Clearly I'm feeling nostalgic! Just think, some of them even had heart beats this time last year!!

Well dh has agreed that the cot has to go - it's dismantled, there's no going back! I have talked him through what we need to do tonight, and he's agreed we need to split the duties - one of us takes ds2 (who seems to have chosen now to have a growth spurt d'oh!), the other ds1. Wish us luck!......

MrsCToBe - GOOD LUCK!!!

2happy - well done on taking cot down only one way to go now - hows he been so far?

Wilkie · 24/04/2007 19:50

MrsCarrottobe - Goodluck for tomorrow. Hope it all goes well and your crusty nose covers just fine

LadyTophamHatt · 24/04/2007 19:50

Bloody hell I'm shattered.

Next time I decide to walk to the post office, then to collect Ds3 from playschool someone tell me not to bother.

Far to far to walk on onlt 5 hrs sleep...45 minutes fast walking just to getthere, then had to walk home too!!

Dragonhart · 24/04/2007 20:07

Welcome Feb!

GLad you are having a good time in HK SHimmer

2Happy- Thanks for the info on slap cheek. THink it does seem to be what was wrong with him but he has been fine today. Also well done on the staying power last night!

Nemo, sorry you had such a bad night, hop last night was better.

Urban, well done with the cot, but at DH.

Good LUck tom Carrot!!!!

EAH GLad all went well at preschool.

Kat SOrry about FIL.

Well, we went to the funeral today and Luke and Ruth were very well behaved. Little angels and then they both fell asleep on the way home

Thanks to everyone for asking about LUke, as I said he seemed fine today. A bit grumpy but not as tired. Rash is still there but not bothering him or got worse. Wondering if some of the grumpy is just him becoming even more of a monster. He has started doing this thing when I tell him off for doing something he wants to where he scowls at me and bats his hand out as if to hit me and says BAAAA! I find it hard not to laugh though!

Dragonhart · 24/04/2007 20:07

Well done on the walking LTH, just think of all the pounds it will have shifted!

RGee · 24/04/2007 20:28

Just a quick post to say have a great day tomorrow MrsCarrot-to-be. And an evening better night {wink] Look forward to seeing the piccies.

No time for personals tonight I'm afraid. Think it's about time I spoke to DH . But I hope....: 2Happy has a good big bed night; Nemo gets some sleep tonight and tomorrow her car is miraculously fixed; Wilkie and UD have apologetic DH/P's; EAH has recovered from E growing up; LTH gets time to put her feet up and her blisters recover; Hattie2 gets a long lie in tomorrow; PCF burns calories through the 'exercise' of shagging without the pressure of ttc; Dragon has a relaxing glass on wine and lots of chocs after a horrid day; Jodie doesn't get puked up on; Kat's week gets much better (really sorry about your FIL, hope DH is ok too); laughalot starts a Jan08 thread but DH doesn't kill her; Shopaholic lived up to her name today; Shimmer has managed to drop the dreamfeed; Vino hasn't deserted this thread; Feb returns too; Galmum's ok; and finally (last but not least) Lizz's house move is progressing well. Phew. Good job I wasn't going to do any personals. Do shout if I've missed you out.....

RGee · 24/04/2007 20:29

Carrot - meant to say "even" better night!! Enjoy!

RGee · 24/04/2007 20:30

Oh ...and I meant the piccies from the day do, not the evening stuff...

Galmum · 24/04/2007 20:38

Hello Ladies - welcome to the new girl!

so to be back from Cornwall - dd slept like an angel. She had been waking in the night again and here's me thinking shit..that's it until she's on decent solid food, but it must have been a growth spurt. Had a lovely time with our friends. Dh was frisky as per usual: kept on coming up with good ideas like having a rumble after she had gone back to sleep at 6am !! I suppose it was a holiday for him too, so I decided to take the path of least resistance and make his weekend!

Have I missed the big Carrot wedding?? If not have a wonderful time.

DH - how is LO - what was the rash?

2Happy - loving the big brother installments - brought back happy memories of ds - he ended up chewing on the stairgate across his door and I'd come up to find him spitting out bits of wood!! . Light on light off was one of his favourites, as was falling asleep on the rug on the floor! Thinking of you this eve - you can make it!

Trying to remember the other news - brain gone blank ..sorry ladies...maybe I need to crash out after long drive back from Cornwall to London!

Galmum · 24/04/2007 20:41

Bene trying to post for so long - realised that it is THE BIG DAY tomorrow when saw the latest chats!

Have a wonderful wonderful day!!! Best wishes from the Galmum household xxx

I had brown goo for a week, a week after AF finished but all seems to have settled at the moment and have ovulation goo now

It's a gooey night in the Wilkie household.....

LadyTophamHatt · 24/04/2007 21:27

this period just started without any hint of it coming. Straight into full gush....like i said i feel like i'm bleeding to death.

Bloody hell, george has just done the loudest and longest fart I have ever heard and he's fast alseep!!

Wilkie · 24/04/2007 21:41

Nice LTH. I'll have sweet dreams...

Meant to say I am off to sisters till Friday tomorrow so will catch up when I get back.

Be good y'all xxxxxxxxxxxx

LadyTophamHatt · 25/04/2007 07:49

OMG..this cannot be normal!

I was woken up last night by my period. Sorry girls I know this is gross but I went to the toilet and it was pouring out.
Thesanitary towel was saturated, so much so it had a puddle, and 2 hours later I had to change it agian.

Never in all my life have i had aperiod this heavy. The first one I had was ok, TBh it was possibly a little lighter than my usual period.

Not sure if I should be worried or not.

(I feel like a bag of shit too)

ellieandhattie · 25/04/2007 07:52

i'm just finising 2nd period and its been going on fir 8 days and was really heavy for 4 days and then brown stuff for the rest of the time, I assumed it was because I had gone back on the pill but sounds fairly normal after reading lth/wilkies posts.

Have you noticed we all seem to have our perids arond the same time - like woman that live together they always end up in sync weird

ellieandhattie · 25/04/2007 07:53

sorry that wasnt much help was it

LadyTophamHatt · 25/04/2007 07:56

With the older Ds's I had my 1st period 4 weeks after th ebirth, with Goerge it was about 11 weeks, with 10 days of spotting before it.

Sodding hell, if its going to always be like this I'm having a hystorectomy(sp)

MrsCarrotToBe · 25/04/2007 08:23

Morning! Thanks for all the messages, really cheered me up last night. off to have hair done now, no time no time! Bye....
