet weekend

Nothing planned here. Count me out of the shoe distribution, Flame, I'm sure when I finally get round to measuring ds' feet he will be an H fitting. I have a selection of shoes upstairs I was given when he was born that will probably never fit, soI will distribute them round everyone who can use them once I've had the fat feet confirmed.

Flamesparrow · 06/05/2007 09:23

lol @ the shoe distribution

DS has just launched himself from his cot... really should lower it

DH has got up with the children and asked me if I was going back to sleep or if I wanted a cup of tea and a laptop He's also said i can sod off out to a beer festival later to see a friend singing, and leave him with the munchkins! I tried to convince him of family outing, but this new plan is much more appealing so not arguing.

mustrunmore · 06/05/2007 12:35

Jelley; its only a crappy ab machine from Argos! Not the lying down thing, but the one with a seat , so you can do lots of different angles. I wish we did have room for gym equipment! I'd love to get a cross trainer too. Could prob squash one in the front room if we sacrificed some toys

You can have the trainers then flame, when I get round to posting them!

went out last night;didnt get in till midnight. It was a good night, but I wish I hadnt;soooo tired today! Havent even run yet! Only wandered up to the farmers market and back!!

PhoenixGirl · 06/05/2007 12:41

I've just listed some stuff on ebay and still got loads more to put on cos we need to get rid of some crap out of the attic. But out of the 3 things i've just put on only 1 of them is out of the attic anyway but its big so if it sells it will free up a bit of space

We're not doing anything this weekend either, dh is watching the football soon i'm on here and lewis is running around in a nappy and t shirt

mustrunmore · 06/05/2007 12:45

But what are the 3 things?!

Jelley, I cant see how we could bend it over; its so thick

Flamesparrow · 06/05/2007 12:56

I was baffled by the bending too...

And am also intrigued about the 3 things!!!

Yay for trainers

You will get something one day...

Did I say that I ordered the children crocs?? Originally ordered black for the little man, but they aren't in stock so he's having choc brown and DD is having mickey mouse pink ones

PhoenixGirl · 06/05/2007 13:46

A kodak digital camera cos we've bought a new one, my old mobile phone cos i upgraded and an air glider/walker that i begged dh for and only used it a few times and its now just shoved in the attic.

We are having a really unhealthy dinner of cheeseburgers and chips

Jelley · 06/05/2007 15:00

Don't know about the matress bending. I'll take a look when I'm there next week.

We've just done the shoe shopping hell. Lots of money and three pairs of shoes later, me and dp are still talking, which is a bonus. Boy is 4.5h, so the others wouldn't have been any good for us.

He has just cut off the top of his finger cutting up veg for tea, so has gone to the pub to recover

PhoenixGirl · 06/05/2007 17:09

I've cleaned the kitchen All the cupboard and drawer doors, worktops, oven, sink, hob and floor. Very proud of myself

Then we walked down to the park and played on the swing and slide (well lewis did).

PhoenixGirl · 06/05/2007 19:38

So is there only us 4 not going away this weekend?

Lew hasn't had an afternoon nap today and it sounds like he's gone straight to sleep

Does anyone else hate it when peope turn up at your house out of the blue? Some friends came last night just as i was giving Lew his milk before bed so he ended up staying up another hour til 8, our house was a complete mess of toys and clothes and we looked scruffy in loungy clothes. We haven't even seen or heard (well i haven't but dh works at the same place as her) from them since just after Lewis was born and they didn't go home til after 9 so that was our evening gone. They were asking us loads of questions about our dog as they are getting one of the same breed. Not that i don't like seeing friends but a phone call would be nice so we can tidy up a bit

PhoenixGirl · 06/05/2007 19:44

Oooooo just checked i got a bid on the air walker

Ever get that feeling you're talking to yourself

KelBelle · 06/05/2007 22:35

Blimey it has been quiet on here!!!

Not been up to much, DH took DS for the day today and he is having him for a few hours in the morning. He has received letter from solicitor now but hasnt said a lot really. I asked him about the divorce and he just said "well I suppose we arent getting back together" which I replied that if that was what he wanted as he knows how I feel about things. Still no decision though.

I'm just going to have dinner but will be back!!

Good news re bid on airwalker PG!!

Jelley · 07/05/2007 07:17

Good morning!

lol @ PG chatting to herself last night. You should have made your uninvited guests sit in the kitchen where you had done all that cleaning
Well dp is at work today, and it is raining, so I'm likely to be artound all day. Is anyone else here, or shall I talk to myself today?

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 09:07

I knew there'd be something in your loft I wanted pg! Shame you're so far away.

Jelley; I sold a pair of unworn 4.5h's a few weeks ago on here!

Really rainy here today. Off to a craft fair at 11, then a bit of grocery shopping, then maybe to see a friend later so ds1 can play with her dd. Wanted just me and ds1 to go to the craft thing together, as I hardly ever spend time with just the two of us, but he doesnt want to go without his daddy

Had a small person in our bed from midnight last night, again. He was in pain. I suspect it may be where he fell out of a friends back door last night, and landed straight on his lower face; blood from teeth and nose

Jelley · 07/05/2007 09:35

Serves me right for not getting him measured for so long!
