We have run out of space so thought I would start a new thread.

Pavlov-hope you are OK today hun.

kayzed-well done to Roshi

Gave Sophie some SMA (5oz but she only glugged 3oz ish down) she zonked out immediatedly on her gym mat. Poor girl must have been starving the way she uh, uh, uh when she saw the beaker.

Mum and dad coming in a mo. Dad is tiling and mum and I are going to paint the ceiling. DH doesn't know so watch out for me on the relationships thread later.

Bloss-get you on the homepage! How do you do tips?

Better go-love to all and will catch up later.

Impy - seriously impressive post. Ryan is delectable! I couldn't leave H at 6 months old to go skiing for a week, much to my family's disgust, but it's really really hard isn't it? Glad to this day I didn't go....

IamBlossom · 04/05/2007 20:54

quietly confident about my latest tip.......[smirk] we will see......

SleepIsForTheWeak · 04/05/2007 20:54

ImpyChica, I second your motion that Bloss is a goddess! (Her husband sounds a bit like a god too! Cooking up a storm in the kitchen and elsewhere!) Bloss, maybe a name change is in order?

Oh, and Impy, I think it is Sefton and Ryan?s10 month birthday tomorrow? J J J
We can have a virtual celebration together! His photos are lovely, aren?t we clever to have such cute boys?!?!?

Beadmum ? yayyyyyyyyyyy congrats :D

Pretty ? he is just too gorgeous! Looks like a charmer?

I really need to sort a freebie web picture posting thing, I have some great snaps of Sefton. His hair is very fine and quite wavey with a natural side parting ? people think I style it!!! He looks like he is from the 50?s!

KZ, how are you? You sound chipper as ever! I am in North London too, should we be brave and organise a get together oneday? Or does meeting the person in RL spoil the virtual thang?

We haven?t heard from Koshka in a while, hope she is OK?.

I also have to loose weight?. But I do a lot of comfort eating dammit. And I cant abandon my wine, that would be rude!

x

Lysettes · 04/05/2007 20:56

bloss your dh sounds great at cooking! mine would be sampling the wine and then coming into the kitchen telling me i hadn't cooked enough (when i cook enough for 20 whenever we have anyone over!)

impy we are moving toclapham from fulham so n ot very far

hc shall we have a july babies meet up at your place? and we can give you a big group hug and the babies can all gaze at each other (or in jacob's case squeal loudly!)

second swim lesson today and he loved it - very tired at the end of it which was great.

i think his second tooth is on the way - he's drooling like mad again (even more than last time) and rubbing everything over that side of the lower gum so fingers crossed it comes through soon

SleepIsForTheWeak · 04/05/2007 20:58

wouldn't it be great if we could all meet up for a day?

x

prettymum · 04/05/2007 21:49

lysette- how exciting!!!! cant wait to hear you tell us that you might be pregnant!! but sad your friends, its a shame when a couple really want baby, they seem to have trouble!

beadman- looks like you'll be having a wonderful weekend!! enjoy! sorry about your job, but like yu said more quality time with charlotte

kz- how was the rest of your evening? if only all of us could do a meetup, it would be so good! does your dh work all day?

bloss- can you lend my your dh so he can teach my dp to take spme time out and cook for me! you're sooo lucky!!

sleep happy 10 month birthday for tomorrow!! and ryans too if it is too!

just sent dp off to tescos to buy some baileys, a glass should put me straight to sleep as i have work tomorrow

kz- happy 10th bday roshi!! kz- hope you get some time for yourself to relax!!

junior will be 10 months on the 19th, but he is getting big for a baby who is still living on milk! gave him some pasta for dinner, one went into his mouth, the rest were squashed and thrown everywhere!

ive just spent the last hour and a half cleaning so when i get up to get dressed for work, i can leave in peace! bedtime 12 today so will have a quick shower, drink of baileys and will drop in my bed!
goodnight ladies xx

PavlovtheCat · 05/05/2007 08:19

KZ - sorry Happy belated birthday to Roshi!
I am in this morning for a bit so will catch up on posts and send a reply post as I been a bit slack recently

PavlovtheCat · 05/05/2007 08:48

MrsDux and Numptysmummy - hello and welcome - my DD is Isabella, as I liked Ella, DP prefered Bella. Ella is a gret name

JeanieG - thanks for your post - how long for you? Recently too? I am sorry to hear that you have been here . I am looking forward to a time when the knots go, when I can look at pictures of mum and DD without feeling angry/sad/overwhelmed with loss.

Blos - Well done on your weight loss - how did you do it? Starve yourself? (i hope not!). I am about 1stone heavier than pre-pregnancy and I am not intending on shifting it. In fear of getting cups thrown at me I was actually a bit too skinny before. Always had trouble keeping weight, (lots of nervous energy and high metabolism apparantly), and I actually think I look better with a little layer around the edges! I can sit for 10 mins without my boney ass hurting! However, although I am still BF, my boobs seem to be reducing back to prepg size ooooh noooooo . I wanted them to to stay at least until after the wedding - not that they were ever huge whilst bf, but still...

And - a dinner party?! How adenturous, can i come

SIFTW - at your LO puking hun. and tuna - eeeew!

F@F - your LO is beautiful! I love the one with the shade on!! Where did you get the sunhat with the ties underneath? I have been looking for one, but I was told that they are not made like that anymore due to string being a health hazard?!! I need one a LO likes to shake it off her head!

Sorry for those I have missed - DD is getting resless, after finishing some kiwi fruit. She had most of her brekky, did not get chucked around the floor this time, and a whole peice of cheese on toast!

I will try to post some more before I go out...

Have a good day ladies xx

frenchleave · 05/05/2007 09:25

Morning all. Been slack too and cannot keep up with the activity on this thread!

Hello Numpty and Mrs Dux!

Early wake-up today as Thomas has a stinking cold and woke with a blocked nose and face and hands smeared in snot...

KZ - definitely three, and no more! I've reached my personal limit, couldn't cope with more, though I do feel very sad as each milestone passes that I won't be doing this again.

Difficult bedtime with the girls last night as they saw a bit of a news report about that little girl and it sparked all sorts of fears. Awful, awful situation for that poor family, the thought makes me feel sick.

Pavolv - saw some hats with ties at H&M recently. I got a great one for T at Okaidi/Obaibi (a French chain but they have some shops in the UK) with a velcro fastening. He has never yet succeeded in taking it off and gives up in the end.

Sleep - LOL at you styling Sefton's hair. T has two side partings - his hair naturally lies in a flat mohican. DH thinks it's cool.

Snotty baby calls... happy weekends all

usandnosleep · 05/05/2007 11:38

It's awful, awful news French, I can't stop thinking of her.
Very rarely pray but did last night, I wanted to get Zack out of bed and keep him wiith me last night.
God knows what the parents are going though today, my heart goes out to them.

JeanieG · 05/05/2007 11:42

Morning ladies,

Abbey has a tooth!!!!!!!

Am soo chuffed.

Hiya to Mrs Dux and Numpty.

Will return later, off to get Ross and Sian ready to go out for the day.

xx

ps Would also LOVE a meet up. I'm miles away from you all (Liverpool), but would travel down.

FirstAtForty · 05/05/2007 11:43

Hi girls - just a v quick one as the in laws are here and we're about to go out. Thanks for lovely comments about Emma's pics

Pavlov - Magical pics, I love the one of you lying in the flowers. Her hat is from Jojo Maman, it's size 3-6 months and only just fits really, but the 6-12 was huge on her.

Impy - beeeyotiful pics, how clever getting the vids on there as well. He's so cute and bright as a button, I bet he's really popular wherever he goes!

Bloss - enjoy your dinner party, sounds fab, olives, mmmmm

Hi to everyone, will catch up properly soon, have a lovely bank holiday weekend (those of you in the UK) xxx

SleepIsForTheWeak · 05/05/2007 13:15

well done, Abbey!!!

KZ, have mailed you, forgot to say how glad I am the spots seem to be fading, hopefully it was all just a scare - fingers crossed.

If we organised a meet up, where would the most central location be?! Unless we did a north and a south meet up???????

PavlovtheCat · 05/05/2007 13:25

Central to us all? Midlands?!! LOL

I can travel, oh and if its any use, I am going to be in cambridge in next few weeks? I know thats not central...!

IamBlossom · 05/05/2007 14:11

oooh, you all read my minds, I wanna do a meet up too, before KZ jets off to sunnier climes!

I am about 45 mins from Wandsworth...

Awful about that little girl, I hope they find her soon or it sounds like another Ben Needham situation. How absolutely terrible for them all.

KZ - great news about the spots perhaps fading??? Fingers crossed.... Really annoying when playdates fall through isn't it, especially if you have told the kids we are going to see so and so etc...sad about your friends endometriosis, it is so much more common than I ever thought, a few of my friends have it, one described the pain of it as having a cheese wire slice through your thingh....

Dh is available for hire! I will handle all monies and diary.

French - Toby has the gogeous snot caked face every morning at the moment too, it's a good look n'est ce pas?

Wallace, forgot to say, they are very cool tricks Leo has! Toby does the bib thing too and likes to play peepo with it, very sweet.

Bloss

xx

IamBlossom · 05/05/2007 14:14

am buying one of these for Toby's buggy

Friend has one and they are miles better than those stupid umbrellas that are never on the right side and that your kids wrestle with and eventually break....
