Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Jelley · 01/05/2007 18:42

Just forget the jabs completely for a bit. He couldn't have them now even if you wanted him to.

too for the rubbish Dr.

Ds has terrible nappy rash again all of a sudden I think he is teething agaain so probably related to that.

Flame and Kel, are you eating? Every time I cook I think about you both....

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 18:43

Mini chicken kievs, croquette potatoes and a few baked beans... Crap and not a lot of it, but it is techinically food.

mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 18:49

flame.

Macca; that doesnt sound like it makes me feel any better, as I've been running on no incline at all since having ds2. I've copied it down, and was going to do it tonight to see how I was with it, but then realised my treadmill doesnt do part inclines

Frizbe · 01/05/2007 18:56

Flame have left message on the other thread!

Macca/MRM if it helps I've been walking lately not running, but doing 20 mins at incline 9, speed 7/8, so very fast walking! its getting the pounds off, along with cycling and rowing as well.

Macca was it you or Jelley who did the fish pie recipe on here the other day?? anyway I made it tonight and dd2 and I loved it . Dd1 ate at nursery and has declined to try it, dh has only just crawled in from work, so his verdict later.

Frizbe · 01/05/2007 18:58

booo for nappy rash Jelley

dd2 has just tried to bite her sister we only have 6 teeth here, wondering if another one could be on its way through???

We have a 3rd pcv jab next week, I didn't realise they had to have another booster but docs say they do.......hoping dd2 will be ok with it, as she has her 1st single vax on the saturday after, think its measles 1st!

mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 19:00

So maybe I'll do maccas, followed by your 20mins tonight.

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 19:01

Which one is pcv?!?! I thought we only had 2 of each since the first lot iyswim.

Frizbe · 01/05/2007 19:05

its the pmnueno thingy (spelling!!) I was originally told there were only 2 jab of it, but seems there are 3!

Go for it MRM

mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 19:06

I was caught unawares by the third one too!

Right, off to get my PE kit on.

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 19:09

They're gonna have to fight me for a third one!

2boysmacca · 01/05/2007 19:13

I only put it on an incline because I live up the top of a very big hill, running on zero would be stoopid. I'd need to be on a 5/6 incline to match it!

lol at PE kit

Ds2 not settling. I've refrained from giving him medised tonight as he's had it just about every day for 2 weeks but I think I'm gonna have to give him some. He usually settles immediately but lately he needs something. He is so tired the poor little mite.

Mine was the fish pie. Whenever i think about it I always turn my nose up but when i tuck in I remember just how much I enjoy it. I forgot to say I usually used, salmon, a white fish and undyed smoked fish (just a tail end so's not to overpower)

Jelley · 01/05/2007 19:21

Third one? No mention of it here. I asked when he had mmr and was told nothing more til preschool boosters.
He has only had one pneumococcal one

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 19:47

DS is getting meds. Do not ask questions.

2boysmacca · 01/05/2007 20:10
Hmm
mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 20:40

Flame

Well, you've scuppered me Frizbe I couldnt do your incline speed, it was soo unatural. So I did some hybrid thing of yours and maccas:
7.5 mins inc 2 sp 6.5
7.5 mins inc 1 sp 10
10 mins inc 9 sp 6.6
5 mins inc 0 sp 11

What made it worse is that I wrote down what I wanted to do on a bit of ds1's notebook and stuck it on the treadmill; it was his Cars one, so has 'Speed. I am Speed' all over the top

Oh, and if she doesnt change her mind... I got me a running partner (neighbour) 8pm, twice a week!

ChasingSquirrels · 01/05/2007 20:46

depends what age they start it, over 1 they only need the 1 jab, under whatever age they get 3 and whatever to one they get 2 jabs. T had his last week at 15mo (and MMR aswell) so only has the one.

mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 20:49

I wish we couls all stop talking about MMR, as i keep scanning and thinknig you're talking about me

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 20:55

Indeed.

We will henceforth refer to it as "the jab including measles... TJIM"

2boysmacca · 01/05/2007 20:59

I'm going to use you as my partner MRM as I'm too competitive and need that to push me that bit extra. Will be in London at the weekend so will do the Putney/Hammersmith bridge route, which I've used a website to track the mileage and it's 4.6miles! Now I know how far it is, I'm not sure I'll be able to run it If you remember they told me it was 2 miles

Ds2 not had his MMR yet. What with all his grumpiness I've been holding off.

Anyone watching how to look good naked on tv? She is sooo pretty.

mustrunmore · 01/05/2007 21:09

How many km is 4.6 miles, exactly? REmind me how long you did it in last time.

We're watching Most Haunted.

PhoenixGirl · 01/05/2007 21:17

Flame, wot an arse your doc sounds [anger] I hope he doesn't suffer as bad as last time.

I've just looked in ds's red book with all the vaccination talk. He had his 3 early ones, then prevenar on 22nd Jan and hib/men c on 26th Feb so what is he due now?

PhoenixGirl · 01/05/2007 21:18

[anger] is doh

ChasingSquirrels · 01/05/2007 21:25

what is prevenar? T had the 3 early sets, hib and men c (combined jab i think) about 6 weeks ago, then mmr and pcv (separate jabs) last week

Flamesparrow · 01/05/2007 21:29

I think pcv is prevenar/pneumovax

PhoenixGirl · 01/05/2007 21:30

Think its the pmnueno thingy (stole frizbe's spelling )
