I don't do uninvited guests... everyone who knows me knows they cannot come univited or I crumple in a corner

for your night MRM

DH has finally caught on that I am a mess (DD telling him last night that mummy cryin cos she tired and Daddy has to put her to bed and take over seemed to do the trick!). We're going out for lunch today - money we could have done without spending, but it will be good food inside us all and give us that kickstart we need!

Snugglebumnappies is loooovely - After all the hassle before, she has her own ad, and when someone asked who sold bambineos she did a link to both of us That is the kind of thing I was wanting before!!!

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 11:22

Ooh ooh - Oliviamumsnet is going to call me to sort out giving for a comp

Jelley · 07/05/2007 11:32

I'm glad the nappys are coming together for you.

I'm still FLYing, and now quite like having people drop in My place still isn't a show home, but I'm not actually embarrassed to open the door any more.

Stunningly, dp has been really lovely and actually helped without making me feel worse for needing the help if you see what I mean, this last week.. I hope a night out helps you get back on track.

Well we compromised - first night we stopped in the Travelodge and had very good night and second night we stopped in the cottage which I was thankful for at the end of the night so I could just crawl to bed

MRM - if you still ahve the shoes I'd love them but no probs if you have already sent both pairs to Flame - this is first chance I have had to get on here all weekend!

Dates for piss-up, I mre or less just can't do end of Aug/beginning of Sept (oh and whenever Glastonbury is this year as dh is away)

Jelley · 07/05/2007 12:11

Has anyone got a boy with tiny feet? I've looked at the shoes I was given, and they are all size 4 (Next) or 4f (Clarkes)

I like the compromise Chloe. Glad you had a good time.

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 14:18

Hello Chloe. I just parcelled them up this morning to Flame, but how about she takes her pick then sends a pair on to you? I'm too lazy to redo the package Too much cleaning and running to do!! I've got about a weeks worth of washing to do aswell, and might even have to iron something.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/05/2007 15:06

I'm back. Just sticking my head in the door for now, but will catch up properly later.

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 19:19

Good compromise Chloe.

If you send me your address I'll get the other pair sent out to you

I really want to FLY again - I loved that feeling of confidence, but I keep trying to do too much and once and getting overwhelmed. If I could just manage to shine my sink before bed tonight it would be a start!!!

Another site is wanting to combine with me on a nappy set, so we are discussing doing that as the prize It all depends on if we can just donate a prize or if MN want oodles in ad fees or something.

Jelley · 07/05/2007 19:25

Flame, check out the baby steps thread. There are a whole load of new people just starting. Maybe you could join in and pick it up slowly....

dp bought a new rubbish bin today. It is very nice, but cost alot (he won't tell me how much, and I daren't look it up.) He really hasn't got the hang of living on a budget.

DDs have been lovely today. ds looks like he has been in a fight. He keeps falling over, and has a grazed nose and a bruise under his eye
I'm bored, and avoiding sorting the clean washing.

PhoenixGirl · 07/05/2007 20:14

Let me guess mrm the air walker?

Sounds like you had a great weekend chloe.

for nappy stuff

It's been quite nice here today just 2 tiny showers of rain that quickly dried up. We've been to a gala in the park and to my parents.

2boysmacca · 07/05/2007 20:24

It's been awful here, rain rain and rain again.

Had a lovely weekend. Went out on Friday night for a curry with friends, sat next to James Nesbitt. On Saturday we met same friends with kids and went to the Wetlands Centre. Yesterday we spent the morning with grandparents and in the aftenoon we headed over to Lambeth to seem some uni friends. Sat int he grounds of Imperial War Museum for a few nibbles then back home. Got backa nd had a lovely Chinese. It was my turn for a lie in this morning Been in a bad mood though so not sure what's been wrong, just grumpy grumpy grumpy.

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 21:12

You're funny Macca. I remember the first time my Mum came to see me in London, we went to Tiger Lils in Clapham, and sat next to some woman out of The Bill. She was so excited (My Mum, that is, not the Bill woman at seeing us!) Did you do your 5.8 or however long it was?

Phoenixgirl, how did you guess?! Personally, I think csws should sell me hers cheap, as she's not using it Its bound to be top of the range seeing as she's so posh

Only did 5.5km tonight, in a bad 33 mins. Dont know whats wrong with me.

Jelley, are we talking indoor bin? You can get Brabantia ones that are a pointless £90

Dh put up a shelf today, to put the hifi on, so I can finally have cds on in the front room without having to play them through the treadmill. But he cant find one of the vital leads Its 'somewhere in the loft'.

We3 had torrential rain this morning, but it perked up later(obviously after I'd been soaked coming back from Asda).

Oh, and my marriage has been instantly improved. This is day two of dh wearing jeans again, for the first time in years He wouldnt wear them because he says he's so skinny now he's had to stop weight traiinng (see how we're both unhappy with our selves and our exercise regimes...). But after I called him a complete gypo yesterday, he's bucked up He looks much more attractive. Its the ones he wore to get married in

Did I mention that he's got his hosp date now?

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 21:13

DAMN YOU PEOPLE!!!

I have not exercised in years (and I am not exaggerating) - decided to try out this running thing and jog to tesco (not far away ).

Breathing an issue.

Norks broken through lack of sports bra.

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 21:18

You, with the largest cleavage in living history, went running in a normal bra??!!
Dont worry about the breathing. You get over that hurdle, both short term (run through it, slow down if necessary) and long term(your aerobic capacity will increase). You can strengthen your lungs by breathing into a bag (a bit like when you have an asthma attack!) while you're watching telly for a bit.
I'm very very impressed with you though. Good girl Shame you dont live here!

2boysmacca · 07/05/2007 21:22

We used to have the guy from The Office (the boss who did the Elvis dance) live next door but one to us when we lived in London. Jimmy Kranky and the entire cast of the Bill were always seen at the train station but the best was Mr Baxter (Grange Hill) always used to get on the night bus after throwing out time at the SU Bar

I did the first 1.8 miles (2.9km) in c. 17 mins but really struggled on the way home, just did a mile then walked the rest. The entire 3 miles (4.8km) took about 30 mins (I only have a wrist watch, not digital so can't be precise)

2boysmacca · 07/05/2007 21:26

Well done Flame. We'll all be comparing timings in a few weeks, even CSWS

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 21:26

Thats very good!!

Er, I apparently used to live by The Prodigy, but I wouldnt know them if I fell over them. We always used to be in the gym with the League of Gentlemen people, which was a bit eerie! Dh has seen lots of famous people in their undies, but I cant give specifics on a public forum

2boysmacca · 07/05/2007 21:29

I used to work out at the gym with Janet Street Porter and Dermot Monaghan

Dh's soon to be ex-boss was a famous Soap Star actress but I can't reveal who

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 21:32

My mtae's Tim Curry

I don't think I could squeeze back into my sports bra, and I can't buy a new one on a whim!!!!

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 21:32

The joggin wasn't planned btw - decided as I got outside! Hence the not thinking about bras and being in skinny jeans

2boysmacca · 07/05/2007 21:34

I left my sports bra at the in-laws and I have a gym session to go to in the morning
