We have run out of space so thought I would start a new thread.

Pavlov-hope you are OK today hun.

kayzed-well done to Roshi

Gave Sophie some SMA (5oz but she only glugged 3oz ish down) she zonked out immediatedly on her gym mat. Poor girl must have been starving the way she uh, uh, uh when she saw the beaker.

Mum and dad coming in a mo. Dad is tiling and mum and I are going to paint the ceiling. DH doesn't know so watch out for me on the relationships thread later.

Bloss-get you on the homepage! How do you do tips?

Better go-love to all and will catch up later.

hehe Annie I am rubbish at links! I thought I was like modern with putery stuff but it appears my child will be embarrassed at my lack of It skills no matter how great I thought i was!

AnnieOleTing · 30/04/2007 14:52

Ah yes, Pav, how gorgeous is she!!! you both look so happy!!! Beautiful!

x

IamBlossom · 30/04/2007 19:48

Pav that one of you both is frameable deffo. Beautiful. So sorry about your grief, good to get it out now and deal with it perhaps?? If we can help let us know, big hugs.

HC - sounds like you had a great day out, yes to cream, have been slathering my blondies with it, much to their disgust. Where the frig do you live? What kind of pub DOESN'T SELL WHITE WINE???? How did the docs go how did the docs go how did the docs go....?????? Big kiss from me.

Jeanie - this morning was 5am. Toby wakes up and chunters away in his cot, flips himself over, bellows, sings, chatters, snoozes, sings some more. I ignore but hear all of it. And H wakes up at 6am on the dot, every morning, but have been awake for an hour by then usually. How do I deal with it? Usually not too badly, as I go to bed early, and once I'm up and the sun is shining and the machine of routine swings into place we are fine. This morning? I was just really really fed up. DH had been away Friday and Saturday, and might as well have been away yesterday he was so hungover. And I was tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired. So sulked and refused to get up, and DH did the getting up to get them up bit. Only for half an hour but he could see I was mightily hacked off.

I am going to write a book. It's going to be called "How to fuck off a SAHM". It will include the following chapters:

  • If you are a Delivery Man, ring the doorbell three times at about post lunch sleep time.

  • If you are a 2.8 little boy, ask a gazillion questions about why there are holes in the road. (Kbaby I can so relate about the frustration in trying to explain why it is not their birthday [holds gun to head emoticon])

  • If you are an 8 month old baby boy, smear not only your own cream and blue striped troos with chewed carrot organic crisps goo whislt being pushed round Tescos, but your older brothers t-shirt and shorts, and your mother's top - ensure you have all only be dressed for 1 hour.
  • If you are a Gas company send a £200 bill.

The End.

sorry everyone have totally lost the plot whilst trying to keep up with you chatterboxes over the weekend!

HC I am so proud of you for making an appointment to go and see the doc - it's the first stage and the hardest one! I went through depression when I was 18 and the hardest thing was going to the doctors. I got i nthere and just burst in to tears, and said "If I get to 10am and I'm not like this it's a miracle!". they really helped me and I am still so glad I went. Hope your experience at the docs is even more helpful {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

bloss - can I add

DH complain of being tired at the weekends when you haven't got up once in the night and your LO is teething and waking up every 1.5 hours

jacob had fish for the first time tonight and didn't spit it out! spat out banana yesterday on the third taste test

weighed today and he had put on 130g in 1.5 weeks - after 380g in 3.5 days - had a bit of a go at the HV and they finally admitted that their scales hadn't been checked for almost a year and they might possibly have made a mistake in the last weigh in! Although I do think that he did put on a huge amount of weight that week

We exchanged on our house purchase this morning so relieved - went out and bought a huge TV this afternoon to celebrate

I must drink lots of wine this weekend so I can chat with you all on friday and saturday nights!

Just a quickie

Went to the Drs and yep, I burst into tears. He gave me a quiz to fill out and I scored 8 so he has given me some AD's and I have to go back in 3-4 weeks. So hopefully things may get better. DH still doesn't really understand and has just been telling me how bad his life is. My mum was upset I hadn't told her so I told her I didn't think she would understand. She said she did which surprised me as she didn't last time I was on AD's. Oh, and my lump is most likely to be a Bartholin cyst so nothing to worry about.

Will catch up later.

HC {{{{{hugs}}}}} So so glad you went and the doc was helpful. The ad's will kick in soon and you can take control.
Your mum sounds lovely and ignore your DH's uhelpful typical male comments

Lovely pics Kbaby, its amazing how quickly they are changing at the minute.

KZ- I would have been hysterical I'm sure! I'm glad the PF man hung around to help you out, poor Chili such a lovely big bro

Pretty- WOW! Junior sounds so bright

Gorgeous pics Pav, she is a real honey.

Lysettes- Congrats on the house move, hope it all goes smoothly, I LOVE moving!

Bloss- it would be a bestseller I'm sure.

Annie- congrats to your bro and sis! And please don't be giving Joey haircuts when he starts school will you?!

Jeanie- hope you had a later start this am?!

Twinkle- It's great when they have the same meal isn't it? Zack's fave is my homemade meatballs and fresh pasta (won't touch the dry stuff!)

Ceebee- really fab pics, I love the pics of you LO he really is adorable.

Hi to sleep, mae, first, wallace, impy, agalch, beadmum, madness and soph

Where you gone jom? You were going to fill us in on all your news- it was so lovely to hear from you

How are you doing pink?

Everything ok in the nosleep household, things have picked up between DP and I (fingers crossed)

Zack still has a cough and just can't seem to skake it.

We have our 8 month check today (at 9 months) bit paranoid though because no-one else in the group is having one I'm sure the HV just really likes me and Z

Zack has started walking using his walker, he never stops surprising me. It's exciting but I also feel a bit sad, it's all going so quickly.

Right I'm going to attempt to have some brekkie before Zack wakes, have a good day all x

pinkdolly · 01/05/2007 07:38

Hi girls,

sorry again for the long absence.

What lovely photos of your lo's.

Hc how are you feeling. I burst into tears in the docs once when I had depression. They asked me how I was coping with the cleaning (that was all it took and I was off)

I'm ok...

I have some issues but i'm trying to sort them out.
I'm tired a lot, I haven't managed to face dh being anywhere near me since before xmas. And I'm stressed. and Jazz has a huge cold again, snot everywhere. Lovely.

The older dd's are asserting themselves and not neccesarily running rings around me, but they know i'm not on top form. DD2 has turned into a foot stamper (i hate that). And dd1 has turned into the 'Why? child'.

Am trying to find some time for me, but dont know what to do with myself. And finding it difficult to drag myself away from my girls.

How is it that sometimes they drive you mad yet you cant bear to be parted from them. Oh well the joys of motherhood.

On a lighter note, Dh has just been given a boat by some lovely mumsnetter's mum. It's a 17ftr that her husband built years ago. Needs some restoration but Dh is going to do it with the church youth group and then teach the youth group how to sail her. He's very excited (like a kid in a toyshop!).

Pretty- Junior sounds cute. Jazz has also learnt to wave but she only says hello or (mainly) hiya!
She can say daddy, grandad, ta, have that, hello, hiya, yeah.
Where's mummy in all that? I thought I was her first love. Am very dissapointed

Goodness i'm rambling again, I must make a mental note to check on here at least once a day. You shouldn't get those long essays then.

I was in mothercare feeding Jazz the other day and there was a woman feeding her 7 week old. I could tell that this baby wasn't much smaller then Jazz so I asked. She was weighed 2 weeks previous (5 weeks old) at 14lbs 7oz , Jazz was weighed the week before at 14lbs 11oz. It did look quite funny.

Is anyone still breastfeeding? How's it going?
I'm so the proud mummy, because I was terrible at breastfeeding with the other 2 and only lasted 12 weeks with dd1 and 4 weeks with dd2. Never thought i'd still be going at nearly 10 months!

Ok will leave you all for now.

Hope you all having a good day.

Pink xx

IamBlossom · 01/05/2007 08:07

hey Pink great to hear from you with all your news, and big hugs and support to you in your down moments. Great news about that boat!!

I can't believe Jazz is saying so many words! I know Toby is a month + behind her but I cannot imagine him saying anything in 5 weeks time, he just says bababababababa!!

KZ, omigod, the PF guy is a hero! Have another baby and name it after him.

HC, glad the doc could help a bit, see how you go....nice of DH to share his woes for you to carry too.

Us - your posts are amazing, how were you that organised before 8am?

KBaby, lovely pics, and all the other ones too!

Going to Wellington Country Park for the day today with a heavily pregnant friend and her little boy. I may be leaving H here on his own, as he has just lobbed Weetabix at me. "DO YOU WANT TO GO IN THE DOWNSTAIRS LOO????"

On a brighter note, he didn't wake up till 6.22am!! That's a lie in chez Blossom!!

have great days.

Bloss

xx

PavlovtheCat · 01/05/2007 08:29

Hey all.

HC, glad you went to see Drs and you have some ADs, I hope they help to lift you soon.
Kbaby - what gorgeous piccies! He is a handsome lad isnt he?
Pretty - sweet that your lo can wave and say tata! DD is currently throwing her brekky around shouting BABABABABABABA RARARARARARA at the top of her voice! No tatas yet tho...

Beadmum · 01/05/2007 10:28

morning ladies

gorgeous pics everyone

kbaby - congrats on ds crawling, hope dd's bestest friend can make her party

prettymum - scary nighmares, junior is so clever, keep trying to show dd how to wave tata but she just looks at me as if im crazy

hc - so glad you went to docs, hope ad's help soon

bloss - you are hilarious, love the book!! have a good day out

lysettes - congrats on the house purchase being complete

kz - how scary, cant believe you were locked in and out in the same day what a hero that parcelforce guy was

us - hope 8 month check goes well, i still feel really cheated about that since they stopped doing them right when dd turned 8 months, asked hv and its only in our area. (8 weeks only check now)

pink - hope you find some 'me' time soon

charlotte has started pointing too and her chattering is getting louder and louderits funny, looks like she shouting sometimes.
had lovely weekend, was out for lunch with a friend on saturday while dh looked after dd for 2nd time on his own (went to his mums) and went to dh's granda's on sunday for big family get together as it was his 87th birthday.

better go get ready, got rhyme time group at 11am.

have a good day ladies xx

PavlovtheCat · 01/05/2007 10:50

Happy Birthday Baby DD, 10 months old today!

AnnieOleTing · 01/05/2007 14:08

Just had a long lunch, skimmed some shops and sat in the sun to eat... HAPPY SUMMER!!!

Pav, Happy 10 month birthday to DD. Hope you are feeling okay today hun

Bloss what a lovely day for the Park. Please take H with you, he'll be good I promise!

Pink, great to hear from you too. Hope you are feeling better, and getting some proper 'me' time. How fab about the boat!

Us, I know what you mean about it all going so quickly! I see my sister's kids and how they've grown up, and I don't want my babies to grow up... LOL at Joey's haircut in school!! I think I'll leave it alone in future, he can have really long hair!! (Nits and all!!)

KZ at your locked in/locked out escapades! Lucky the PF guy came to the rescue. I bet Roshi would have been clever enough to get your keys though, and push them through the letterbox!!

Kbaby, gorgeous pics!

HC, so glad you went to the doctors. Hopefully things will improve from here on in.

Lysettes, congrats on the exchange! How long til you complete and MOVE!!!???

Nothing much to report, just that I love my babies!!!

Have a good afternoon everyone

Annie

Beadmum · 01/05/2007 14:50

IamBlossom · 01/05/2007 19:27

Wellington Park rocks! Annie I did take him with me and he was a total angel all day, thanks for having a word with him. Had such a superb day. I so know what you mean baout them growing up so fast. Do you know, one of my own arguments about not having another (and I go back and forth all the time on this)is that I would miss littel bits if I have a third. Like just tonight I sat gazing at the angel that is The Tobster, just watching and studying and learning and loving him, noticed a new freckle, enjoying how he turned his head around every few seconds to see I was still there, tickling him, and just wanting to ABSORB him he is so perfect and just, well gorgeous. And then get rugby tackled by H on the landing, saying "Nunight Mummy, BIG love for you, not little love, BIG love" and I want so much for this to last and not to forget any of it that would I have time for one more????

Hey Beadmum. They always go to their mum's don't they? Chickens.

The T has 4 teeth. So proud.

White wine beckons (I may regret this tomorrow......)

Love you all,

Bloss, full of love tonight (and I haven't even had a drink yet)
