Laughalot - sorry you had such a crap evening, glad the talk eased things bit. FWIW I think the male brain just works totally differently (no shit!) and they honestly believe they're doing us a favour, protecting us, by not telling us stuff. Men! Bloody hopeless species!
Hope everyone was out enjoying the weather this weekend! Dh is on call fri-mon this BH weekend so I'm stuck with kids (and in laws on sunday) so no doubt it'll pour with rain!

MOHITO RECIPIE....absolutely lush. You have to try this!

  1. Lime Juice (1 whole lime equals about 3 teaspoons) or use limejuice from concentrate.
  2. Sugar (2 heaping teaspoons)
  3. Mint Leaves (freshest are the best!) You need about
  4. Four to Five mint leaves per drink. (3 for mashing and 2 for garnish at the end)
  5. Bacardi Limon (clear) Rum (2 oz)
  6. Angostura Bitters (dash)
  7. Ice
  8. Club Soda (2/3 cup)
  9. Straws (the green ones with the accordion top are cool)
10. A few mint leaves and one lime slice (for garnish)

Morning girls, Sorry, have tonnes of washing to hang out so can't do personalys but just wanted to tell you this-

just back from the doctors agin about Georges face..
Last night it was sooooo red and look really sore with big flaky bits of skin(Strangley its mostly on one cheek, with only teeny tiny bits else where n his arms and legs). I think now the E45 is making it worse still.....

Saw a locum doctor who agreed with the last doctor in that its not excema(sp?).

My chin nearly hit the floor when she siad try calomine lotion.

FFS calomine!!! probably the most drying stuff there is!

So I'm back at square one really.
Chemist didn't have any oilatum so can't try that.

Will be back at the coctors agin tomorrow for his jabs so will ask about it again

Oooh Lizzzz, I love mohitos - although they are (partly) to blame for the appearance of dd as she was conceived on a particularly boozy holiday in Cuba!

LTH - interesting typo for doctors! Maybe given the advice he gave you 'coctor' is an appropriate name though. Hope you get some better advice tomorrow.

Can I come on the spa weekend please? We've just got back from 4 days away at a wedding in Ireland and I am seriously in need of a break!! I'm so not used to 3 late nights in a row .

Also just found out I've got to make a flaming Easter bonnet for dd to wear in the pre-school parade tomorrow afternoon. I'm useless at making things - any ideas on how I can cheat?!

Hattie - straw hat, tie some yellow ribbon round, pin some chicks to the ribbon (get them from cake shops), attach elastic to go underneath DD's chin and Robert is your Father's Brother (i.e Bob's your Uncle)

Ooh, Spa. I tried going for a massage with dsis and mum, but was under 12w pg and they said they couldn't massage me as it might "stimulate the baby too much" so they gave me a manicure instead. Not quite the same thing
