Yes, calves, not thighs The wellies weren't that long!

DS is asleep. When he wakes up I will send everyone to the park and go back to bed

Well, you havent seen ds1 wearing my boots have you? That is a very odd sight as they go up to the top of his legs

Travel cot outside; ds2 would go beserk (er, if I hadnt already sold it!)

Jelley · 11/03/2007 12:26

i put it in the back garden yesterday, and he was fine for a while, as long as he coould see the girls.

I really hope it works. My friend said she will get her husband to fence in her outside bit (we all have a patch of concrete outside the house a tiny bit bigger than a travel cot) for the babies to use, too.

lol at Emrys' big feet and teeny body

Lewis is in 12-18 clothes and only a size 4 feet.

Flamesparrow · 11/03/2007 12:34

I think Emrys would be ok for a bit if he was being talked to by B (as if he could avoid it )

Flamesparrow · 11/03/2007 12:39

Sorting domain names... How does bumfluffnappies.com suit?

If I want just bumfluff then it needs to be bumfluff.org.uk

PhoenixGirl · 11/03/2007 12:42

I think bumfluffnappies.com. Less of a mouthful iykwim

PhoenixGirl · 11/03/2007 12:43

Or easier to remember not less of a mouthful

Flamesparrow · 11/03/2007 12:50

bumfluffnappies.com it is

Jelley · 11/03/2007 15:06

Good choice

I have nits

No one else in the family does

Which shows you dont do enough cuddles Seriously, yuck yuck. It takes forever to comb them all out! At least your hair is shorter than mine. With very long hair, its ridiculous!

PhoenixGirl · 11/03/2007 15:31

I've just been to Asda and bought some lager and got asked at the checkout how old i was i'm bloody 26 fgs.

I bought Lewis some super washable crayola pens and a pad of paper. So when i trust him a bit more not to draw all over my new carpet i'll let him get creative

mustrunmore · 11/03/2007 15:36

Thats very weird. Did I tell you lot about SAinsburys yeterday then? I didnt think I had. I got asked for ID too, buying lager to kill the slugs. I'm 33 (I think...)

PhoenixGirl · 11/03/2007 15:37

No u didn't tell.

Drink it don't pour it on slugs woman

mustrunmore · 11/03/2007 15:40

Its only the Sainsburys basics one, or whatever they call it. 88p for 4 cans! Mind you, ds2 was trying to drink out of the slug trap earlier

Frizbe · 11/03/2007 16:59

MRM n Phoenix, did you kiss the checkout people'd and tell them they'd made your day so which face creams do you use, cause I want some!

Jelley at nits and at none lie in either.

3K glad you had a nice flirt with the osteo

CSWS hope your having a nice lunch

Macca I did shopping too yesterday afternoon, spent the reminder of the child benifit in Next on summer clothes for our hols for the girls, found a pair of adjustable sandles in there for dd1, so hopefully as they're half a size bigger than she currently is, she'll still be in them by our hols in 4 weeks!

Flame congrats on the new .com I didn't look at your links, cause as I was catching up I thought the decision had been made!! will check it out when its all on the site tho you rarely have to prove your hours working for yourself, the tax people tend to belive you also if you keep your yearly earniings under 14thousand, you'll get max benifit, and as new businesses rarely make a profit in the 1st year, you should be sorted (write everything you can think of, off against the business! tea/coffee/milk/sugar = refreshments etc out for a meal = expenses!

So we're enjoying the delights of teething today

Frizbe · 11/03/2007 17:04

why the hell did that post when I'd not finished, damn laptop.....
So teething or should that be prolonged bouts of screaming and refusal to eat anything but yoghurt or icecream (or is that a ploy?) took ages at lunch to shovel in a spot of spaghetti, but she finally at half a portion, poor mite, my happy post 1 baby has been replaced by a screaming wreck
Only time she's been happy all day was briefly eating stones in the garden this afternoon (snap MRM!) and playing peepo thru the playhouse windows.....couldn't let her on the grass tho, as damn cat from somewhere has poo'd on it again, and haven't had time to clear it up yet, as juggling kids whilst dh works!
Oh got 40 in credit from Domino's pizza last night, as we ordered at 7.20 and by the time they delivered at 10.50, we'd rung them 3 times chasing it and we're all very drunk (dh's mate stayed over) will be eating lots of pizza take out me thinks!

Frizbe · 11/03/2007 17:05

Jas I'm posting like you!!

MRM lol at ds2 drinking out of slug trap.

Frizbe · 11/03/2007 17:12

OMG do I win bad mother of the week award? just looked over to dd2, who has just stopped screaming for a moment, and she's passed out asleep on the living room floor and there was I assuming it was just teeth she had her nap as normal earlier, although about an hour earlier than normal to wake and attempt to feed, or to put to bed for the night.....

2boysmacca · 11/03/2007 17:43

Back from the christening. I remember how much I hate London traffic! Took us 15 mins to get off M11 to Blackheath and an hour to come from Peckham to the start of the M11

Dh spent most of the day chasing ds2 around the church. He decided he was not going to sit and listen and kept running for freedom. Ds1 kept saying they were all singing too loud

You were all very busy this afternoon, on such a glorious day! Can't remember what anyone said apart from nits and lack of sleep. In true ds2 style we were up at 4.30. Actually that's a porky pie, I got up at 4.30, put him back to bed at 5.00 then listened to him singing until 5.30 when ds1 decided it was time for him to get up. No amount of coaxing either, would get them back in their beds.

Ds2 is in ds1 wellies even if they are a little too big for him .

PhoenixGirl · 11/03/2007 19:05

OMG ds has just asked (well in his own way) to go to bed

I got him in his pj's and gave him his bottle about 6.10 then he wanted to get down and play a bit, then he came back to me for some more milk and i just said 'u're off to bed soon' and kissed him.

He then started waving to me so i said 'do u want to go to bed now?' and he tried to climb down so i put him down and he crawled off into the kitchen, stopped to look at me so i asked him again 'do u want to go to bed?'

Then he crawled a bit further, stopped, I asked again. Then he crawled right to the foot of the stairs and rattled the gate so i've took him up and all is quiet up there now

mustrunmore · 11/03/2007 20:00

ds1 fell asleep at 6.15 mid-muffin

CODalmighty · 11/03/2007 20:00
