Happy Easter

mustrunmore · 08/04/2007 09:33

at no pain releif home birth!!

csws; do you really think I havent looked at all those before??!! Its only a small digression from buggies you know There's a kangaroo bike which has those, but on the front (ie I could see if they weere fighting in there!). I can jog with the p&t, just about, so that angle is redundant (whilst ds1 is in nursery, as he's obv not allowed in the buggy any more, inacse he remembers he likes it!) Also thery're £1500
We're going for Bekonscot model village tomororrow I think. Thought that might be slightly less popular than other ideas, so less mobbed, and we'd already discounted the seaside due to traffic. If the traffic isnt too horrendous that way, its not too long a journey for the boys either.

I got a very very posh belgian egg from dh Because he was given it by his boss for being a good boy

Oxygen · 08/04/2007 09:49

Hmmm... unassisted no pain relief home birth... me is thinking things went a tad faster than expected?

happy DD thread

PhoenixChick · 08/04/2007 09:53

Awwwww that's so sweet Flame

ChasingRabbits · 08/04/2007 10:33

csws - hum, not sure about places to eat, but thats about 15 mins for us! Is this a new new car

pc - what side was harry potter on? ds1 wanted to watch it as I had said it was on, but then I couldn't find it.

Lovely morning here, might go to a local country park for a walk, depends how long ds2 sleeps. Then to a local museum this afternoon as they are doing an easter egg hunt in the grounds.

ChasingRabbits · 08/04/2007 10:36

opps, started this about 2 hours ago and now other people have posted inbetween, I wasn't ignoring you!

Flame - awww at your dd, how old is she?

unassisted hb - um yeah, just a TAD quicker, though had planned for it to be a homebirth.

and at the egg, even if it was a hand me down!

PhoenixChick · 08/04/2007 10:38

Harry Potter was on Sky Movies Premier

ChasingRabbits · 08/04/2007 10:40

ahh, that explains it then, I saw it in my mum's tv pages and hadn't really noticed what side, told ds1 it was on then he was MOST disappointed when I couldn't find it - on our freeview box

mustrunmore · 08/04/2007 14:57

Where's the pic of the dolls house then??!! Come on! dont tell me half a tale

2boysmacca · 08/04/2007 15:54

Hello I have escaped the kids and am on inlaws computer. MRM you'd be proud of me yesterday. Ran half the boat race yesterday, well, Putney to Hammersmith. I was knackered! Gonna do the same again tomorrow. We've convinced inlaws to babysit tonight so we are off to Wagamamas if it is open Just come back from taking boys to the park, it is a glorious day here. We bought ds2 some trainers yesterday, they are soooo cute. He hasn't stopped running since we put them on him.

We were looking at bikes and seats yesterday too

Flame, I didn't recognise you but then I was scanning the post, too much to read when you go offline for more than 12 hours

Hello Chasingrabbits. hello everyone else (love the name pg)

CSWS Harvester? you don't seem the type to frequent a Harvester So, did you pick up the car?

Oxygen · 08/04/2007 18:24

I love that CR is calling me Flame

MRM - will take pics later.

ChasingRabbits · 08/04/2007 19:24

lol - I have been lurking, though not this thread, for a while.

mustrunmore · 08/04/2007 20:25

She's def not a Harvester type!!!

mustrunmore · 08/04/2007 20:26

Got my 5km to 31mins 56 today. Shit, but going in the right direction. Macca; run sounds good, but no idea really how far that is... dont 'do' west or south London

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 08/04/2007 20:46

It's next Saturday for the car macca. CR - new car is almost a year old, but it's a lovely Merc R class (6 seats, 4 wheel drive, very flash ).

Well, no I'm not really a Harvester girl , but we did eat there once last year (nr Birmingham), and they were terrible with their allergy info, so it wasn't a great success for me or dd. Am quite happy with a Beefeater type of place though (not for special occasions though obv - then it's the height of luxury!) - tbh am just happy to be eating out once in a while, as we do it so rarely, and it's always me who cooks.

We are not a well household here. Dd seems to be fine now - even had a solid poo today - hurrah, but my stomach is still terrible, and dh is now feeling sick, which is pretty ominous. Really need to have a day out over this break, but not sure it's going to happen .

PhoenixChick · 08/04/2007 20:59

for you and MrCSWS (Is he a typical poorly man or does he cope well )

2boysmacca · 08/04/2007 21:12

3 miles MRM. But from house to river about 1/2 mile. So 31/2 in total (i had to walk from river to house). they told me it was 2 miles but when I got back and said it was never 2 miles, they laughed and said of course it wasn't!

Wagamamas was great. We were only out for 1.5 hours but our bellys are full and we were happy just to get out for a while.

CSWS, next you'll be telling me you have a Kentuky (sp?) every Friday night

Back to Essex tomorrow. We were walking past the pubs tonight and discussing how much our lives have changed since having the boys. Gone are those lazy BH weekends, drinking in the afternoon.

Better go backa nd sit with the family. The Golf masters is on [yawn]

Oxygen · 08/04/2007 21:17

pmsl @ CSWS and the harvester convs

Mum has DD, DS asleep (still hardly eating and poo from hell ), DH on computer so off for a bubble bath with book n wine

Arse... and now he cries

2boysmacca · 08/04/2007 21:19

Oh a bubble bath sounds nice......

Close your ears and stick your head under water, then you won't/can't hear him

Oxygen · 08/04/2007 21:44

It was just a whinge Couldn't ignore him though because we gave him his first bottle since Thurs (or weds?!?!), and didn't want to risk him having thrown up.

Couldn't settle in the bath My mum has been very low all day and I have been absorbing it and am now all twitchy (

ChasingRabbits · 08/04/2007 22:15

csws - ah, its the merc garage - couldn't quite place it, I drive past it on the way home from work, and dh takes his there aswell (although thankfully iy needs a lot less servicing than his honda did).
Hope your dh is feeling better soon.
The three horseshoes at madingly is meant to be nice, though not sure if it is child friendly.

macca - whereabouts in essex are you? presumably fairly nearish to cambs if you are north.

flame, hope you get over the twitchyness (is that a word??) soon.

off to the inlaws tomorrow to drop ds1, he is staying over with them for the first time. well he is as long as he doesn't decide when we are leaving that he wants to come back with us. 3 hour round trip so a bit of a waste of the day

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 08/04/2007 22:41

Thanks for the recommendation CR . We're now thinking of dh popping up there in the morning, then having lunch here before we head off to Bracknell for the afternoon, but it could all change again between now and then!

Sorry about your mum being low flame.

Snippets of dd from this afternoon if anyone wants a nose. Recommend you stop watching when it gets to the bit with her sitting in random piece of blue plastic - is long and fairly dull, but have left it in for my mum!

MrCSWS · 09/04/2007 09:14

For Flame

I noticed you posted on another thread that you had not been invited back to stay . why would we need to invite you when you have an open invitation!

PhoenixChick · 09/04/2007 10:04

CSWS - She looks so grown up. When she hands you the phone at the beginning saying 'ah' is all Lewis is doing at the mo he's obsessed with phones

Here's a quick video of Lewis and Gizmo putting on a magic show lol

Oxygen · 09/04/2007 11:14

Awww
