Thanks name & purple, I do sit him propped against me. I can’t move away yet though. It’s more, when I want to do something (like sorting out the huge pile of washing I’ve done over the weekend) I feel bad leaving him on his playmat all the time. Just want some variety for him!

Glad you had a good night name! I know what you mean, I never want to get up as early as DS! And I’m not good at getting early nights as I’m more of a night owl.

carolann hope the appointment is going well.

I'm feeling crap, low, and isolated. Should've been at a group thus afternoon but couldn't physically manage it, and don't have anyone around to help out. I'm finding it very hard to motivate myself beyond making sure DD is looked after and has all she needs. I could do with a duvet day I think.

Appointment Was a waste of time. Docs says her chest sounds fine! It doesn't. I'm not someone who's goes to the docs for nothing, choking every time she coughs is fine!?!

Told me to bring her in if anything changes. Just given DD her bath at 6, thengave her Calpol and granules as usual with bedtime bottle, she started coughing thought she wasn't going to stop them 🤢🤢🤢 projectile 3 times, once on me, called OH to come hold DD while I cleaned myself up then heard her throw up twice on the living room floor!

She has half her bottle downstairs says good night then has the rest upstairs so didn't know whether to give her the rest but she wanted it wgen we got upstairs and now she's snoozing on me.

Oh doc said it's viral and said alternate between paracetamol and ibrufen for both of us as I've got it as well (no voice at the min)

Thank you lovelies, I really appreciate the kind words. Dh will be back too late to take over as he's been working away unfortunately. That's part of why it's been so hard. Just gotta keep swimming though I guess. Sorry that so many of you are having similar troubles too

@100yearsdotcom sorry you’ve been having such a tough time lately. You’ll get through it. I hope you find some time for yourself when DH can be around to take over.

@Carolann8584 sorry to hear the docs was a waste of time. If you’re still concerned it’s always worth speaking to a pharmacist. They will at least be able to tell you if there are any other medicines you could try.

DH is going to visit a friend on Saturday and thought I’d be happy I’d be rid of him. I pointed out that it will be just like a weekday so not really any advantage to me... duh...

I rem when dd had a chesty cough and sounded rattly. Took to doc twice and each time said she was fine

Better day with food today. Eaten 3 meals tho small and drank all 3 bottles

Still no tooth

Another bad night with DD, slept on me from about 2 til 5 everytime I put her down she would start coughing and wake herself up. Finally managed to get her to sleep on her belly and she slept til 8. Wouldn't normally put her on her front but she's quite mobile now so I knew she would be ok
