UD you have my sympathy and empathy...grrrr...I was ready to kill Dh last night too. Although will let him off as he was oblivious to it..pmsl. Last night in the Nemo household I swear my dc made a tag team pact before bed.My night went a little like this
11pm go to bed and feed C
12.30am Ds woke up wanting milk
1am C woke up again took 1oz
1.45am DD1 woke up with teething
2.10am get back into bed to listen to dh snoring
2.30am C woke up for another 1oz of milk
3am dh still snoring and I am starting to seeth
4am C woke up for..yes you guessed it 1oz of milk
5am DD1 woke up for milk
by this time DHs snoring was really grating and I gave him a swift kick while pretending to be asleep.
6am DS and DD1 both decide it is now time to get up
6.30am I am by this time crying in bed and give dh a slap and tell him about my night while he looks slightly dazed and confused.
7am dh goes to work and my day begins with C waking up taking a whole 4ozs of milk[rare occurance] which she then threw up at least 3ozs of!!!!
8am moped up hoovered, dusted, did dishwasher and bottles then hear C throw up again!!
8.30am C crying for milk to give her a bottle. She takes 3ozs
8.50am[in car taking ds to playgroup] C spectacularly throws up so that both she and DD1 have sick on them. Also realise my shed of a car really is falling apart..
hey ho

Nemo2007 · 24/04/2007 09:47

Laughalot I hope you were joking about being pg he he revealing my name on MN might be a stalker out there waiting to catch me now You may need to download msn as as eperate programme I'll find a link for you later as we were all on there last night

Wilk how was dh last night did you 'kiss and make up'

Well all went well Ellie got in there saw they had painting out and was gone. Had to drag her back to do the routine (they ave to find their name on their chair and put there bags on there then post theri name into the preschool letterbox and put their juice and snack boxes onto the table)

I had to fill in 3000 forms for every eventuality(sp) went and said bye to her and she said "see you later mummy , go to tescos now!" (mmmn I think we got to Tescos too much) feels very strange coming home to an empty house. Phoned my friend who is looking after Hattie and she said that she has been smiling and chuckling at all the attention shes getting (Hattie went on the school run with friends two children so had lits and lots of fuss) and she has told me I am not allowed to pick her up till at least 1.45. So I have 2 hours till I have to pick Ellie up and I am going to take her out for lunch as a treat then get Hattie. So shall I waste my pecious 2 hours on MN or shall I do some housework????

ellieandhattie · 24/04/2007 10:09

Sorry about typos was tying with my eyes welling up with tears that she didnt even mind me going (I know its good but she could have pretended to miss me)

katwith3kittens · 24/04/2007 12:38

I remember those days when I used to live in a tidy house and have time for myself, I can barely get myself started on the dusting these days.

Had a bit of a crap time of it recently. FIL had a massive heart attack and so we burried him on thursday. Turns out stubborn old sod had been having chest tightness since 1996 but wouldnt do anything about it.What can you do when people are like that? So, MIL will be spending more time with us in the future now.

DS1 was up twice in the night being sick, but the ace thing he is managed to get to the loo so no major mess.

Now waiting in for fridge repair man who said he'd be here before 12

On a brighter note, DS2 had lastjabs yesterday. Did you know they had 3 this time ? The single injection leg is red and swollen but I'm sure it will be OK later. Little chap is 16.5 lb (at 17 weeks and on the 98th centile (just to confuse those of you who are already baffled by stats, you have to deduct weeks if they were prem). So a typical big Geordie lad. Think I'll have to put him straight on pies like they do up here !!!

katwith3kittens · 24/04/2007 14:15

Now I'm even more p!$$3d off

Just phoned Whirlpool (dont ever but anything from them they are officially c**p)
and they said its changed to next monday because they dont have the part. No phone call nothing

laughalot · 24/04/2007 14:18

Kat very sorry to hear about you loss

laughalot · 24/04/2007 14:26

Im really really there is a thread a lady has started about new year babies and both are due in jan 08 so watch out the thread will be appering.

Wilkie · 24/04/2007 14:36

Kat - so sorry to hear about your FIL

EAH - Bless you little emotional mother Hope it all went well for her (and you).

Laughalot - got your text but was rushing around like a blue arsed fly. J took 2 days to settle onto Aptamil - I think SMA took that long to work out of his system. My cousing has just swapped too on my recommendation and says it has made such a difference (perhaps we should work on commission for Aptamil???). Very odd about your AF. Esp as you are on the pill Mine is all over the place but I'm not taking the pill

PCF - surprised you have time to post, thought you were supposed to be bonking??

UD - All was not well in the Wilkie household last night either. We had the biggest row we have ever had, I stormed out of the house in floods of tears and went to my friends for an hour (turned up at 9.00pm and she was in bed but bless her she was so lovely. DH then slept on sofa all night. He came up and apologised this morning. I dont think I have ever felt so hurt and angry by/at him.

Well, I have a child-free day today too so have (non-exhaustive list so why am i fucking exhausted???): Posted Ebay stuff at Post Office, taken clothes back to NEXT, paid cheques into bank, exchanged clothes at Matalan, picked up DH's tie from dry-cleaners, done Asda shop, picked up photographs from photo shop, shampooed my lounge carpet, steamed and liquidised root veg in preperation for weaning J, made lunch and am now sat on MN. Fuck me I'm knackered. Some day off eh???

JodieG1 · 24/04/2007 14:48

Quick message as I have dinner to make, Ethan does have reflux and we got some infant gaviscon from the dr yesterday and it's helped so much already. MUCH less sick and feeding less. Think it was Liz that mentioned reflux in her lo before? I definitely recommend the infant gaviscon. Dh away tomorrow morning at 5.30am so won't be on tonight, I'll be around more the next couple of days probably.

Hope everyone is well, haven't caught up again yet.

Wilkie · 24/04/2007 14:57

Hi Jodie - I second Infant Gaviscon. It really is excellent. J is still a little bit sick with it but no where near as much as he is without

Geordie voiceover: Day Three in the Big Boy's Bed

Tonight, Big Father is on call. He made it home for all of two minutes at 7pm - long enough to stir ds1 up but not long enough to help in any way. ds1 is now overtired and wondering where Daddy is since he was here moments ago.

7.20pm Big Mother is reading ds1 stories in the Big Boys Bed

7.25pm Big Mother says goodnight to ds1 and leaves the room. ds1 immediately gets out of bed, runs to the door and stands there screaming.

7.26pm Big Mother has replaced ds1 in bed and tells him she will do this every five mins until he goes to sleep.

8.30pm After returning every five minutes and after many supportive words on MSN, ds1 is only blooming asleep in the big boy's bed!!!

9.30pm Big Father has come home and is a bit impressed, but there's noise from upstairs.

9.45pm the noise has settled. Big Mother heads to bed with ds2, Big Father goes to sleep downstairs in spare room but says he will take the monitor for ds2.

10.40pm ds1 is up. Big Mother returns him to bed.

10.43pm ds1 is up. Big Mother returns him to bed.

11pm ds1 is up. Big Mother returns him to bed.

11.55pm ds1 is up. Big Mother returns him to bed.

12.30am ds1 is up and has switched his music box on. Big Mother returns him to bed.

12.55am ds1 is up and has switched his music box on and is reading Hamish the Highland Cow. Big Mother returns him to bed.

1.12am ds1 is up and has switched his music box on. Big Mother returns him to bed.

2am ds1 is up and has switched his music box on. Big Mother returns him to bed.

3am ds2 awakes and wants a feed

3.45am ds2 goes back to sleep

4am Big Mother drops off.

6am ds2 wakes up again for a feed

6.45am dh is called to a calving. Other than that he's been in bed all night

Afternoon

Sorry to hear about FIL kat

Jodie glad you got something for Ethan

Wilkie are you going to enjoy the rest of your afternoon off?

Preschool went really well, they said she was fine no tantrums or anything, few times she asked for me they told her I'd pick her up soon and got her occupied with something. But when it came to clearing up time at 11.45 she got really anxious where I was and was sitting in the corner I was outside at 11.50 so they asked me to go in and st with her whilst they did the 'goodbye' part when I walked in she burst into tears because I had remembered to pick her up. We went to tescos cafe for ham sandwich lunch and chocolate cake and she enjoyed that. Picked Hattie up from my firneds and she said she had been as good as gold, I picked her up for a cussle and she promptly started to fill her nappy so glad she waited for me

2Happy · 24/04/2007 15:10

Obv the night for crappy dh's then! dh took the monitor for ds1, and had the cheek to complain he was tired because he was listening to ds1 getting up lots overnight. But did he stir his arse to put him back to bed?? NO!!! I bloody did! If he wasn't going to have done anything he shouldn't have taken the monitor so he could sleep and be refreshed and bloody help out tonight. Instead I'm the one causing the anguish and the tears every single time. Grrr.

Kat - I'm so sorry for your loss , and about the repair man!

Wilkie - sorry you had such an awful row, but I think it's a bit rich to hand you a list of tasks like you're a teenager FFS.

E&H - they grow up too fast !

I'm sorry I'm too tired to catch up any better just now, I think I need chocolate...

OP posts:
ellieandhattie · 24/04/2007 15:13

2happy - oh dear never mind he will get the idea and the good thing is that you put him back in his bed so he knows thats where he is sleeping - well done for not using cot in the small hours

I forgot to add on last post I am the proud owner of 3 paintings and a paper chain caterpillar from pre school am going to put them all in her memory box and the best thing was when I asked who they were for I was told they were all for me
