Right ladies this is going to be used as a tip's, questions and answers etc thread for those of us who have had our babies and can't keep up with the chat on the other thread. (my word those ladies can talk)

And of course everyone is welcome to post on here the more advice etc the better.

EllieKthePA · 24/04/2007 22:09

my bby looks like a spider monkey and his ears stick out

bubblez · 24/04/2007 22:11

Evening all,

Thought id post seeing as dp has gone from watching shitty football (man u and ac milan methinks) to playing shitting football on ps2 and both dd's are fast asleep.

Lucewheel - how lovely that you had such a lovely birthing experience! PMSL @ your dh and anethitists(sp) convo

Nutty - I have been suffering with the most horrendous constipation too (sorry for tmi). Def have to get some of that laci-stuff that you just metioned as last week tuesday had to make dp come home from work cos was stuck on toilet .

So have officially decided to give up breast feeding and guess what Tianna has gone 'four hours between feeds' I am soooooooo pleased!

But again she has shat on yet another towel so if anyone has any advice on how to get out the baby poop stains it would be much appreciated..

EllieKthePA · 24/04/2007 22:13

the infamous COD suggested Biotex as a prewash and I have to say, it does seem to have worked on my whites

that and Vanish OxyAction

bubblez · 24/04/2007 22:15

Will give vanish oxy action a go, cos I have no idea what biotex is

bubblez · 24/04/2007 22:15

btw thanks ellie

Pinions · 24/04/2007 22:16

Hi bubblez how are you doin???

Love the name Tianna (obviously) and feel honoured that you picked it!!!

As for any type of stain I would recommend vanish cystals (that you put in the wash) would probably shift them.

My dh also watching crappy football!!!

EllieKthePA · 24/04/2007 22:18

pinions, why?

and i had no idea about Biotex either
but it was on the shelf next to the vanish

Pinions · 24/04/2007 22:20

Because it was my suggestion ahem!

EllieKthePA · 24/04/2007 22:23

i see

my memory isn't that good

bubblez · 24/04/2007 22:23

Hey pinions I'm fine thank you. A lot better now that I don't have a baby dangling from me norks (how selfish is that)
How are you?
Isn't it so annoying I absolutely hate football and now he is playing it on the blasted ps2 which he has plugged into the effing main tv!! arrrhh! thank God there are ppl on mumsnet to talk to.

I forgot to say elliek congrats on baby joe!! I've completely lost track of who has had a baby and which cute pic belongs to who...

EllieKthePA · 24/04/2007 22:24

bubblez · 24/04/2007 22:25

Hope everyone has a lovely day, and will catch up later on.

Lots of love and cuddles. xx

zazas · 25/04/2007 09:40

Morning - I seem to have made my way across to the right thread finally! Baby girl asleep, kids off to school and me to sit and wait until midwife shows - means I can't leave the house - just hope it is before I have to get kids from school!

So apart from yesterday when I made the foolish decision to have a bath with the baby - where she pooed non-stop leaving us both sitting in brown water, followed by pooing in her towel and all over my dressing gown...life is OK.

Of course Boobs ENORMOUS - poor baby can hardly get her mouth on and I feel the 'baby blues' whispering in my head - so expect a good cry today!

She is a mellow wee girl - knock on wood. To think I could actually have by number three what people call a 'good baby' - certainly not happened before. With my first DD my health visitor was pleased to inform me that she was the most unsettled baby she had seen in her 8 years - great confidence booster for me!

Anyone else co - sleeping? Haven't really done it before but seem to be with this one - maybe because she was born at home and it just seemed the natural place for her to be. Anyway she is sleeping in bed with us - a good 4 hours at a time which works! Need to think long term though.....
