We have run out of space so thought I would start a new thread.

Pavlov-hope you are OK today hun.

kayzed-well done to Roshi

Gave Sophie some SMA (5oz but she only glugged 3oz ish down) she zonked out immediatedly on her gym mat. Poor girl must have been starving the way she uh, uh, uh when she saw the beaker.

Mum and dad coming in a mo. Dad is tiling and mum and I are going to paint the ceiling. DH doesn't know so watch out for me on the relationships thread later.

Bloss-get you on the homepage! How do you do tips?

Better go-love to all and will catch up later.

god if I had no toilet flush I would GO MAD!!!!

ImpyChica · 17/04/2007 20:29

OMG Bloss - you're married to Jamie Oliver and Bob the Builder? Don't tell me he's funnier than Simon Pegg too (or if Mr Pegg doesn't ring your bell then whoever your comedic genius is!) Lucky moo!

JeanieG · 17/04/2007 21:51

Bloss-tell me about it. He is a nightmare. He announced yesterday that he is no longer doing any DIY!! So God knows when everything's going to get done. I think I need to start flirting with some plumbers, builders, electricians etc...

Impy-Ryan has got the cheekiest little face. He is lovely.

Ceebee-Josh looks gorgeous in his footie kit.

Do anyone of you ladies enjoy it when your DH/DP's go out for the evening? When I got back from picking Abbey up from MIL's, DP had gone out, not sure where and I haven't phoned to find out cos he might come home earlier and I just love bodding around the house on my own, it's fab. (well, not really on my own, kiddy winkles are all in bed, only Abbey asleep though).

Isn't it strange, the second you mention BED to DC's they suddenly decide they are hungry, thirsty, have homework they haven't done. Honestly, the list is endless.

HC- hope you enjoyed Holby City.

Right, am off to find something to do.

Jeanie

prettymum · 17/04/2007 22:07

hc- well done on getting some diy done, let us know your dhs reaction!

bloss- send your dh over please to teach my one that he needs to cook more often!

Blimey folks I thought I was doing well to be up to date, then I tried to add a message and discovered I couldn't. And now another 32 already - and I've forgotten what I was going to write now . Let's see...

CB - congrats on the teeth! Josh's pics are gorgeous - Aidan's got the same set of musical instruments and he loves them (see he is allowed SOME noisy toys)

KZ - congrats on Roshi's crawling! So sorry you're worried about your DS though. I hope you get some answers soon.

HC & F@F - so sorry you're both having problems with cows milk. Like Impi was saying, it's so difficult to avoid milk products. Is it something they can grow out of?

Blossom - great video. Think it'll be quite a while before I get round to that. I'm still trying to get round to uploading my recent pics to the Truprint site so I can post a couple.

Hi to Frenchleave and Pinkdolly - nice to hear from you.

Sorry for everyone I've missed out. I'm really tired tonight so off to bed soon. xx

Pavlov - I posted on your other thread. I meant to ask though, what is your work on about that they have to "require" you to work from home? I've finally got my work to agree to one day a week from home. If it was done formally, which it isn't, it would have to be written into my contract, but my understanding is that it's my need for flexibility that counts rather than anything they require? Glad you seemed more upbeat about it later on yesterday anyway. Aidan loves his day at nursery - I feel a bit jealous in a way...

Twinklemegan · 17/04/2007 22:37

Ooops - not sure what happened there. You weren't an afterthought Pavlov - I got my paragraphs mixed up somehow.

FirstAtForty · 17/04/2007 22:54

Evening girls

Impy - Fab pics and great vid, Ryan really is a star and very cute indeed!

Bloss - aaaaw, wonderful clip, it must be really rewarding to have them interacting like that - Toby looks like he adores his big brother

Ceebee - what a sweetie Josh is, I love his little chubby legs leaving his trews behind

Annie - hope the inlaws are still behaving, and well done on the worktime shopping

Pink - hope the Dollies are better soon, and that Jazz?s appointment goes well xx

Mae - have you decided whether to face the pox or not?!

Hi Frenchleave, nice to hear from you. Emma?s not crawling either, and she doesn?t have the excuse of any extra weight Like you I don?t really mind though, anything for a quiet life!

Impy - yes apparently the vast majority grow out of the cow?s milk allergy by about 3 or 4 years old. Lol re your dad?s nose, bless him!

Pretty mum re the gangs, so grim. Hope you have a great birthday tomorrow though - 22, bloomin heck, I?m old enough to be your mum

Jeannie - re the flush, what a pain. Can you sneak in a plumber? Yes know what you mean about nice quiet evenings (usually spent mumsnetting)

Happy birthday to the birthday girls for next week!

Kayzed - lol at Emma?s ladylike puke, you should have seen her Exorcist impression on the banacado! Love the toothbrush story (though can understand your DH?s pique at having his brush singled out )

Well off to bed, have good nights all xxx

Beadmum · 17/04/2007 23:02

hello everyone

omg you lot can talk, ive been trying to catch up on and off for hours now

loving the videos and all piccies are great

cant remember what everyone has said now, will just give you an update and i promise i will try to reply to you all next time

charlotte is still quite happy to sit and play, seems to have no interest in moving yet. shes also getting more vocal but still no mama yet, saying dada constantly though - typical!

dh is away to belfast with work until thursday so feeling quite lonely, also liking it too, its nice to have some time to myself.

have a goodnight all xx

Ceebee74 · 18/04/2007 06:54

Thanks everyone for saying what a cutie Josh is.

Pretty - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - hope you have a good one (and your DP obviously has good taste in football teams )

KZ - sorry you seem to be having a rough time of it lately {{{{{hugs}}}}} hope things improve soon.

Twinkle - Josh also loves those instruments but seems to prefer throwing them (hard) on to our wooden floor to see what noise they make

Impy - Ryan is such a cutie - virtual party sounds good next week (it is the only party I am going to get)

Right - better go and wake Josh up and get ready for work. Have a good day x

Ceebee74 · 18/04/2007 07:01

Jeanie - I know what you mean about loving it when DH/DP's aren't around. DH has been working away Mon-Fri since beginning of March and (dare I say) it has been great. It is nice when he comes home on Friday evening but I think I might be enjoying being on my own a bit much.... gives me loads of time to MN and have early nights!

MaeWest · 18/04/2007 08:20

Well, think I'm probably not going to risk the pox today (DH would never forgive me). Darn babies interupting my social life . Bit of a mini success sleepwise last night, DS slept from 6.30 to midnight, quick feed then through to 5am, another feed and then up at 7. He also cried a bit at 2am but put himself back to sleep after a few mins . Thing is, I'm so knackered now that I lie in bed for a good while listening to him crying, willing him to settle down so that I don't have to get out of bed.

Hope the pukers are feeling better this morning. Think our boy is a bit car-sick, when we were going to my mums we stopped for break at services to find DS covered in weetabix from head to foot [bleugh]. This was several hours after his breakfast, and he'd quietly snoozed away most of the journey. Had to completely strip him off and sponge down the car seat with wet wipes.

IamBlossom · 18/04/2007 09:53

yuk mae, gross. Weetabix is a terror for getting off too, espesh with wet wiptes. Congrats on the sleep though!

Jeanie I have to go to bed at 9.30pm these days to get my 8ish hours, so I am jealous of you going off to find something to do at nearly 10pm!! God I'm boring.

Impy, DH describes his job to DS1 as "what Bob the Builder does" He thinks he is very funny, does that count?

KZ, LOL at toothbrush scenario.

Happy Birthday Pretty! 22, lucky cow.

First, it is great now that they are interacting, and yes, Toby ADORES H. If H is around I have no trouble whatsoever entertaining Toby. On that note - I made H a toy when he was Toby's age, a big plastic bottle full of yellow feathers and dry pasta, and he loved it. have just found it and given it to Toby who also loves it, just an idea as I seem to have turned into Mrs hobbyCraft!!

Hi Pink, sorry to hear about the illness, hope you and yours are ok.

Bloss

Morning girls

Bloss- at being married to Jamie and Bob! If DH was to make me a sandwich I would collapse on the floor with

DH couldn't find any fault with the painting. He fired lots of did you do this questions and I was able to answer yes to them all. He did find fault with my dad's tiling though-gggrrrhhh!!! He told me to just get on with it so now I know how to water paint down I will!

Agree that Weetabix is like glue.

kayzed-don't think I would have told DH about the sick-unless he had annoyed me in some way

Happy B'Day pretty NO cleaning today !

Jeanie-you are going to have to get in a 'man that does'. I keep threatening to do that and if DH doesn't pull his finger out and I can't do a particular job then I will!

Well ladies, off into town. Bit stiff from all that rollering so have a good day all.

Morning ladies!!!
Kayley is nine months old today!
And at 3.45am last night, she had some of my water, and I heard a 'clink', and there was her first tooth! Horraay!!! (just like your Jake, Koshka!)
(A bit sad though as well, cos she's not a wee baby anymore)
Bloss my two adore each other too!!

Must go, will catch up later.

Actually have a bit of work to do,

Annie

AnnieOleTing · 18/04/2007 10:58

Happy Birthday Prettymum.

frenchleave · 18/04/2007 11:23

Morning all.

Annie - Thomas is 9 months today too, so happy days to our not-so-little ones! And her first tooth, congratulations!

First - I think we should make the most of the short time left when they are immobile!Though T has just started lunging for things that are out of his reach, usually ending up sprawled on his tummy, so he is trying to move a bit. He does manage to hotch forwards on his bottom a few inches sometimes - he moved from the middle of the bath to the tap end last night and was very pleased with himself.

Bloss - Am v of you and your handyman. Mine is capable but never has the time, so 15 months after moving almost nothing has been done. I feel like I'm squatting in someone else's home. Is yours for hire?

Got to go. Happy Birthday Pretty!

AnnieOleTing · 18/04/2007 11:40

Happy nine month birthday to Thomas!!!

AnnieOleTing · 18/04/2007 11:53

First, thank you yes the in-laws are still behaving. The only teeny bit of trouble was last night when I was trying to get K to sleep (DH was getting DS to sleep in his room), when FIL decided it would be fun to start playing clap hands etc and trying to make her laugh. So I had to tell him, No, FIL, no more stimulation tonight. Then he went all quiet! Result!

The garden, however, still has no sign of any decking, just piles of wood and soil... They only have one more day and a half...

I've done all my work today again. Waiting for boss to stop talking to other lab boss person, so I can go and see if she has anythin for me to do... YAWN...

HC, good for you!! Hope the DIY success continues!!

Bloss, shall we call your DH, Bamie, or Job... now I'm just being silly.

Right must pee

Annie

AnnieOleTing · 18/04/2007 12:28

Forgot to mention I was offered a seat on the tube this morning .
These darned smocky tops!

(You mean, this darned spare tyre round your waist that three glasses of wine a night won't help shift, annie)

Dunno who was more embarrassed, him or me. Him I think... hee hee

Limoncella · 18/04/2007 13:20

IAmBlossom - our DS's have the same name
