And huge respect to EaH, without whose efforts we never would have had a list

(And yes, I am one of those sad people who finds things like temperature sensors in cars really interesting. Nerd.)

Yey - we are all on and chatting

Rgee - can see your pics now! LO is such a sweetie I'm 25 but my photo makes me look like a gym slip mum

UD - thought you would be sleek-London type (don't ask why!!!!) but you look more rock chick

LTH - PMSL at your baby bogey extractor - you have such descriptive language, faaarrr better than the way I put it

BTW, We are Scunthorpe United (DH) and Grimsby Town (me) - !!!!

wilkie · 19/03/2007 20:55

PCF - love your pics too. The smiley ones make me laugh. A 'greebo' is the same as 'goth' round here. Same in your area UD?

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:01

PCF - Think you posted in te wanted section about giving bill the builder book to anoter MNETTER the person you are posting it to is my bestest mte in real life (eddas) her and her dh are going to be (if she hasnt gone into labour shes due on 2nd april!) 2 of Hatties godparents next week (both ellie and hattie have 4 godparents each ) so thankyou for that when eddas dd receives it she and ellie will read it together as we are at their house on a very frequent basis

Hi all. I would 2nd Rgee's recommendation for the mamas & papas pliko pramette - its ace! Freddie loves napping in it and will switch from pram to pushchair when hes a bit older. Perhaps bit big getting on and off public trnsport, but i'm an expert now!

UD I have the same kind of big long piece of material sling. Have worn it out a few times but i think i don't do it up tight enough as after a while it seems to stretch/loosen and LO ends up hanging round my waist!! at rude people in the co-op. Good come-back though Oh, also LOVED your MIL stories. I've only actually met my DPs parents once before! They're not that close. They live up in York to so it's quite far to visit, but thats fine with me. They are coming to see freddie for the first time next weekend.

Wilkie the stripey suit freddie's wearing is from Next. Think it came in a pack of 3. it's one of my favourites too

laughalot · 19/03/2007 21:15

Right eah and wilkie iv emailed you my pics .

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:17

excuse my typos in the other post, hate the keys on this laptop.

We started to collect the little workmate series as at my work we give free books away when children open their savings account so I 'acquired' quite a few for me and her from there but there were some we were missing!

Just looked at your profile what cuties (we have the yellow/red plastic car blimmin nightmare far to big so been relegated to the garden )

laughalot · 19/03/2007 21:18

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:19

eandh is quietly tapping her fingers on the keyboard and anxiously watching her email box in anticipation of laughalots email

wilkie · 19/03/2007 21:19

wilkie · 19/03/2007 21:19

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:21

bradford and bingley been there since i left school at 18 (nearly 10 yrs ) was deputy manager till I had Ellie then went back as cashier/sales associate when I went part time (although my area manager at the time used to be my branch manager and I used to do a lot of the saturday mornings for him as he had 4 kids so he never adjusted my pay so still get deputy manager salary without all the hassle )

wilkie · 19/03/2007 21:21

Wilkie and EAH VVVV impatient people

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:23

ellies trust fund is with brittania still got hatties voucher in my bag (ooops better remember to do that!)

still waiting for email

Shimmer · 19/03/2007 21:23

Oh, Rgee, you know i asked about your LOs favourite toy from the picture? Well, just as i read about the Whoozit I was in the middle of bidding for the same thing on ebay!! What a coincidence eh? I won it as well - got it for £3.40! Anyone elses LO have favourite toys? Freddies favorite thing is definitely his tiny love 'symphony in motion' mobile. He'll lie and watch that much longer than he'll do anything else without getting bored.

am crap at waiting for anything highly impatient (my star sign is aries so fit the criteria) was very frustrating having to wait so long to fall pg with ellie!!!!!

laughalot · 19/03/2007 21:25

Its our computer its utter garbage it will probably arrive in 3 days time . Can I ask is j and hatie in there moses basket or cot lauren was in her moses basket which I put into the cot however tonight she is in the cot

laughalot · 19/03/2007 21:28

I mean hattie not hatie

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:28

PCF ellie mainly calls hattie 'toots' bcause we call her that sometimes she is her 'sister' and sometimes she is just baby!

Ellie has had that car for 15 months (IL's bought it xmas 05) and she has only just started playing with it. The little girl next door has one and they go down our shared drive saying we're off to work do you want anything from the shops!!!!!

Still waiting for email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ellieandhattie · 19/03/2007 21:29

been in her cot since 5.5 weeks she never really liked the moses basket after ellie tipped her out of it

laughalot · 19/03/2007 21:30

We have one of those cars to its in the shed at the minute untill summer arrives.

annieapple7 · 19/03/2007 21:31

Hi all,
Skimmed the posts as haven't been on for a while..and have been looking at your pics. You are right - your babies are the cutest in the world!

Check out my pix if you like...I need to upload a more recent one of baby Rose.

I also have a Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramtte which is pretty good. But I have mostly reverted back to my old pram (now 5 years old) a Mamas and Papas travel system, which you can clip the car seat straight onto, a boon when doing the school run in the car!

But I do like variety, and now have 5 pushchairs to choose from!

PS Does anyone know how old babies have to be to go in a swingy chair??
