See, thats me all over... if you cant do it, teach it

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 20:11

Chloe - Asda £4.98 for 9

ChasingSquirrels · 30/04/2007 20:11

Hi, I can't keep up with you all, moves so fast in the day when I don't get much of a chance to come on then feel like I can;t catch up at night - must try better!

ChasingSquirrels · 30/04/2007 20:13

and you are all to energetic! though I am off for a swim when dh gets back from the driving range - i have good intentions but am unlikely to keep it up.

Chloe55 · 30/04/2007 20:16

Would they protect a fall from a small slide quite well if they were layed on concrete PG? And, are they weatherproof?

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 20:19

csws - thanks for the meal ideas i'll give some a try. We've currently got a beef casserole in the slow cooker for us so i'm gonna put some aside for ds and see if he'll eat it tomorrow.

mrm - we def don't live in a seaside town Nearest seaside is over an hour away.

I'm sure i had something else to say

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 20:20

They're spongy but not that thick chloe so i don't really know. They would be much softer than concrete though

2boysmacca · 30/04/2007 20:31

How small is small Chloe? Up to 1 metre they recommend 50mm of 'padding' If you're talking tiny tikes cube slide, I think they'd be sufficient.

We're putting down rubber mulch because it's 2 + metres high and we have solid ground underneath.

Question of the day from ds "Do dragon's have willy's"

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 20:41

Lol Macca

Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 20:52

Only the boy dragons

2boysmacca · 30/04/2007 20:55

Great minds think alike. Next question "so where is it then?"

Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 20:56

In his kitchen drawer of course... where else would a boy dragon keep it??

2boysmacca · 30/04/2007 20:59

So I went down the lines of, he's sitting on it! He then produces his pet dragon, Herb and said that dragons definitely don't have willys. "but what do dragon's need willy's for?"

If only I'd gone down your route Flame.....

Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 21:00

Ah, see you need me for a quick response text service

2boysmacca · 30/04/2007 21:03

Flame

KelBelle · 30/04/2007 21:12

LOL at dragons!!

DS has got 2 teeth in 2 weeks - we are at 13 now and there are more coming he likes to cut a few at once then none for ages!!! Lots of dribbling and moaning today and hand in mouth lots. Poor thing.

DS in bed nice and early, I'm just logging off to have dinner and watch tv, will try an early night too!!!

Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 21:14

Thanks Macca

13 teeth?!?!

We're still at 4 n a bit

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 21:47

nappy thread Flame

PhoenixGirl · 30/04/2007 21:49

Kel - Is tooth no. 13 a fang? Lewis' first fang is just cutting and it's his 13th tooth

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2007 21:51

Still at just 4 teeth here!

OP posts:
Jelley · 30/04/2007 22:02

13
ds has been stuck at 7 since Feb.

ChasingSquirrels · 30/04/2007 22:21

lol at dragons and willy's. willy convos are the best, one of ds1's classics was "my daddy's got a GREAT BIG WILLY" to anyone who would listen (including the check-out lady) in the supermarket at about 2.5y.
Swam for 30 mins cos dh didn't get back until later than I expected, and really going to TRY and keep it up, but it does depend on dh being home which he rarely is.
10 teeth here, 4 top, 2 bottom and 4 molars.

Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 22:33

Been talking to JimJams... she says that DS's reactions to jabs (mainly the horrible crying he does) is definately not normal and I need to talk to the doc about it

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2007 22:41

But surely every baby reacts differently flame?

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 30/04/2007 22:47

The high pitched heart rending scream/cry is normally indicative of brain swelling... I had been told that before but had put it down to a very pro-non vax friend scaring me.
