2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 14:54

I'm terrible with cream, so I opt for P20. Put it on the norning and coverage all day!

PhoenixGirl · 02/05/2007 14:59

I got that nivea kids factor 50 that comes out green. I never put any on myself tho

Flamesparrow · 02/05/2007 15:34

But if you are sending me things then I feel even more for sitting here and looking at the thing I was meant to post to you months ago

@ your DH Chloe!!!

Forgotten the rest - as normal!

Chloe55 · 02/05/2007 16:10

Right opinions please ladies - do I go with the mauve dress or the blue/white dress? Please ignore the mess in the background - did the typical "I have nothing to wear so gonna strop and throw all my clothes in a heap" type of thing

dress

Flamesparrow · 02/05/2007 16:17

Firstly - your DH is a knob (no offence )

I like the shape that the darker one gives you, but the blue is more summery weddingy.

Not very helpful am I?

Chloe55 · 02/05/2007 16:31
  • I didn't really put dh in a good light earlier did I?! He isn't that bad, he doesn't call me a fat bitch or anything but I know what you mean.

I'm in exactly the same predicament Flame - The purple one is much more flattering at the waist and I have never worn it but the blue one is a bit different.

Flamesparrow · 02/05/2007 16:34

Can you get a cream wrap or something - that way it will summery up the dark one.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/05/2007 17:52

Blue vote here (I always vote blue ).
But if there's an evening do too, you could always change in between and then you get to wear both!!

Been shopping, and I might have an outfit for the Christening too.

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 02/05/2007 17:57

Hmm that's not a bad idea CSWS - I bet we'll just end up in the bar though after the day do and I will forget to change

I think the blue one is 'prettier' but I can wear big hold-ya-in knickers with the purply one and have never worn it. A cream shawl thingy would look lovely with it Flame but I don't think I will have time to get one - I go straight from work on Friday - unless I can trust dh to go into town on his lunch hour and invest!

Jelley · 02/05/2007 18:07

I think they are both nice, but you look stunning in the purple one

2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 18:24

I vote purple too, looks great.

We've got a nightmare coming up with dh changing jobs. He has to pay back his season ticket loan so they are debiting his pay. The season ticket is being credited back to the credit card ratehr than a cheque so we have a bit of a cash flow issue. Lots of credit where we don't want it but nothing to pay the mortgage and bills . I'm hoping dh will persuade rail company to issue a cheque - surely this is quite a normal request. otherwise we are goign to ahve to transfer money out of savings.

mustrunmore · 02/05/2007 19:13

Well, I like the purple one better, but then, I would! It does make your chest look very ample, which is a good thing! Just bung a cream/white flower on it dont trust csws, she just hs a blue fetish, so no clear judgemnent And DO NOT trust your dh to buy anything for you!!!!!

Where's macca? I need to know what I'm running tonight .

Flame, dont worry about it I'm assuming you havent been meaning to lend me a pirate And your parcel A)isnt very exciting B)isnt very big c) isnt for you, its for ds anyway

Frizbe · 02/05/2007 19:41

purple one vote from me and tell your dh to stickt! you look gorgeous

Kel for the divorce talk, hope the conversation when you have it, isn't too painful.....

Flame, yay for stuff hope ds is happy in am

Phoenix, at my spelling! no spell check here, ahem

MRM I did build up to that speed for the walking, so give it a week or two on say a 7 incline at say 7 speed and build up? yay for outdoor running partner!

Hi everyone else!

gotta dash as older kids group (our 1st baby group) night out, woo hooo, off for a Thai!! see you tomorrow

mustrunmore · 02/05/2007 19:58

But its not a build up thing; its not that its hard work (although it is!), its that I actually cant walk at that speed. Its to fast too walk, too slow to run! I justtrip over myself and look like i've got a gammy hip!

PhoenixGirl · 02/05/2007 20:04

The purple dress will match your hair

2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 20:16

I'm glad you said that mrm, I would end up off the treadmill walking at that pace

Won't be running until the gym tomorrow so can't offer anything other than what I hope to achieve on the 3.6 mile at the weekend. I have pilates tomorrow night so I need to be sensible, having said that I'm never sensible!

Dh just gon outside to pain the interior. I'm sure I'll have plenty of bitching to make at him at some point

2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 20:18

Is there a running thread or am I just a bit simple?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/05/2007 20:34

Or is there a running thread and you're a bit simple?

Here macca .

2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 20:42

I just love the way you naviagate this site!

mustrunmore · 02/05/2007 20:45

Now now you two!

Just had big row with dh. Asked him to help me do swiss ball instead of a run, he was a cretin, I got pissed off and got on the treadmill Did 12 mins interval (6.1 and 11.2 at 2 mins alternate). Getting back on for a quick 15 now!

2boysmacca · 02/05/2007 20:51

Too dangerous to have the swiss ball up in this house. Ds2 would launch himself off it.

He's really not settling at night these days. Tonight I had to give him nurofen (again, he's had a dose of something every night for 2 weeks) and let him cry before he'd settle. He has been up at 4.30 continuously for 2 weeks now and frankly I'm shagged. Ds has also been getting up early (understandably) and he's soaked through his night nappy so sheets are being changed every day. I'm finding motherhood truly exhausting lately in more ways than one

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/05/2007 21:00

What on earth is a swiss ball?

Sympathies macca. I hate it when dd is unsettled, but to have 2 of them at it at once must be a nightmare.

(It was just luck that I found the runners thread btw - clicked on active convos and there it was!)

OP posts:
PhoenixGirl · 02/05/2007 21:09

Macca - I had a few weeks like that with Lew, dh calls him a druggie now cos he gets so excited when he sees the nurofen bottle and has been known to scream and paddy for some lol
