chocolate, havent posted here before, just started reading, but saw your thread and it sounds like my ds2 - had a cold i think with V V high temps, but mostly over than by wed, however is just crying all the time (pain type), has 4 molars coming through and I am guessing thats the reason, but also sleeping through (longer than he ever has before). I am also feeding through it, was down to 3 feeds in a 24 hr period, god knows how many now. ditto the nappies.
Hope yours gets better soon.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 22:49

Ooh molars would be exciting (she only has 4 teeth so far!). How old is your ds2 CR? Hope he's feeling better soon too.

ChasingRabbits · 06/04/2007 22:51

sorry should have said that shouldn't I he is a late Jan 06 baby but was 3 weeks early so due mid Feb, I post on another parenting board and stuck with the Feb'ers and just naturally came to the Feb one here.
He only had 6 teeth a week ago (4 top, 2 bottom) and then all 4 molars went on the attack

Oxygen · 06/04/2007 22:56

I am still feeling really rough, moreso than should be a hangover (they would be done with by now) - think its extreme tiredness. Off to bed

xx

GreenandBlackOtter · 06/04/2007 22:57

baby boy walked today! just two steps outside but its a start

Oxygen · 06/04/2007 23:10

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 23:11

There aren't any other parenting boards you know CR - there is only MN (you won't leave now you're here you know!)
Don't be about all the teeth coming at once now - I reckon it'd be great to get a big batch out of the way with just one lot of teething hassle to go through!

Yay for baby otter .

What is with this name change flame?

OP posts:
ChasingRabbits · 06/04/2007 23:13

I am getting rather drawn in - better go to bed soon as dh is in bed already.

ds1 got all his teeth with no bother and ds2's first 6 were fine - which is why I am not sure if this is teeth related. Not just whiney and grizzly though - screamy and screamier!

wtg baby otter!

Oxygen · 06/04/2007 23:15

I have no idea tbh...been having some very freaky dreams lately, most of which have been having something come true the next day. Last night I dreamt I namechanged to Oxygen, suddenly remembered it and thought I'd see if it was there... it is, so I thought I'd play

I'll gte bored in a few days when i realise I am being ignored

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 23:20

You're nuts!

Well if you're going to stick around CR then give us some stats and I'll add them onto the next thread .

Should go to bed myself too. Night all.

OP posts:
Oxygen · 06/04/2007 23:29

I'm not... I'm "special"... DH tells me so all the time as he pats me on the head and walks away...

Jelley · 07/04/2007 08:25

YAY baby otter!

Flame - you won't be ignored, It will take people about2 seconds to recognise you.

Hello chasing rabbits

mustrunmore · 07/04/2007 09:56

Ha ha csws; maybe I finally am getting a life!! Nah, actually, I just had a heap of stuff to catch up on. Then yesterday, we took the boys on an egg trail, which I enjoyed far more than they did. It was a beautiful day though. Today, I will get a run in, but am just waittng for Tescos man to arrive, as we have nothing to eat!!!
Whipsnade would be good in theory, but then you'd have to meet my Dad And it depends if he wants to go I suppose, seeing as he's the driver!

Hang on, why are you Oxygen now? I'm going to have to reread this at speed to find out

Jelly, I donr suoopse you kept the creche ticket did you? Or did they keep it? Just that as it was ds1's first time, I'd have liked it to stick in my diary!!

mustrunmore · 07/04/2007 09:58

Oh, ok, just read it flame/oxygen I'm getting crap at scan reading! I prefer Flame.
I couldnt possibly change my name to some of my dreams, I 'd get banned from mn [wnk]

Oxygen · 07/04/2007 11:33

I'm quite liking the change atm, but it'll be like with frivolentdemon - I get all weird and feel like i'm in a posh frock n heels.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 07/04/2007 13:32

mrm - I have the solution to all of your fitness and transportation problems!

Jelley · 07/04/2007 15:55

I can just imagine how much they cost, csws

I'm still planning on getting a bike and baby seat for me this year, so I can get the dds riding, and take them out in the summer.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 07/04/2007 18:36

That's what started us looking Jelley, but see here for what has unexpectedly scuppered us today.

PhoenixChick · 07/04/2007 20:09

Evening,

I had an early-ish (10pm) night last night and everyone turned up to chat

Hi ChasingRabbits

I've just spent the last hour ordering me and dh (mostly me) some clothes from Next online. Its getting a bit convenient to keep ordering from Next and paying £30 a month, i've spent a fortune these last few weeks on summer clothes but as we're too skint to actually pay outright for clothes its the only way

Lewis has now decided that a drop in his eye is hilarious and nothing to scream hysterically for so that makes life easier and its definitely getting better there's no gunk at all now.

Yay for clearing up eyes!

for the bikes... I have to keep reminding you people that exercise is not good for you!

Hellooooooooooo CR

Got rid of a pile of stuff on freecycle, dead fridge is finally gone, sorting through old clothes, and abaout to yank out the dolls house so I can clean it up tonight for DD to go and at in the morning

Still on evil poo Little man is drinking dioralyte instead of a bottle

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 07/04/2007 21:24

Hmm - you've just reminded me that dd didn't actually poo at all today. I guess that means there's unlikely to be any bug left in her, so just teething now, which is still making her refuse solids. She managed half a slice of raisin toast for breakfast, a few chip shop chips at lunchtime, and some dried apricots and a fig tonight, but otherwise refused everything. I tried to explain to her that in a few years time she'd be begging me to make her pizza, so she should eat it for tea tonight, but she just threw it on the floor (repeatedly), and ended up with a bf instead. Bought the book 'Toddler Taming' today though - she won't know what's hit her soon .

Pg - you do actually have to pay the catalogue bill at some point you know!

CR - am pmsl at the thought of me being fit. You so need to stick around to understand why that is so amusing.

macca is almost a Cambridgeshire lass too CR, and we'll be there on Saturday to pick up our new car! Actually, can either of you suggest somewhere where we can grab a quick but hot lunch next Sat somewhere between here and the A1 Southbound? Needs to be family friendly and able to cope with no dairy (so not Harvester).

mrm - was chatting to hub2dee and he says to say hi . Don't think he's going to be swayed into becoming a regular on here again .
